Due to popular demand, I've decided to turn an initial idea for a 1x1 into a full-fledged RP anyone can join! Based on an RP I did in FeralHeart back in the day, we'll follow Kanut (Kah-noo) as he journeys from his homeland into the wintry setting of his new home, struggles to begin a new clan of fellow saber-toothed cats, and seeks revenge against the dire wolf pack who slaughtered his birth clan and family. -Rated M -Characters need Inuit names. Google is packed with them! -Literate writing skills are a must, but you don't have to type a novel with every post. Everyone gets writer's block! -Please post a character sheet so we can all see how pretty you are! Doesn't have to be super detailed and fancy if you don't want it to be! -When cubs come into the story, pleeeeease refrain from useless cub drama: By this, I mean the old cliches. Don't go breaking limbs from a small trip, don't go running away every five minutes, don't be bitten by anything venomous, you get the drill. Cubs are cubs, not ticking time-bombs of premature death. -Following that, mates are allowed, both permanent and temporary. -No Mary Sue's here. No one is a god in battle. Please ask permission, though, before going out and crippling or killing anyone's character. -Due to the RP getting so big so quickly, I ask for everyone to just stick with one character for now to keep things organized. -The Mortla Clan (once it becomes officially established in RP) will reside in a rocky cave in the mountains behind a frozen waterfall, so keep the environment in mind! -Have fun! -Densa heard a muffled laugh, was that, a female laugh? He theb felt a stong tug on one of his legs, and soon, he was laying on the snow the hole he was just in before him. His ears perked and he looked back to see a female saber cat!- "Oh hello" -He then laughed at her joke- "Yeah, it was great!" -Densa sits up feeling his face run a bit hot out of slight embarrassment. He shook his main free of the snow that clung to it, dipping his head like the gentleman he is, he introduces himself- "My name is Densa, what is your name, malady?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sesi / 2 years old / Rogue / Mentions: Densa Sesi took the time to regard the male infront of him in awe. He was big! What did she expect? Males were usually bigger than females. She felt silly for being amazed. The scared female wasn't scared by the slightest, just surprised. Her stubby tail wiggled behind her in excitement. It's been a while since the last time she came into contact with another. "Hiya." Sesi chuckles with no fear, just amused. "That's good to hear. I was a little worried you might come up dead." She hums, lips turn up in a playful smirk. Her eyes sparkle with approval, noting how gentlemen like he acted. It was a first for her. Teasingly, she did a little bow of her own her rump in the air shaking. "Pleasure to met ya Denden." Sesi spoke, already giving the stranger a nickname. "The names Sesi and don't you forget it." She replied with confidence, walking around him. "How does a fella like you get stuck like that?" She snickers playfully, blue eyes meeting his bravely. If he decided to strike her, she could easily run but not before giving a piece of her mind of course. She wasn't just some dam in distress. -Densa was wildly pleased by her expression and grins back. His own tail rubbing a divit into the snow.- "Me? Dead? No!" -He exclaimed in playful disbelief. He laughed when he heard the new nickname given to him- "How clever! I've never heard it before." -He smiled down at her, his crystal blue eyes clashing violently with the flame color of his main.- "I think I'd rather call you Sisi" -He poked some fun, jokingly. He watched Sesi as she walked around him with a smile across his muzzle. Then looked to the hole in the snow, when he looked back to Sesi, he found himself quite impressed with her bravery.- "Well, you see, I was playing in the snow. I went in for a dive, and found myself stuck in snow that was a bit deeper then expected." -He laughed realizing how cub-like that sounded.- 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sesi / 2 years old / Rogue / Mentions: Densa Ses shook her head as he exclaimed, mimicking her own playfulness. She was just happy to see someone could tolerate her behavior. She could remember coming across a temperamental female that nearly smacked her across the face for being 'annoying', Her annoying? Never. "Sisi? You know what, I like it." Ses grin up at him. "Though others would just call me ses." She shrugged, either would be fine with her. The scared female tilted her head, watching as he glanced at the hole that held him. She tried her hardest not to laugh, explaining the events earlier. He sounded like a new born cub. She couldn't imagine the scary looking male to act such a way. Hey, can't judge a book by its cover. So far, she liked him. Sesi was pleased with herself. She could see them being friends. "So basically, you were frolicking around like a cub? Make sense." She snickers, lifting a white spotted paw to her muzzle hiding a teasing grin behind it. Snow particles clung to her silver like fur, causing for her to look more white then she was. Sesi liked the north, the environment, and chilling air was comforting. It was a suitable home for the female. Perhaps, she could settle down in a clan? Her stomach suddenly made a rumbling noise. Soon enough Aguta grew bored and got up and left, not even looking back. The wind beat down on her face as she exited, only leaving her to lower her head. Then the scent of other sabers was in the air as she once again lowered herself. Her coat fit almost perfectly with the snow, being invisible unless you were to look close enough. She continued to crawl, seeing two other sabers conversing with each other. She remained crouched down, watching them and observing what they were to do. Noticing that one was male she growled lowly, having a strong distaste of them as from long before. Wanting to have a better view she crawled closer, stopping once she was about 17 feet away. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kanut's narrowed gaze widened somewhat when Osha revealed that dire wolves had caused her to arrive at the same destination. An infuriated snarl escaped his maw, and he began pacing back and forth from one wall of the cave to the next, his huge paws scattering charcoal over the floor. "Those damned mongrels. Thieves. MURDERERS!" he bellowed, swiping an unsheathed paw across the stone in front of him, his claws screeching harshly against the surface. His breathing, nearly panting, slowed somewhat as he tried to collect himself, his searing gaze returning to Osha. "How many?" he nearly whispered. He padded forward a few steps, shoulders hunched as he towered over the female. "Did they claim your clan's land? -Densa, giving a poo faced grin, twitched an ear as he replied- "Well, thisbis your special nickname, only I can call you" -Quite the cheeky male he was as he stuck the tip of his tongue out at her, closing his right eye in a wink- "Correct. I never really lost the energy of cub-hood. So many sabercats now-a-days are grumpy and spiteful." -He lifted a paw, spreading its toes and unsheathing its claws a couple times- "Probably because they have Kitty-arthritus. Crochety old felines" -He caught himself purring, bit didn't hide it. He liked the sound of his purr. Like a thunderstorm raging on in his esophagus.- -Densa's ears perked when he heard the grumble from her belly. He simply stood with a smile- "It appears so, might we hunt together?" -Standing up made him look as though he were a mountain compared to her. Aguta thought that it was no threat as she sat up, a little more visible now. Hearing the word hunt she licked her maw, her ears rotating forward. Soon enough she stood, then started to paw the ground, occasionally looking up at them. 'If they go, I'll follow,' she thought to herself as she silently agreed. She slowly walked forward before stopping at about 11 feet, then sat back down. She then glanced towards the male, a slight smile spreading but it soon faded as memories flooded her head. She lowered her had and closed her eyes, trying to clear the thoughts. Aguta suddenly became unaware of her surroundings, her main intent was to now rid the memories. 0 players like this post! Osha would drop her head, listening to the males questions his agitation clear. "there were at least 20. They..." Lips would close not wanting to speak but his questions needed to be answered. "I have always been solitary. Never had a clan, my mate and I had found a place away from them..at least we thought.." A large paw would slide across the ground dragging into the dirt "We were wrong however they found us...my mate tried to protect us but there were just to many..and I....I couldn't protect my cubs...they snatched them from me before I could react." Osha had tried her best to protect both cubs, nearly losing her own life in the end. Under her thick fur newly healed wounds were concealed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sesi / 2 years old / Rogue / Mentions: Densa, Indirectly: Aguta Sesi gladly returned his silly actions with her own. Her own pink tongue stuck out in the cold. "Then it's a good thing I don't have this 'Kitty-arthritus'." Ses shook her head, a bright smile still clearly on her muzzle. It looked odd against her ruined muzzle. A few cuts present across her lips and chin. Her blue gaze spark with mirth, clearly enjoying the conversation with the other saber tooth. He was such a silly male, and yet so fascinating. They would be great friends. Laughing in her paw, Sesi made a move to pass him but instead bumps into his shoulder. Of course, she hardly fazed him but that didn't stop her. "I think I would like that Denden. Unless you're too big to keep up with me." The young female challenge, prancing ahead of him. "Oh, try not to fall into any holes again!" She called over her shoulder, her tone of voice laced with laughter. The Sabercat was clueless of another set of eyes watching them. The wind and snow covering the other's scent. Seeing the female prance off, Aguta glanced at the male. Thoughts ran through her head before deciding to follow the female and not wait for him. Standing she started to walk after the female, then went into a full out run, only pausing once she got ahead. Growls echoed i her head as she saw red, but it quickly disappeared as she looked back. Knowing that it was just a hallucination she continued, catching up to the female, once again pausing as she went too far. Time time she would pop out of the snow as if she had a different coat, but for the rest she stayed hidden. The wind stung her face, making it numb to the touch, but the only thing urging her on was the thought of the morsels that she was maybe going to get after the other two had gotten their fill. 0 players like this post! -He chucles- "Copysaber" -He teased, waving a paw in the air. He found himself fantasized by her flaws. He longed to know where they came from, but decided that was for another time. After all, scars usually arnt earned on good occasions. Densa felt himself making a great new friendship, and was completely overjoyed by this.- -With a smile on his face, Densa rased an eyebrow, his eyes half closed as he watch her pass by him. His purr rumbled slightly louder as she bumped him. His tail stuck straight up as he spun a round, for a moment, he could have swore he seen something, but ever since he's been in the snow, his eyes have been playing tricks on him, so he let it by pass his mind.- "Too big!?" -He demanded playfully, then violently shook his fur, causing it to fluff and with a crazy look, he bellowed- "How's this fot too big!?" -With that he raced off after her, kicking up snow like mud. As he caught up to her, he shouted- "No promises! The holes just cant resist me!" -With a laugh of pure delight, he jumprd over her, landing with a muffled thud in the snow. Sesi / 2 years old / Rogue / Mentions: Densa, Indirectly: Aguta Sesi looked over her shoulder, noting his mane giving him a more fluffy look. "I'm not sure if that's fluff or fat?" She retorts, pleased with her teasing words. She smirked, overgrown fangs making it difficult and plain out silly on her. Sesi slowed her pace, seriously worried that Densa wouldn;t keep up. Densa just kept on surprising her. Before she knew it, the male speed after her and miracle leaping over her figure. She watched with widening eyes. She quickly shook it off, hoping he didn't notice. Can't have him getting a big head about how impressed she was. "You're as graceful as a dodo bird!" Sesi joked, completely at ease with his presence. Her rounded ears twitch, catching a noise further out ahead of them. Momentarily distracted, sesi tripped over her own paws. She yelped, tumbling. Now that was graceful. She blew air, pouting. "You didn't see that." She playfully glared at Densa's structure. She shook her blue tinted coat, looking out towards the white lands. Her blue gaze surveys their surroundings curious. Aguta saw that they had stopped and so did she, sitting down slightly ahead of them, about 9 feet ahead. She looked back, wanting to know if she would continue or not. She then looked down, slightly disappointed, but then an idea popped into her mind. She stood back up, then started to dig, her playfulness now taking over. Once she dug a big enough hole she stuck her head in, her ears flattened against her head. She then lifted her head back out, snow now covering her face.
