Due to popular demand, I've decided to turn an initial idea for a 1x1 into a full-fledged RP anyone can join! Based on an RP I did in FeralHeart back in the day, we'll follow Kanut (Kah-noo) as he journeys from his homeland into the wintry setting of his new home, struggles to begin a new clan of fellow saber-toothed cats, and seeks revenge against the dire wolf pack who slaughtered his birth clan and family. -Rated M -Characters need Inuit names. Google is packed with them! -Literate writing skills are a must, but you don't have to type a novel with every post. Everyone gets writer's block! -Please post a character sheet so we can all see how pretty you are! Doesn't have to be super detailed and fancy if you don't want it to be! -When cubs come into the story, pleeeeease refrain from useless cub drama: By this, I mean the old cliches. Don't go breaking limbs from a small trip, don't go running away every five minutes, don't be bitten by anything venomous, you get the drill. Cubs are cubs, not ticking time-bombs of premature death. -Following that, mates are allowed, both permanent and temporary. -No Mary Sue's here. No one is a god in battle. Please ask permission, though, before going out and crippling or killing anyone's character. -Due to the RP getting so big so quickly, I ask for everyone to just stick with one character for now to keep things organized. -The Mortla Clan (once it becomes officially established in RP) will reside in a rocky cave in the mountains behind a frozen waterfall, so keep the environment in mind! -Have fun! -Densa, clearly agrivated by this interaction snarled loudly, strechting his body up to make himself look enormous. He bore his huge, sharp teeth, but didn't charge, for there was no reason to. Densa tries not to start fights, though this male really kicked a leg out from under the chair he was metaphorically sittibg on. Luggage is a burdon, but the company of the Saberessi was bliss. Densa turned to see Sesi squabbleing with the obnoxious new male, and instantly runs over, blocking her next blow with his own body. Man, did that Saberess have power. His body wavered slightly, but not by much- "Sisi, have you gone mad?" -Densa eurged in a bold voice. Stickingly different from his playful voice that he's used since he met Sesi.- "Not all Sabers will spare you if you go challenge them. He, obviously doesn't give a damn about a Saberess." -still standing quite tall, his fire hued main dances as though fire would. Its black and white tips clashing like gladiators of Sparta.- "Spare yourself the injuries, and leave him to die in the cold." -An order excaped his lips. This Saber could quite easily take charge of a clan if needed. Densa's crystal blue eyes stared down at her intensely as a white smoke of breath scurtied from his nostrils.- 0 players like this post! Aguta watched Densa block Sesi's next attack, slightly unaware of the oncoming male. Her fur stood on end, as she immediately stood up, eyeing the male. "Yes we are a group," she answered, drawing out her words as they were spoken. She took the chance to take a look away from the male, looking to Densa next. She was slightly shocked by the fact that she saw a complete change in him, and was almost glad for it. 'If he hadn't intervened she probably would've died,' Aguta thought as she then focused her attention on the new male. "I was curious. And maybe interested in joining you. Why are they angry?" Uuk went sort of quickly from one topic to another, not used to being social. He had spent most of his life without using words, so it was to be expected. After examining the others for a moment, he returned his gaze to the female saber. "And who are you?" Uukkarnit came to a quick conclusion that they weren't very organized, but wondered if this female was the leader. Hearing the male's question she thought back, then got the answer. "The male that Sesi attacked, or the other female, had came to us and acted as if us females were of no use, or more or less pointless," she answered, then motioned to the male that was behind Densa. "As for who I am, I am Aguta," she then answered with a slight smile, before it faded and she glanced at the others. 'I just hope that we can make it,' she thought as she then looked back to the male, wondering what his reaction would be. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sesi / 2 years old / Rogue / Mentions: Densa, Aelia, Aguta, Uukkarnit Before she could possibly think of landing another hit, she was blocked off by Densa. His glorious mane hiding her from Aelia's sight. She pouted, feeling like she was being scolded by a parent. She wasn't afraid. Perhaps, that's where she was wrong. He looked down at her with crystal blue gaze that mesmerized her for a second. His tall figure looming over her smaller size. Her ears perked forward, relaxing her tense muscles. Sesi drew comfort from his familiar scent and sight. "But, but! Oh whatever." She blew a puff of air in frustration before backing off. If it was anyone else, she would tear them a new hole. This was Denden. Her new friend who offered sweet companionship. She turned away, huffing and puffing. She was certainly high sprung. She paused from her little tantrum, finally noticing another stranger. Geez, how much more sabers were coming north? This one looked a bit friendlier, sharing similar spots as hers. The difference was his were darker and more potent, while hers were lighter barely noticeable. The events that just transpired completely forgotten, a bright grin spread across her muzzle. "Hello there!" She hums, approaching the two. Sesi felt bad, leaving Aguta to deal with him alone. She slipped next to her, snow clung to her coat. Sesi ran a tongue along her scarred lips. -After watching Sesi go, Densa too sees the stanger, but doesn't leave the snide male before letting out a kingly snarl to him. Densa trods back to his small family of friend, and tge stanger, just in time to hear Sesi's greeting. Osha would grow silent, as eyelids grew heavy. Head would come to rest upon her paws. Dreams of unwanted things would fill her mind making her grow restless within her sleep, until finally able to push bad memories from her head. A deep sleep would eventually wash over her. It would be only when she awoke would she decided to with Kanut on his hunting trip. After all two sabers could take down prey easier then one could. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aelia stood up in surprise as the female knocked him in the head. He sighed and walked up to her. "You have been noticed." He then trotted back to his spot on the rock, putting his huge head down in pain. Wow, was that saberess strong. His blue hues of ice on the water danced on his pelt, as if telling a story. His glacial mane blew through the wild wind, making a small dance as he closed his eyes. Uukkarnit expressed a smiled as he saw all the others come to greet him. "Hello. I am Uukkarnit. Good to meet you." He bowed his head a bit. "You females have been mistreated? By which one?" The male rid his fave of the smile as he examined the group. He wanted to know who would be trouble, and would like to give such male a talk. Females were vital, considering they bore the cubs and helped us hunt. Oft times they are even more intelligent then males, since they (including himself) can be kind of full of it. Kanut awoke a few hours later, and felt a sense of relief hit him when he saw Osha still asleep in the cave. No saber was whole without other sabers; it was saber clan custom that banishment from one's one kind was the deepest and most shameful of punishments, reserved only for the most vile of offenders. He got to his paws and shook his pelt roughly, then stretched, his rear sticking up as his forelegs reached out as he splayed his claws. "Osha," he said, attempting to keep his voice somewhat quiet to avoid startling her. "I'm getting us something to eat. (Hey everyone! You're all doing so great, and your characters are wonderful! I'm thoroughly enjoying reading all of your posts! Rules have been updated just a smidge, nothing major, so feel free to check up on them at your leisure! Kanut and Osha will be leaving to hunt soon, and they'll discover the rest of the group while they're out and about so we can move to the new cave. Osha would blink her eyes open at the soft sound of her name being spoken. She had yet to realize that hours had passed since she fell asleep. Her head would lift to look at Kanut, asking her about the hunt once more. It would be wrong of her not to join him. "Yes I am joining you. We might stand a better chance at catching something with the two of us." she would reply as she got to her feet. Osha would arch her back in a stretch, following with a leaning forward motion to stretch her hind legs. "What do you suppose we will find for prey?" "Rams," Kanut said shortly, crouching to crawl out of the cave and out into the snow. "You can hear the stupid creatures bashing into each other all hours of the day around these parts. There's dozens, scores of large herds in the mountains I'm guessing. Wouldn't be a bad idea to search for a suitable home up there." He strode out through the snow, cutting a path for Osha trailing behind him. The drifts were fairly deep as they climbed higher altitudes, and it easily reached Kanut's chest in some places. He broke through it like scissors through paper. True to his predictions, the soon came across a decent-sized herd grazing in a patch of hardy grass they had scraped away at to find beneath the snow and ice. Several young rams, oblivious to their surroundings, were busily clacking skulls to hone their skills they would need as harem leaders. Kanut jerked his head, motioning for Osha to crouch beside him. "Like catching beetles for cubs," he smirked somewhat. "They've never seen the likes of sabers before. They'll be paralyzed with shock and we can take our pick." 0 players like this post! Like? |

She was purring softly content, completely forgiving the Sabertooth just like that. It was who she was. Sesi rounded ears flatten against her skull, the chilling winds caressing her thick fur. "Hey!" She exclaims with excitement at the thought of more companionship. "Why don't you join us? I was just about to suggest we search for some shelter." She added, finally noticing her own shivering. Thick fur could only do so much. By now, her grayish blue coat was damp from the snow melting into her skin. Sesi wouldn't getting some rest either. It's been a long journey from the east to the north. "Unless of course, you're busy." She mutters, embarrassed at her own actions. "What do you think Aguta?"
