Okay so it's come to my attention that not all of the reverse studders stick to their word and end up keeping the cubs if it is proven to be a dwarf or leopon etc. Which in my opinion seems very scam-like. As if no mutie is produce they earn 50-100gb of stuff, if a mutie is produced then they send the items back and come up with an excuse to keep the cub. With the current rules admins and mods won't do anything about this themselves, except possibly ban a scammer, but it's not their job to return lions etc! Which I understand completely, I wouldn't want to have to deal with stuff like that either XD I'm certainly not saying every studder is like this, some of them are awesome and completely reliable <3 But unfortunately not all are! My suggestion is that there is a more formal way of reverse studding! How? I'll use a leopon as an example. .There would be a way to put your 'pon up for stud as a female lioness. She will be put up and like a trade, there will be a buyout and ways to offer items etc! .The payment will only be made once she get's pregnant to prevent paying for nothing XD The payer will choose the stud from a list, or use their own king. .Once the leopon is pregnant, the lioness can't be traded, sold etc, she must stay on that persons account, like how cooldowns work, but for a longer time! .The cubs she gives birth to can't be sold/chased and they must stay on the account until they're old enough to leave the mother. .When the cubs are old enough they will be automatically sent over to the person who paid. I am definitely not saying that's how it should be done! So don't "no support" due to that, instead suggest your ideas on how this would work ^-^ I am no professional coder, so don't expect me to know how easy this would be! Please suggest ideas and give your support! It greatly help those who want to reverse breed but have been scammed in the past or are two nervous to reverse breed due to unreliability! Don't say things like this don't happen, they do and it happened to a friend of mine! Thank you ^-^ Suggestions ~ Mish πΎ (#82643) ~ What if instead of making it so they couldn't be chased or moved from the account during the five days of nursing, it was possible to transfer them earlier to *only* the reverse studee with the requirement of having the nursing cub protected by a broodmother (to function somewhat as a "wet nurse", so to speak.) ^^ That would prevent the studder neglecting the cubs, by not protecting them etc! The owner of the stud would decide how many cubs the payer can choose out of, when they're born the buyer would pick their favourite cub, the rest would belong to the owner of the stud. So if something like two leopon cubs occurred, the stud owner doesn't have to give them both! Studding weekly limits, like kings have now. Most of the arguments made for problems, already exist, please. If you have no experiance in 'pon breeding what so ever don't make an argument about 'pon breeding. Also, don't make arguments for things that already happen. Instead, suggest ways these problems could also be stopped! |

With addition after addition, I can really see why reverse studding isn't a site feature. This is sounding like a lot of really complicated work, constant moderation, and lots of dissatisfaction. Past that though, how is nesting dealt with? If a seller is getting payment at pregnancy, what's to prevent them from CRBing the litter and keeping payment? Or just not nesting? Or neglecting mom until she miscarries? This can't be a way to birth cubs without nesting, that wouldn't be too fair. And there still need to be penalties for neglecting your lions, even if they're pregnant with cubs that are technically someone else's. Just payment after receipt? And then what about people who then refuse to supply aging stones? Since they paid for the cubs, does the owner just have to accept that and keep cubs for 5 days for fear of being reported for scamming? I don't think, personally, that adding broodmothers (and another system for wet-nursing/tranferring cubs) to this whole complex mess is the way to go about that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Most of the additions aren't additions though, they're just re-explaining what I already said, or editing parts XD The cubs/mother would be locked so they can't be transferred, traded, killed, crb etc etc! For the nesting, maybe these cubs wouldn't die without nesting? Or, the person sending them sends nesting items and the stud is nested straight away automatically, the three days without hunting for that lioness would just have to be part of joining in with studding. Or the person paying for the stud puts the nesting on manually, if they forget, it's their fault. Maybe the aging stones could be sent? Like you can send breeding items for males. Or, they just have to be patient and wait. If they don't/can't keep the cubs then they shouldn't take part in the first place, as the cubs will be unable to be chased etc. Like a cooldown when you pick up a tree cub etc. Or, as suggested before (It is already written on the main post) a wet nurse would be required! 0 players like this post! I do think personally this is an ok idea but reverse studding as an official feature of the site has been rejected before and is on the list of things that will probably never happen that is stickied in this board. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Okay, thank you for letting me know Pairo, I just hope there's something more that can be implemented to stop problems due to unreliability of other players. Even if it's not their fault ^-^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's a good idea for preventing scam, but unfortunately we will never receive it ^_^. It's deemed under the "Never to happen Rejections". 0 players like this post! Like? |

*sigh* I still would support this (clicked that button, anyway), but @Shiawase has a point. Xylax has expressed this, so it's sadly very unlikely that it will happen. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I dont know if somebody ready said this because i did not read all the post in here.... If you do this you need to come with something to give a way to split the litter.... Many time i reverse breeding my hybrids is with the promise of sharing the litter if more then one is born.... If you can implement something to alow this i will support 0 players like this post! I'm still uncertain about the logistics of this, but itβs been interesting to read the recent discussion about it. I donβt know if people have seen, but since the OP isnβt active at the moment to add a link in the main post or whatever, I figured it might be useful to link the official discussion post for this issue created recently by admins and mentioned in this week and last week's News posts. Just in case people arenβt aware that staff have put this up for debate right now - to see whether we all want it added, and if so how... LINK IS HERE! 0 players like this post! Like? |
