Glittering amber eyes narrowed, Arcane slunk forward, curiosity urging her to see what the creature was. Creeping out of the foliage into a shadow, she eyed the new creature. She turned her ears back in muted curiosity and worry, behind her the fuzzy end of her tail twitching. As Arcane watched the creature, she kept her muscles tense, ready to fight or run if she needed to, her sickle claws hyperextended.

Tail swishing, Moon walked through the trees. Her purple eyes looked through the canopy above to see if they were flying. Growling softly, she picked up her paw and looked at the trap below. "Human scum..." She grumbled before grabbing a stick to close the trap. Fresh blood sat in the air as her hungry stomach grumbled. She whined but continued on her path to find the dragons.

I grumble at the creature threatening my new friend and roar in anger, I move my body protectively around my friend and bare my sharp fangs at the enemy. I spread my wings ready to take flight if the creature tries to attack, giving off roars of warning to it.

Yes my dragon can talk, but he is currently avioding it so amuse himself with listening to the elf :P

The elf was starting to doze next to the fire when the dragon started to growl, startling her from her sleep.. In seemingly a flash, the dragon was wrapped protectively her, blocking whoever/whatever was being hostile from view.

The dark elf male found himself in a foreign terrain, surrounded by sights and smells he did not recognize. he looked around in confusion, and surveyed his surroundings, in hopes of finding something he recognized. a faint breeze brought with it the scent of blood, causing his eyes to change from green to red, as he realized it had been some time since his last meal.

A rabbit hung from Silk's jaws by a hind foot. Whatever had scared the rabbit had caused it to run directly into his paws, and Silk, always an opportunist, had snatched it up. Having some difficulty due to the excess weight of the carcass, Silk climbed a nearby tree, hauling his slim but tall frame onto the lowest branch before dropping the rabbit's corpse over it. He pinned the corpse beneath one paw as if it might get up and jump away, and then raised his other paw to his muzzle, licking off the blood the claws had drawn from the kill.

I roared at the threat louder and picked up my new friend, soaring away taking her to safety. I held my friend gently in my claws close to my body to keep the wind from freezing her.

The drow followed the scent of the blood to a tall tree where a large.. Cat.. Sat eating it's prey. He gritted his teeth, and forced back his hunger, returning his eyes to their natural green.

Finding herself suddenly whisked into the air, Wintermyth looked down from her new vantage point over a carpet of trees below. She did wonder what had caused such a ruckus, but didn't want to bother the dragon.

His ears twitching at the sound of footfalls, Silk turned his head and eyed the creature down below, sinking his claws into the kill so it wouldn't fall. His black-tipped tail twitched once curiously, the pupils of his brown eyes dilating so he might see the creature better.

Sensing a threat from the air I look for somewhere to land so as not to cause a crash landing and hurting my friend, I find a large tree and land on it, I look around to see what had caused such a sensation from my instincts. I spot a large cat in a tree and another creature from several feet away, but they were not what caused my sense of danger... what could it have been...?

Wintermyth looked down from the tree and saw the dark elf. She gasped in surprise, recognizing him Instantly, although he didn't see her. "Aryk?" She breathed quitely.

The drow heard a loud sound, and looked up at the tree again, shielding his sensitive eyes from the sun. The cat was still there, but higher up in the tree was a (I'm assuming) dark colored dragon, an elf clutched in its talons. He immediately assumed the worst, and knew that the elf was his wife. His eyes changed to red again, and his fangs dropped* in preparation to attack. With an agility that seemed to come from nowhere, he began scaling the tree.

Seeing the creature climbing the tree, I start to fire at it fearing that it will harm my friend. Then I roar in fear of my friend getting hurt, and the fear of possibly hurting someone else I jump from the tree to the ground and forming a protective stance around my friend.

I curl around my friend preparing to die to protect the only other creature, besides my brother, that had shown any interest in befriending me.

Startled both by the loud noise and the sudden movement of the creature below him, Silk pushed off the tree branch in a mighty leap, swiftly dodging as the dragon lunged to the ground as well. He withdrew to the bushes, waiting, watching to see what might happen.

Panic overwhelmed Wintermyth as her husband launched an assault on the dragon, fueled by pure rage. She yelled at both of them, hoping no harm would come to either.

"Nonono!! Aryk, no! Stop! This dragon is a friend!!"

Aryk, fueled by rage, dodged the fire shot at him, and when the dragon landed on the ground, so did he. The yelling of his wife fell on deaf ears as the drow launched a second attack
