Prince Zuko had been chasing the avatar for what seemed like a lifetime. For the most part of his endeavour he’d been trying to find proof that the Avatar was alive, then when he finally did find proof he set chase. Time and time again Zuko had been on the Avatar’s back, only ever managing to capture him once, however his glory was short lived when the Avatar managed to escape from his clutches. However that did now sway Zuko from completing his mission… Now, it had been a good mouth or so, the Prince had been hot the Avatar’s trail for a few weeks, however due to resent heavy fog he’d lost them for a few days. But he knew better then to give up, he had to keep trying, he had to capture the Avatar and bring him to the Fire Nation. No matter what; for the sake of his honour.
Zuko was now standing at the Bow of his Ship, golden eyes scanning the vast oceans and skies around him. The fog was still quite a heavy and posed quite a threat in delaying the Princes plans, he hoped it would clear soon.
“Zuko, why don’t you come join the crew and I for a nice cup of tea inside?” An all too familiar voice broke the Princes train of thought; his uncle Iroh. He frowned. “I don’t need a stupid tea brake Uncle. I need to capture the Avatar, you know that.” Zuko stated in a rather bitter tone keeping his back to his Uncle.
“Oh, but Zuko you’ve been on your feet all day, wouldn’t it be nice to just sit down and relax for a little while?”
“Relaxing won’t help me get the Avatar!” Zuko snapped turning around to face his uncle with a scowl.
Iroh sighed, “Very well, but you don’t know what you’re missing out on.”
Zuko growled watching his uncle return back inside the ship, before turning back around to search the skies once more. After a few minutes of scanning the skies once more, something caught the Princes eye. A dark, distorted shape moving rather swiftly above him. He narrowed his eyes, trying to get a better look, however the fog was making it very difficult for him to clearly see what it was.
“Prince Zuko, there is an Island not too far away from here.” Another man’s voice caused Zuko to brake his concentration once more. “So?” The prince responded rather flatly.
“Do you want us to pull up there? The fog seems to be getting worse.”
Zuko looked to the skies once more, he could not see anything.
“….Fine, but we’re leaving at sunrise.” The prince satiated turning around and walking past the man who was talking to him and headed for his room.

(Omg that was so amazing excellent job dude! I feel bad because my starter wasn't all that great 😂😂😂)

Upon being raised in the bitter cold of the South Pole, it was harder to adapt to the many different places he travelled. Often times he will think about his life back at home and how boring it actually was..though of course he will ever admit that. But he sometimes also regrets coming on this trip for example, almost being set ablaze by the fire nation.
When they landed Katara and Aang began unloading Oppa's back as Sokka set up a small campfire. "Ahh, that's nice..." he said once the flame finally sparked and devoured the rest of the small wood pile. "Hey Sokka, do you mind getting some food?" Asked Katara who set up the tents while Aang readied the sleeping bags carefully. Sokka sighed heavily and nodded, grabbing his trsuty boomerang and machete. "Alright, alright. I'll be back in no time with a feast!" He exclaimed with a risen brow and a proud grin before disappearing into the bushes.
After a good twenty minutes of trying to figure out how to set up a normal snare, the male chuckled and went over to hide in the bushes, peering over every so often to see if anything will go for the berries he carefully placed at the base of the snare. "Ughhh! This is gonna take ages!" He whined and crossed his arms, his face forming an annoyed frown.

The ship slowly made its way through the fog toward the island, Zuko sat on his bed staring at the wall in silence, possibly deep in thought. Soon enough his ship set anchor on the rocky shores of the island. The young Prince stood up from his bed feeling the ship pull to a halt, and made his way out and off of his ship.
Standing on the shore Zuko scanned the small beach they had landed on, he frowned seeing that there was nothing here, just a forest and very small beach. He let out a sigh and looked back to his ship, they were just wasting time here.
“Lovely place isn’t it?” His Uncle said seemingly out of nowhere, Zuko looked over to him expressionlessly. “I bet there are some wonderful flowers in that forest.”
“We don’t have time to collect flowers, Uncle.” Zuko said.
Iroh looked to his nephew and smiled, “Oh, sure we do,” He walked a couple of steps forward, “Your welcome to come, I could do with some help.”
The prince sighed and followed his uncle…

The teen sat and waited, and waited for something to come up. "Awe come on!" He exclaimed impatiently before standing up and walking over to the trap he made.
"Come and get your stupid food you stupid animals!" He called out, clearly aggravated at the fact that his trap wasn't working. "Hmph, this is ridiculous!" He growled before taking his machete into his hands and began walking into the direction of the beach. "Hopefully I can catch some fish..." he mumbled to himself. For a while it was silent as he walked alone, until he heard faint voices into the distance and bushes rustling. Sokka quickly took cover by climbing one of the trees and sitting upon one of the branches. He peered down below, squinting his eyes to try to make out who it was. His eyes widened at the sigh of the young man whom he and the others had encountered earlier a few weeks ago. "Oh no..." he thought to himself and clenched onto his weapon. "I've got to go warn Aang and Katara!" He said to himself quietly though with a worried look upon his face.
"Okay...I just need to carefully step down..." he mumbled. "Damn it why did I climb so high?" He whined to himself then tried to gently shift his weight on one branch, however being the clumsy person he is, the branch snapped and he fell onto the ground. Causing birds to become startled and fly away from the loud thud.

Zuko watched as his Uncle investigated a small bush with flowers on it, “You see theses flowers Zuko?” His uncle began to speak, “Theses flowers are medicinal, when boiled at just the right temperature the juices-“
“Something is watching us.” The prince said quietly, his back turned to his uncle and eyes focused on the bushes not too far away from them. Iroh stood upright, “Mabey they want some of these flowers..” He said with a smile on his face. Zuko shook his head frowning slightly as the sound of leaves rustling, “I don’t think so Uncle.”
Then rather suddenly there was aloud snapping sound, followed by the squawk of birds. Zuko’s eyes widened and he rushed over to the sound, pushing though the bushes. That something, was a someone, someone had been spying on them. “Who’s there!?” He yelled pushing a large branch out of his way.

Sokka listened to their conversation and rolled his eyes. "That old man is weird..." he mumbled to himself before falling to the ground.
His blue eyes widened upon hearing the angry voice shouting and got up to make a run for it. "N-not me!" He shouted though not before long without getting very far he didn't realize that he stepped right into his own trap witch tied around his ankle and pulled him upside down, causing him to drop his weapons. "Oh no!" He groaned as he tried to wiggle around to grab his knife.
"Damn it!" He growled as he struggled to reach up and untie himself from the rope. "Man I gotta work on crunches more.." he huffed before running out of energy and letting himself hang with his arms crossed and a pout on his face. "I'm not telling you anything!" Sokka yelled, his brows furrowed and slowly feeling all the blood rush to his head.

Angrily Zuko stepped out from the bushes, snapping a branch in the process. He would not let this spy get away from him, he could hold valuable information which the Prince needed to know. So he set chase, “You won’t get away from me!” He yelled getting ready to fire bend. However, luckily- For Zuko anyway- the boy who he was chasing got caught in a hunting trap, Zuko smirked walking up to him.
“Looks like you’re trapped.” He said matter-of-factly, looking up at the boy who dangled from a rope. He watched him struggle for a few moments, raising a brow when the boy yelled out that he would not tell him anything. “What do you know?!” He yelled back rather suddenly, “Why were you spying on us? Do you know about the Avatar!?” He stared up at the boy, golden eyes gearing. The boy seemed familiar to Zuko, however he could not quite pin who he was.

Seeing the firebender emerge from the bushes made shivers run up Sokka's spine, it was almost like seeing the boogeyman himself! Sokka rolled his eyes and growled. "I am not trapped! I was just testing my trap to make sure it was working properly..." he snapped as his eyes averted away from the prince.
The teen continued to struggle to untie himself until Zuko asked him a question. "None of your beeswax!" The tan male replied harshly then continued to ramble on. "I wasn't spying on you! I was hunting with my friends, who of course totally DONT include the avatar because that would be ridiculous. B-Because why would I travel with the avatar I-i'm just an average guy!" Sokka stammered and smiled awkwardly. In reality Sokka was probably the worst liar in history.
Sokka gulped and looked at the Prince and over at his uncle who wasn't really paying any attention, except he was too busy studying the plants and such. "So how about you cut me down, and we go our separate ways, hm? I think that's an excellent idea if you ask me!" He chuckled nervously and forced a what he thought was a very convincing smile.

Zuko kept staring at the boy as he spoke, his brow rose at some of his comments. This boy was clearly unsettled, and struggling to find a good coverup story. The prince tore his golden-eyed-gaze away from the boy and to his uncle who was mumbling to himself about some plants. Zuko frowned, turning back to the boy in the trap, he went to say something however stopped himself. Was this one of the Avatars friends? Zuko thought to himself looking away from the boy and to the weapons on the ground.
“A boomerang....?” Zuko remembered being hit by a boomerang just like the one on the ground, he bent down and picked it up. “I’m taking your weapons…Uncle, go tell the guards to come here immediately, we’re taking a prisoner.” He ordered looking back toward the boy in the trap.
“You’re not going anywhere.” He growled, making sure his Uncle was going to get his men.
Moments later his Uncle returned with a few other Fire Nation men, Zuko pointed to the boy in the trap, “Take him to the ship!” He ordered, ignoring whatever the boy said before.

Sokka's aqua blue eyes remained glued to Zuko, watching his every move with a suspicious look upon his face. The boy dangling from the tree once again tried to reach up and grab the rope to untie it but his tries were futile. "W-what!! No way! Give those back!" The boy squirmed as his voice cracked a bit as he yelled to the prince.
Before long Sokka spotted the men approaching the two and Sokka frowned. "Prisoner? What have I done to be-" he cut himself off then nodded softly. "Okay yeah I may or may not have been the person who hit you in the head with a boomerang a while ago but I mean heyyy!" He rambled on, to stall from being taken away by fire nation soldiers. "H-how about you just let me go, and just forget about all this huh?" He suggested with an awkward smile, however deep down inside he knew there was no way out of this. 'Oh come on, Aang and Katara should notice I'll be gone and should come looking for me soon, then they can save me, and we can bust out of here!' He thought to himself before darting his sharp eye back over to Zuko before falling to the ground as his men cut the boy down. "Ow!" He exclaimed as he rubbed his head, feeling dizzy from the blood that rushed to his head then down back to their normal route after gravity pulling him down once again.

The Fire Bender glanced at the boy as he rambled, he was not really paying any attention to the words he spoke, he did not care, he only tuned in when he more or less admitted being the guy who hit him with the boomerang. This confirmed his suspicions, he was with the Avatar, “Listen Water Tribe boy, I know you’re with the Avatar…I’m not letting you go anywhere.” He said turning to face him with a small smirk on his face.
Zuko watched as his men cut the boy free from the trap, “You’ll help me get the Avatar.” Zuko said walking up to the Water Tribe boy who was now being held by a few of his men. He leant in close to his face, “If you know what’s good for you.” He added staring at the boy for a few moments before swiftly turning away.

Sokka's face turned into a scowl as Zuko got into his personal space. "Yeah, right! Helping you will be the last thing I'll ever want to do!" Sokka spat furiously, trying to yank himself away from the grasp of Zuko's men. "Why would I help you, anyways!" He spoke until cutting himself off as Zuko spoke again, getting rather close to his face, causing him to try to cock his head back some. The blue-eyed boy gulped as he felt the heat radiating from the prince before seeing him turning away with a quickness, making him flinch slightly.
As they made the journey back to the ship Sokka continued to run his mouth, making small talk to annoy the soldiers and Zuko, after all it was what he did best. "And then, after I beat up that saber moose lion, we all had a huge feast. Also did I mention that I am the best hunter on my tribe? Because I am." Sokka said with a smirk. Though as he looked up at the large, menacing ship his heart dropped a bit and his jaw dropped as he fell silent. "Oh sweet spirits..." he mumbled, forgetting how large it was. (It's alright lol, sorry for the late reply oops )

Now heading back toward the ship Zuko frowned growing rather annoyed with the boys ramblings. He tried his best to ignore him, about half way to the ship he stopped dead in his tracks and faced the boy once more,“I don’t care about your stupid stories, now be quiet!” He snapped clearly very annoyed, before turning away once more and pacing away.
After not too long they reached the beach where their ship was anchored. Zuko stepped aside allowing his men to push their prisoner onto the ship, watching with a gleam in his eyes. If his plan was going to work, he needed the Avatar to know that his friend was captured. That would be the easy part. -Short-

After being scolded by the temperamental prince he furrowed his brows and averted his gaze away. "Tch, you're just jealous I have more interesting stories than you..." he mumbled quietly.
Sokka planted his feet down every so often, in resistance to be boarded upon the ship. "No way am I going up there!" He shouted, squirming and struggling to free himself. Once finally thrown onto the deck he quickly got to his feet and quickly looked around. It was certainly much bigger up close than up in the air on the flying bison, making Sokka feel helpless in the moment. "My friends will come looking for me y'know...and they'll defeat you again like they did before!" The teen protested before being grabbed once again by Zuko's men. "You should know you can't win! He's the Avatar, and he will stop you and all the fir nation from all the pain you have caused all over the world!" He continued, his balled up fists turning a little pale as he yelled before being dragged down to the prison cells where he was to be kept for who knows how long...
