It was a foggy morning as Sokka and the rest of the gang flew upon Oppa's back for the third day in a row. "Ughhh!" The teen groaned. "Can't we just stop somewhere for a little food..?" He complained, laying on his back and rubbing his empty stomach. "Sokka if it weren't for you we would still have food in the sack!" Remarked his sister Katara. Aang laughed and shook his head. The grumpy teenager rolled his eyes and looked over the edge of the flying beast and peered down below, though it was hard to see due to the foggy sky. He squinted his eyes a bit and saw a large black figure below. "Uh...g-guys...I thing we've got company again..!" Sokka exclaimed worriedly. Aang smiled widely and shrugged his shoulders. "Don't worry! It's way too foggy for them to see! Maybe we can land somewhere and try to find a resting spot" Aang suggested and looked down as well to see if What Sokka saw really was Zuko once again on their trail. After a good thirty minutes of flying into a densely wooded area the team of three, well unless you're counting Oppa and Mo-Mo had landed in a small clearing. "Ah, finally!" Sokka groaned and hopped off the flying bison, stretching his legs and arms out. Character SheetsView and Post Character Sheets0 players like this post! Like? |

Shortly after reuniting with his beloved weapons he quickly made his way out of the room and looked around, making sure no one was around before making a run for it. "Yikes, I hope I'm going the right way.." he mumbled to himself as he made a couple rights and lefts through the maze like ship. Though before long he ran into a group of soldiers, making him freeze. "Oh uh...I was just, y'know...getting a little air.." he stammered then fanned himself with his hand. "Phew, boy is ur hot in here no? I think I should go get uh...uh.." after a few seconds of losing his train of thought on what to say he immediately turned back around to try a different route until he darted up to the deck, seeing soldiers all around. "Oh great..." he huffed and quickly crouched down behind a crate full of supplies. The young Avatar spotted the prince and furrowed his brows intently. "Alright I'm here, now hurry up so we can get this over with! " the boy called up to the deck before jumping aboard using his arbending to land gracefully on deck, though remaining a few feet away with his eyes shifting all around in case anyone decided to attack. Sokka heard the boy's voice and slightly poked his head up over the crate just enough to see what was going on and smiled widely. "It's about time!" He thought to himself, feeling a wave of relief flow over his body. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Seeing that the boy was not in his cell, the men started to search the ship. After a few moments they found him..Or he found them. They called out to him and ran after him, bursting out onto the deck, Zuko stared at them, “What are you guys doing? Where is the prisoner!?” He asked harshly. “He..He escaped! We lost sight of him when he ran up here.” They respond. Zuko did not like the sound of this, “Well don’t just stand there, find him!” In his frustrations he shot some fire out from his hands toward the men, they ducked down dodging the flames and quickly scattered searching the deck. The sound of a voice made Zuko turn back to the beach, the Avatar was standing near the ship. Zuko stepped back a little watching as he air bended his way onto the deck. His men gathered around, ready to attack. Zuko put his hand up, “Don’t attack…” He took a few steps toward the Avatar. “If you want your friend back…” He spoke, “You’ll have to give up and hand yourself in to the Fire Nation…Unless you want to do this the hard way.” The Prince already had a fair idea on which chose the Avatar would chose, but just to be sure he remained on high alert…And were had that Water Tribe boy gotten to? 0 players like this post! Sokka quickly ducked his head to remain out of sight for as long as possible after seeing the burst of flames comming from the young prince. The blue arrow headed boy couldn't help but hear about the 'prisoner' escaping and smirked, knowing that Sokka may or may not know what he was doing considering he was often careless. Once he was on deck he watched the soldiers get in a fighting stance. Seeing a Zuko step closer made the Avatar want to take a step back. The boy listened to the prince and looked away, slowly setting his glider down. Sokka listened intently and quickly stood up, exposing his hiding spot. "Aang no!" The water tribe boy exclaimed, taking a step out of his hiding spot with both weapons in hand. "I won't let you do this to yourself!" He protested. And quickly turned to look at the teen before seeing the water tribe boy stand infront of the Avatar protectively. "You'll have to get through me first if you want the boy..!" Exclaimed Sokka, staring Zuko dead in his golden-eyed gaze. A though popping up in Sokka's mind as he stared but quickly shook it off and furrowdd his brows. "Sokka what are you doing..?" The boy whispered with risen brows. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Prince Zuko awaited a response from the younger boy, he went to step closer, however the sudden sound of the Water tribe boy made him stop. Some men nearby attempted to catch the boy, but failed. Zuko stood rigidly, staring back at the other boy who now stood between him and the Avatar. He smirked at his brave words and without warning went in to attack, attempting to tip the boy over with a swift hook-kick, “Out of my way!” He spat angrily. -So short, sorry!- 0 players like this post! -it's totally fine!- It was all like slow motion to Aang as he watched his friend get full on kicked straight agross his face, his delicate eyes widening. "Sokka!" He shouted before seeing the boy hit the ground with a thud and turned to Zuko with a growl. "Alright, alright!" He exclaimed, tossing his staff to the side and looked down. "I'll go with you..." he mumbled and looked over at the teen who had his lights knocked out. Katara was growing more and more worried by the minute. "I feel like it's just taking too long.." she sighed as she sat next to the fluffy flying bison near the fire. Meanwhile Sokka was in a temporary state of sleep the male had a similar dream to earlier...though this time the view was clear, not blurry. Seeing the prince walk closer and closer until he grabbed the water tribe boy's arms, though he woke up once he felt like he was being pulled by something. His blue eyes shot open and his heart was racing. Though it seemed like he was out for a while, because when he looked around...the deck was empty... 0 players like this post! Like? |

Upon making contact Zuko’s golden eyes widened for a brief moment, he had only intended to knock the boy over so he was out of his way, not actually full on knock him out. He stared at the unmoving body of the Water Tribe boy in a brief moment of shock, before turning his attention back to the Avatar. The Avatar seemed to have given up, he tossed his staff to the side and looked down. The Prince was pleased by his words, “Wise choice…” He said before signalling to his men to take the young Avatar away. Zuko watched onward as his men took the Avatar away, leading him back down below deck. He put his hands on his hips and let out a quiet sigh, “This better be the last time I have to do this…” He sighed to himself. Once the Avatar was out of sight, he let his men go off and rest for the night. Most of them went inside the ship and headed to the dining room to get some dinner before heading off to their rooms for the night. While that happened Zuko remained on deck for a little while, he looked over to the still unmoving body of the Water Tribe boy. With a quick glance around to see if anyone was near he walked over to where the boy lay and crouched down beside him. “What should I do with you…” He asked himself quietly. “Zuko, come inside you’re dinner’s getting cold.” Uncle Iroh’s voice sounded from somewhere behind the Prince. He stood up, “I’m not hungry...” He responded turning away and walking inside. “Not hungry? But how can you not be hungry? After all that work you did today surly you’re at least a little hungry.” His uncle sounded a little worried, however this was not unusual for his Nephew. Zuko walked passed his uncle and headed down the corridor, “I’m going to bed.” “Very well, you sleep well Zuko.” His uncle called out as Zuko walked around the corner out of sight. Soon enough Zuko found his room and walked in, pausing in the doorway for a second or two. Something did not feel right, he’d captured the Avatar, and he knew that they’d be heading back home to the Fire Nation with him, yet something still did not feel one-hundred-percent right. He sighed again walking into his room and pushing the door half-way shut. Slowly he began to undress, and placed his clothes in the corner to be dealt with later. He then walked over to his chest of draws, stretching his arms up high over his head with a yawn and then pulled open a draw to take out his night-time attire. Zuko slipped on the pair of red silk boxer shorts and then walked over to his bed, pulled the sheets back and slipped in closing his eyes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

As Sokka looked around at the empty deck he noticed that the ramp where one was able to climb on and off of the ship, had disappeared. And the height from the deck to the sand of the shore was too dangerous to climb down. "Damn..." he thought then his eyes widened. "Aang!" He called out then quickly covered his mouth, forgetting that he was in-fact still in a wasp nest full of fire benders. "I need to get Aang..!" He mumbled to himself before carefully making his way down into the ship, very carefully making his way through the labrynth-like corridors. A few feet away he could hear laughing and talking from the dinning room, sending a small wave of reasurrance through Sokka, knowing that most of them were still eating. As Sokka began to wearily make his away around he stopped dead in his tracks seeing the lights shine from a room that was all too familiar... "oh come on..." he thought to himself, for he had to pass this half-opened room to get down into the prison cells where the young Avatar was being held. Suddenly as he was about to make a run for it, images of his dream from earlier flickered through his mind, causing him to have a small headache. "Ugh...what is this..?" He mumbled quietly. Seeing blurry images of the young prince was certainly not what he thought he would ever be dreaming about... Finally the water tribe boy shook it off and carefully took a step forwards, hearing a light creak as he stepped. His heart raced as he finally made a run for it as fast as he possibly could, praying that the Prince didn't see him at least. Upon arriving to the large room where the Avatar was held, he jiggled the doorknob and furrowed his brows. "Oh no.." he mumbled as he continued to aggressively yank the doorknob until finally kicking the iron door. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" He explained and grabbed his foot. "Damn it! Where would they have the key..?" He groaned as he looked around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Unable to sleep the Prince rolled over onto his side, laid there for a few minutes, then tossed himself over to his other side, and then finally rolled back over onto his back. Frowning slightly he opened his eyes and stared up at the grey ceiling. Zuko could hear the distant sound of footsteps coming from somewhere down the hall. He ignored it thinking that it was just one of his men, or his Uncle wondering around the ship. With a sigh he rolled over onto his side and faced the door, as he closed his eyes he thought he could see someone walking past his door, but again thought nothing of it and let his eyes close fully. A muffled voice sounded from outside the Princes door, he ignored it and fell asleep… The Fire Nation Prince wondered though some halls, toward a boy dressed in blue and white clothes. He smiled reaching out toward him, the boy smiled back looking up at him. The Prince moved in closer, taking a hold of the boy’s arms gently… “Whoa!” Zuko’s eyes burst open and he shot upright, he looked around groggily. Did he just dream of that Water Tribe boy? Zuko rubbed his eyes swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, “…Weird..” He said quietly standing up, “…Guess I should check on the Avatar…” He mumbled to himself grabbing a robe and slipping it on over his muscular body. Finding his shoes he slipped them on and made his way toward his door still half-thinking about the dream he just woke from. Once out of his room he headed down the corridor toward the Prison cells. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sokka continued to look around for something he could use to pry open the locked door until finally he pulled out his boomerang and tried to use it to open the door as if it were a crowbar. "Come on!" He said, gritting his teeth as he used all the strength he head before peekiing into the cell through the small window at the top. "Hey Aang!" He whispered, seeing the boy asleepnin the corner. However not before long did he hear footsteps approaching slowly. "Aang! Wake up! You gotta help me get you out of here!" He whispered a bit louder. The young boy's eyes fluttered open and he slowly lifted his head, rubbing it slightly. "W-wha..?" He mumbled with a loud yawn before shaking it off and standing up shakily. "Sokka? Why are you still here..?" He mumbled a bit loudly. "Hush you dummy! And I'm still here because I've gotta get you out!" He explained, comtinuing to struggle to open the door. "Aang, I need to to blow air through the key hole so it will lift the lock" Sokka said quickly, awaiting for the young Avatar to do as he asked. The arrowhead shrugged and slowly blowed air inside the hole, though he was obviously too tired to blow barely enough to do as Sokka hoped. "A-Aang! Come one someone's coming!" Sokka pleaded and looked back and forth from the approaching shadow to the boy inside the cell. "Oh good, maybe they have the key.." Aang spoke in between yawns. Once Sokka realized it was no use, it was too late to do anything. The tan boy looked side to side and tried to find a place to hide for the mean time, but again it was too late. At the end of the hallway he saw a figure of the young prince and his heart sunk. "Oh no..." was all he could muster out. Soon enough the flashbacks of his dream began playing over in his mind once again, making him confused and feel many other emotions all at once. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Making his way toward the Prison cells Zuko let out a small yawn, shaking his head slightly trying to clear his mind from that dream. With another yawn Zuko could here quiet voices coming from the Prison floor, quietly he walked down the hall toward them. He knew that most of the others would be in their rooms, asleep or resting, but assumed the voices were night guards or something. However, this was not the case, Zuko’s sleepy golden eyes locked onto the shadowed figure of someone who looked like they were trying to break into one of the prison cells. His eyes narrowed as he tried to see who it was, “Who’s there?” He called out standing at the opposite end of the hall. Getting no response the Prince took a step closer, “Answer me!” He raised his voice, fire-bending a nearby light on. Zuko’s eyes grew wide when he saw Sokka standing by the door to the Avatars cell. He froze in place, part of him wanted to attack, or yell at him, but the other part of him was unsure on what to do. The Prince stood there for a moment, before snapping out of it and walked over to him, eyeing the Avatar who was still in his cell. “What do you think you’re doing?!” 0 players like this post! Like? After hearing the Prince's voice Sokka's body froze and his heart felt as if it ceased to beat. "Aang! Come on now we don't have much time!" He exclaimed until finally Zuko was only a few feet away. "What am I doing here?" He repeated and laughed awkwardly. "Oh y'know j-just uh...I was uh..." he tried to think of something to say until finally a good idea came up, or at least he thought it was... "I'm telling the Avatar not to use his mighty power against you! In fact I'm trying to help you! B-because he was getting r-ready to attack y-your ship!" He said quickly and looked over to the Avatar. "R-right Aang?!" He said with an awkward smile. The young boy who was half asleep nodded slowly, accompanied by a long yawn. "Yep...I'm gonna..." he slurred. "I'm gonna atta...attack..." he mumbled before laying back onto the ground to go back to sleep. Sokka's eyes widened and looked in through the small window. "Aang! No you aren't supposed to-!" He quickly cut himself off and turned back to the Prince who's glare could pierce through steal. "L-look, maybe we can w-work something out?" The teen asked nervously, knowing full well that the prince had no intentions of negotiating with a boy from a water tribe. "I m-mean come on...h-he's just a kid!" He added, his heart racing and feeling his hands go numb a bit before dropping his boomerang onto the metal floors, causing a loud clank noise to echo through the long corridors of the ship. 0 players like this post! Now standing about an arm’s reach away from the Water Tribe boy Zuko raised a brow slightly at how awkward the boy seemed, however shrugged it off. He glanced over to the Avatar’s cell door, “You’re trying to help me?” He watched the Avatar inside his cell. He did not seem like he was going to attack anytime soon, but the Prince could never be too sure. “Why would you want to help me? I’m the one trying to capture your friend here.” Zuko remained turning his gaze back to the water tribe boy. He narrowed his eyes in an icy glare, he was starting to see though the lies. “What are you offering?” The Prince asked taking a step closer toward the clearly nervous boy, “He may be just a kid, but he is the Avatar.” He added harshly. The boy dropped his weapons, a loud clanking sound echoes throughout the hull of the ship. Zuko kept glaring at the boy. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The water tribe boy sighed heavily and rubbed his head. "Look, come on. This isn't a fair fight. You're father will kill, Aang. And Aang hasn't even mastered water bending yet, I mean sure you saw it when he first attacked but honestly, the poor kid didn't even realize what he was doing." Sokka explained, finally becoming more and more confident before turning back to look at the sleeping airbender. "He's lost his entire family, his home, his friends. Everything...and I'm sure you know how that feels too.." Sokka added, before his soft ocean blue eyes met with the firey golden glare of the Prince. Sokka tried to remain calm as he spoke, and took a deep breath. "I know I am not much worth, but, no matter what if you let Aang go now, or never. Aang isn't going to hold a grudge on you, even after all the crap you've put him through. So I want you to really think about what you're doing and consider your actions..." the tan male spoke ternly, with a serious look on his face. However he knew to try as he might, the Prince still wouldn't do anything. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Zuko listened silently to what the boy had to say, with an expressionless face. He knew that it was not a fair fight, but what was these days? Zuko’s whole life had been nothing but unfair, even more so in the last three and a bit years. He turned away slightly at the mention of the Air-bender losing everything he once knew. It brought back memories which he’d rather forget about. Images of his mother, her smile ever so kind and eyes filled with affection flashed though his mind. For a few seconds the Prince shut his eyes tightly, as if holding back tears. More images flashing though his mind, more of his mother, some of his farther, who never seemed to be pleased of him, his sister who seemed to have everything going for her, his home, his people. A moment later his eyes opened again, he took one final glace to the tanned boy, “I don’t care for you sob stories….” He muted coarsely and turned his back to them his hair, which was kept in a high pony tail, made a quiet ‘whooshing’ should as it swung through the air. The prince then spoke again, his voice not at harsh as normal, yet still firm, “Just..Get off my ship.” Zuko said. (Damn this post got me in my feels XD ) Sokka sighed and looked down, his eyes averting away then back into the small window to see the young boy asleep on the floor in the cell. "Don't worry Aang...I'll be back.." he mumbled quietly before turning back to the Prince. The teen furrowed his brows and shook his head. "No! I won't get off your ship! I don't care you can lock me up too! But he's my friend, almost family to me! And in my tribe, we don't leave family behind!" He protested, then there his other weapon to the side and remained in the same spot, not daring to move. His body was stiff and he held his head up high though on the inside he was terrified, for he didn't know what the prince was about to do... 'Don't back down...stay strong...don't back down...stay strong..' he thought to himself, his knees shaking ever-so-slightly as he stood. The suspense was killing the young man as he awaited for an answer to his statement. "Come on! Say something already!" He exclaimed shakily. (Sorry it's a bit short xc ) 0 players like this post!
