It was a foggy morning as Sokka and the rest of the gang flew upon Oppa's back for the third day in a row. "Ughhh!" The teen groaned. "Can't we just stop somewhere for a little food..?" He complained, laying on his back and rubbing his empty stomach. "Sokka if it weren't for you we would still have food in the sack!" Remarked his sister Katara. Aang laughed and shook his head. The grumpy teenager rolled his eyes and looked over the edge of the flying beast and peered down below, though it was hard to see due to the foggy sky. He squinted his eyes a bit and saw a large black figure below. "Uh...g-guys...I thing we've got company again..!" Sokka exclaimed worriedly. Aang smiled widely and shrugged his shoulders. "Don't worry! It's way too foggy for them to see! Maybe we can land somewhere and try to find a resting spot" Aang suggested and looked down as well to see if What Sokka saw really was Zuko once again on their trail. After a good thirty minutes of flying into a densely wooded area the team of three, well unless you're counting Oppa and Mo-Mo had landed in a small clearing. "Ah, finally!" Sokka groaned and hopped off the flying bison, stretching his legs and arms out. Character SheetsView and Post Character Sheets0 players like this post! Like? |

Aang noticed the arrows falling from the wall like rain, glancing over at The Blue Spirit as he dodged them as well. "There's too Many!" He exclaimed worriedly, his heart racing in his chest as he looked around frantically for an opening to escape. However when he felt the cold, sharp metal press against his neck, his body froze immediately and his eyes widened. "H-hey what are you?!" He gulped, slowly moving backwards with the masked stranger at an even pace so he wouldnt get cut. He wasn't entirely sure if the stranger did this to trick him, or to get them out of there... but of course the Avatar didn't want to think anything bad of the man who helped him escape... after a few moments of deathly silence Aang too could hear the sounds of rustling bushes and turned his head slightly, upon seeing the bison he smiled widely. "Oppa!" He exclaimed. Though as he did he watched as Zuko fell to the ground with the arrow stabbing into the ground next to him. Aang frowned when he saw the masked man fall to the ground and spun around a few times, gathering up as much wind as possible before directing it towards to the prison where the guards and archers where with the help of his staff, hoping that will hold them off for just a moment. The Avatar then quickly ran over to the Blue Spirit and noticed the distinct cut now on his chin. With a worried expression he grabbed his arms and carefully tried to drag the stranger into the bushes hoping to hide away from the soldiers. Finally the water tribe boy could handle the suspense anymore and climbed onto the Bisons head. "Yip-yip!" Exclaimed the teen as the Bison carefully stood up and used his large tail to send them into the sky. Before long Sokka noticed the quarrel going on below and landed a few yards away. "Come on Oppa! Just this way!" He ordered to the large mammal as they walked through the dense and dark forest. "Aang!" Sokka shouted upon seeing him, though for a split he watched the arrow shoot down from the wall and skid across the underneath part of Zuko's chin, sending him a few feet back as his eyes widened. After the Avatar send the harsh blow of wind into the direction of the prison walls Sokka had already hopped off the Bison to help bring Zuko onto the saddle. "We need to hurry before they get up again!" The Avatar exclaimed as he jumped onto the bison's head with Sokka soon following, grunting as he carefully set The heavy limp body of the prince onto the saddle. "Alright let's go!" The teen demanded and Aang nodded. "Yip-yip!" The boy called and soon enough they were back in the air again. 0 players like this post! Like? |

….The next thing Zuko knew he was waking up, he groaned slightly pushing his eyelids open. He lay there for a few moments, trying to figure out what just happened. The air around him was icy cold, and the sky above him seemed to be moving. He shut his eyes, thinking that he was still dizzy from being knocked out, but when he opened his eyes again the sky was still moving. “Uh?..” Slowly the prince lifted his head to look around. His eyes widened slightly when he saw he was in the saddle of the Avatars flying Bison. He groaned flopping his head down, and stared up at the still dark sky above him. As they flew Zuko remained laying down, he did not move or speak. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Sokka sitting not too far away from him, he watched him for a few seconds, before rolling his head the other way and shut his eyes… 0 players like this post! Most of the ride was silent until Aang spoke up finally. "So...where should we take him..? Do you think Katara knows how to fix up that cut on his chin?" The boy asked though not taking his eyes off of the land ahead. Sokka thought for a moment, not sure what he should do. The water tribe boy sat nearby the unconscious prince, looking down at the land below. "I don't know...maybe we should wait unt he wakes up.." Sokka finally replied as he oooked back at Aang who nodded with a light shrug. The teen didn't notice when the masked character lifted his head up, his ocean blue yes were fixated on the bright moon above as his stray hairs flowed in the bitter cold wind while he held his knees up to his chest to keep himself warm. Soon enough they returned to the abandoned home which the Avatar and the rest of the Gaang were to stay for the night and silently landed. The arrowheaded boy looked back at the masked man and sighed. "Is he still asleep...?" He whispered, rubbing his tires eyes. "Hm?" Sokka hummed and snapped out of his thoughts to look over at the masked prince. "Yeah I guess so..." he spoke in a soft tone, careful not to wake Katara up. "You go ahead and get some rest, I stay and see if he wakes up." The boy suggested with a reassuring smile. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Although his eyes were shut, he tried to remain awake for the remainder of the flight, however sleep soon overcame him and he fell into a light dreamless sleep…. As time went on the small group eventually found the abandon home and landed. Though his light sleep, Zuko could here muffled voices, however thought nothing of it assuming it was either his imagination or the other two. As time went on the Prince eventually stirred again, half opening his weary eyes. It seemed they were no longer flying and had landed. Zuko slowly brought a hand to his face, pulling his mask off with a slight sigh. He did not bother to check if the others were nearby, he assumed they were all asleep by now. Grunting slightly he pulled his aching body up into a sitting position and leant his back against the edge of the leather saddle. “Ugh… That did not go to plan…” The teenaged prince mumbled wincing slightly as he accidently touched the cut on his chin. Pulling his hand away from his face he looked at the small amount of blood on his finger not really paying attaching to much around him…. (Sorry for the short posts, I have to go out for dinner soon and rushed it D:) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aang nodded to the water tribe boy and gently climbed down from the large animal before plopping down onto the stone floors and used his bag as a pillow. He didn't really mind sleeping in the hard floor, for that's what it was like when he still lived in the Air Temple. Soon the arrowheaded boy drifted off into sleep and all was quiet again. Sokka staid on the saddle, glancing over at Zuko every now and then before noticing himself starting to stare a bit. He rolled his eyes and turned away, staring up at the sky and listening to the distant sounds of the nocturnal animals around them. When The teen heard the groans comming from the laying figure his ocean blue gaze quickly darted over, his muscles tensing a bit as he watched carefully as he removed his mask. "No kidding..." Sokka spoke out, mainly to state that he was present. When he watched the prince pull his hand away the boy immediately spotted the droplets of blood that had spread on his finger tip. "You should...uh, get that covered up.." he spoke, though in a bit more of a quieter tone. Still not wanting to wake either of the now two sleeping bodies down below them. (No no you're totally fine! Don't worry about it :3)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

When the sound of Sokka’s voice sounded, Zuko flinched slightly; he was not expecting anyone to be still awake. He felt rather embarrassed about his failed attempt to help the Avatar and the fact that he, himself had to get saved by them. The prince looked down at the mask that rested beside him, “…I guess I should be used to it by now though…” He sighed almost to himself. Zuko finally looked over the Water Tribe boy and shrugged a shoulder, “It’s just a cut…” He responded wiping the blood that was on his fingers onto his pants. “Why are you still up anyways?” Zuko asked hoping to change the subject. While he waited for a response he looked around the abandon home, most of it was falling apart, and plants were growing in it. He then slowly looked over to where the other two were sleeping, before looking back to Sokka. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sokka rose a brow when he listened to how the prince would put out himself down like that, feeling a bit sorry for the teen. The water tribe boy opened his mouth to speak, yet felt it wasn't in his place to say anything so he remained quiet. The teen scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Yeah but cuts can get infected. And you know what happens then? That's right, you get sick." Sokka explained, crossing his arms as he spoke, nodding his head some as well. "Why am I awake?" He asked then shrugged his shoulders, looking over at the banished prince. "Well Aang was gonna stay up and wait until you woke up but the kid looked like he desperately needed some sleep so I went ahead and offered to stay up and watch out for you I guess.." he replied, his ocean blue gaze averting away back up into the sky from the broken roof before looking back down over at Zuko. 0 players like this post! Zuko shrugged his shoulder again in response about possibly getting his cut infected and getting sick. He shifted his position slightly, as he looked around the building before looking back over to Sokka slightly, they made eye contact for a few seconds before Zuko looked away again, “Oh.” Was all he said. The prince shifted again, “Well.. Thanks I guess..” He said a little awkwardly, “I guess uh…You can sleep now.. Seeing as I’m okay…” He spoke laying back down facing away from the other boy…. A few hours later Zuko woke to the sun shining in his face, he squinted rolling over onto his back. Slowly he sat up yawning quietly and looked around, everyone else was still asleep. He sighed and stood up picking up his mask and blades putting them back on his back. He quietly walked over to the edge of the saddle and jumped down, he took one final glance over to the group before walking out of the house and began to head to toward the village. As he walked he found himself thinking about the past couple of days, sighing he shook the thoughts away and clambered over a small-ish rock. It took him a few hours before he found the village again, due to him moving at a much slower pace than normal, but when he reached the village he headed straight for the docks. Zuko paused slightly, seeing that Zhao’s large ship was still docked beside his own ship. He hoped that the older man was not aboard the ship watching him and was still at the Prison. Quickly Zuko made his way onto his ship, not wanting to stick around long enough to find out and headed to his room being careful not to be noticed by the few men who were awake and wondering around the ship. He snuck into his room and hid the blue and white mask back in his draw, hung his blades back up and changed into his sleepwear. Silently he slipped into his bed and rolled over onto his side facing the wall and tried to fall asleep. 0 players like this post! Like? |

When the two had made eye contact it sent a weird feeling down his whole body, making goosebumps rise on his forearms as well and caused him to look the opposite way quickly. "Yeah...sure.." he replied, a tad bit of awkwardness was heard in his voice as he spoke, clearing his throat shortly after. When Zuko had laid back down and turned away from Zuko the boy sighed quietly and climbed down from the saddle and walked to his pile of blankets. Then he undid the small pony tail from his hair and letting the brown hair fall over his undercut. Then the water tribe boy took off his shoes and overshirt before laying back down, shifting onto his side facing away from the others and slowly drifting off back to sleep. That morning Sokka was awoken by the sound of Aang's voice. "Awe! He left already!" The boy whined, scratching the back of his head as he looked around the empty saddle. "I still don't understand how all of this happened within a span of a couple hours...that guy must have some serious skill.." Katara spoke up, crossing her arms as she looked up at the young Avatar before looking back down over at her brother who just barely rose from his sleeping spot. "And why didn't you wake me up?! I coulda helped!" She scolded in frustration. Sokka however yawned and shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry." Was all he said. The male teen stretched out and looked out into the ruins from the broken walls and sighed slightly. "So did he wake up at all last night?" Aang asked curriosly, tilting his head a bit. "Yeah, but he didn't really say anything." The water tribe boy replied, not making eye contact with either his sister nor The Avatar. In his head he wondered if it were a good idea or not to tell the others that it was in fact the Prince who had been tracking them down relentlessly for the passed few weeks. "Well...did he tell you his name? Or show you his face?" The boy added, raising a brow. "Surprisingly nope! I just said thanks and he left!" Sokka explained, shrugging his shoulders. 0 players like this post! Like? |

As the morning drew on Zuko’s men woke and set to work. Zuko still lay in his bed, he managed to get an hour of sleep. The prince rolled over onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. He was still trying prosses just what had happened last night. It all happened so quickly, one moment he was trying to free the Avatar, the next he was knocked out and then he ended up being saved. “Crazy..” Zuko mumbled to himself sitting up slowly. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, Zuko swung his head over to look at his door, “What?” He called out yawning shortly after. The door cracked open slightly, “Oh, sorry to disturb you Zuko but, I was just about to head out to the market and was wondering if you’d like to join me.” It was his Uncle. Zuko sighed. “We could go get some breakfast there if you’d like.” Iroh offered with a kind smile. Zuko shook his head, “I don’t have time for that Uncle….” He sighed. Iroh frowned slightly, “Don’t have time? But you’ve only just woken up. Surly you have time for a nice breakfast.” Zuko looked away for a moment, “Fine, I’ll be with you in a moment.” He said. He assumed it would be better to just let his Uncle have his way this time round. Iroh smiled, “Grate!” He chirped before leaving his Nephew to get ready. Zuko pushed the sheets off of him and got out of bed to get dressed. He put on a black sleeveless top which had red and gold trimming and then a pair of lose fitting black pants and shoes before walking out of his room and onto the deck. “Ah, good you are actually coming!” Iroh said cheerfully, Zuko rolled his eyes and headed for the exit ramp of his ship. Iroh quickly followed after, “So, do you have any ideas on where to go?” The old man asked catching up to his much younger Nephew. Zuko shrugged, “I thought you had everything planned before.” “Well, I wanted to see if you wanted to do anything…This is our last morning before we head off to the North Pole after all.” The old man explained as the two of them walked toward the markets. Zuko let out an annoyed groan... Soon enough the two Fire Nation men reached the market. There were quite a few people pottering around, taking, eating and shopping. Zuko looked around at the stalls, most of which seemed to be selling what Zuko would consider ‘Useless junk’. But of cause his Uncle clearly though otherwise and dragged his more than reluctant nephew into a nearby stall. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"Is that so..?" Katara said in a curious tone, rubbingbher chin softly as she thought for a moment and sighed softly. "Oh well. That doesn't matter now, we need to get going now before it gets too late and you-know-who will find out where we're hiding.." Katara demanded as she began packing up her things. Aang nodded to her and hopped down from the saddle and gathered his small amount of belongings as well. Sokka on the other hand was a bit out of it,many thoughts and quiestions scurrying through his mind. 'Why did he want to help..?' 'Is he gonna stop trying to kill us?' 'Did you see the way he looked at you?' 'Those golden eyes are like daggers..'. Suddenly from the last few thoughts he furrowed his brows and shook his head quickly. "Ew, what?!" He muttered tonhimself and rolled his eyes. "You okay, Sokka?" The young Avatar asked before tossing his luggage onto the saddle. The water tribe boy looked back over at the two who stared at him and laughed awkwardly. "Uh, yeah. Just uh...thinking about that time when Oppa licked me.." he spoke nervously before getting ready and climbing aboard the saddle along with his sister and the Avatar. 0 players like this post! “What wonderful things this market has… Shame they don’t have the tile I need though.” Iroh said poking through a pile of goods in yet another stall. Zuko sighed walking away, he stood by fruit stall somewhat awkwardly unsure what to do. The sales man noticed the Prince standing near his stall and walked over with a wide smile, “Ah hello young man! Care to purchase some fine fruits?...” He began his usual sails sepal hoping to snag a sail. Zuko stared at him for a few moments, before picking up an apple, “Fine fruits?” He questioned with a raised brow. The man nodded, “Yes, it’s the best frit you’ll get here…And it’s cheap!” Zuko put the apple down, “I’m not intrested…” He said walking away from the stall. The man’s smile dropped watching him leave. Zuko walked a few stalls further away before stopping again, this time making sure he was not near any stalls. He leaned on the wall of a building scanning the stalls around him for his Uncle. Soon enough he stopped him in a different stall he seemed to be buying something. Zuko crossed his arms over his chest letting out a huff of air… After a little longer Iroh finally finished his shopping, and had now sat down with his Nephew. They were now eating breakfast and Iroh was cheerfully telling Zuko about all the wonderful things he had. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(I swear Iroh is so precious XD)) Once everything was packed up and in place the gaang set off once again, lifting into the sky on the large bison's back. As they soared above, the water tribe boy looked down below, seeing the village from afar brought the vivid memories of last night. "Tch.." he grumbled to himself, trying to force himself to let go of whatever is keeping that on his mind. Meanwhile Aang sat comfortable atop Oppa's head he would turn around occasionally to talk to Katara about what's been going on other than the dreadful war since he's been asleep for the passed one-hundred years. Sokka would tune in every-so-often but for the most part he spent the time either looking around or just plain ol' sitting there. But suddenly as he was sharping his machete he thought about his boomerang, causing him to ground and slam his first into the leather. "Darn it! He still has my boomerang!" He exclaimed in a frustrated tone. "Who has your boomerang..?" The young woman asked. "Zuko! The prince guy! " he replied, throwing his hands in he air. "When I was in his stupid ship he took my stuff then gave it back, but then he said he couldn't find my boomerang" he added, rolling his ocean blue eyes before sitting back on the ledge of the saddle. With a sigh the Air Nomad looked over at Sokka and gave him a reassuring smile. "Im sure you'll find it soon. Or maybe he might find it and who knows! He might give it back!" Aang said with an innocent smile. Sokka only scoffed and turned away, waving the Young Avatar off as he did so. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Ikr! I love him so much) Zuko looked down at his bowl of noodle soup, and boredly began to stir it with the spoon. “…And this box here, is from that stall just over there…Quite a lovely couple they are…” Iroh spoke pulling out a hand made wooden box and placing it on the table. Zuko looked at the box, “What’s it for?” He asked trying to sound interested, but it was obvious he was far from interested. Iroh looked down at the box, thinking for a moment or two, “Uh well…” He said running a hand though his grey beard. Zuko shook his head slightly looking back at his soup, clearly his uncle had no idea and just brought it upon impulse. The Prince scooped up some soup in his spoon and ate it returning his attention back to his Uncle who still seemed to be thinking. “Hmm….Ah!” The old man exclaimed opening the box up, “It’s for tea! Yes, yes…Tea Zuko!” He said excitedly. Zuko stared blankly at his Uncle. “See, theses spaces Zuko…They are for the different types of tea leaves..” Iroh spoke pointing to the rows of square spaces (Dunno what they are called XD) in the box. Zuko rose his brow slightly. “This one will be for Ginseng tea…Seeing as it’s the biggest slot and that’s my favourite tea…And this one here will be for Jasmine tea….And this one…” Iroh began listing off all the teas he had and pointed to a different spot he’d put them. Zuko tuned him out at this point and took a few more mouthfuls of his soup. He never quite understood why his Uncle was so obsessed with tea, but then again there were a lot of things Zuko did not understand about his Uncle. Swallowing his mouthful of soup Zuko found himself looking up toward the blue sky as an oddly shaped shadow cast over them for a few seconds. As he looked up at the sky he could just make out the faint outline of some large animal in the sky. He squinted a little trying to get a better look, but a cloud drifted over them blocking his view. Zuko looked away, assuming it was just a bird or something and finished off his breakfast. Iroh suddenly stopped talking and starred hard at Zuko, a worried expression on his weathered face. Zuko stared back, “….Why are you staring at me like that?....” The Sixteen-year-old asked slowly. Iroh frowned slightly, “Your chin…” He said leaning across the table staring even more. Zuko leaned back a little, “Uh…” Iroh’s eyes widened slightly, “Its cut!” He said almost a little too loudly, Zuko flinched at his sudden exclamation. “How did that happen?” Iroh asked still leaning over the table. Zuko slowly reached a hand to his chin, trying to act as though he was unaware of it, “Oh..Um…” He tried to think of something to say as his fingers brushed over the crusted scab on his chin. Iroh slowly stood up, “..I think I know how you got that..” Zuko looked worried for a few seconds, “It’s not what it looks like!” Iroh chuckled, “You’ve been playing around with those broadswords again, haven’t you.” Zuko relaxed realizing his Uncle didn’t actually know what had happened, “…Yeah…I guess I have..” He said quietly as he lowered his hand from his chin. Iroh shook his head lightly with a small smile, “Ahh kids these days…” He sighed. “I’m not a kid!” Zuko snapped. Iroh slowly looked to his Nephew with a risen brow. Zuko mumbled something under his breath before standing up, “I’m going back to the Ship…This ‘kid’ needs to prepare for the next few days…” Zuko said bitterly putting emphasis on the word ‘kid’. 0 players like this post! ((Him and his damned tea leaves XD)) On the ride to their destination they flew over the small village. Sokka starred down and watched as the people down below walked along the streets, however it was a bit hard since the clouds would often get In the way. "Ughhh!" The water tribe boy groaned, laying on his back, staring at the sky. His sister, who was stitching up her brother's torn shirt rolled her eyes as she looked over at him. "What is it now, Sokka?" She asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Aang was sitting next to Katara, watching her pull the thread tight up and over the two pieces of fabric and pulling them together. "Yeah, you've been kinda out of it lately ever since we got out of Zuko's ship..." the young boy added, turning his attention to the frustrated male as well. The teen sighed heavily and shook his head, sitting up. "I'm just tired of flying all day...I wish we could just hurry up and teleport there.." he groaned then listened to Aang. The young man cocked his head backs down furrowed his brows. "What? I don't know what you mean. I've been perfectly fine! You know what? I think YOU have been acting different since we got back from that ship, Aang!" Sokka rambled on, clearly becoming a bit nervous yet defensive. The boy just laughed and shrugged his shoulders, rolling his eyes. "Whatever you say, Sokka" the Avatar laughed shortly. As time went on it was almost as if they were flying over the same ocean as they were before since it all looked the exact same. Momo, the flying lemur would fly off occasionally and return with a few nuts and berries for himself and to throw some at Sokka while he would snor away on the ledge of the saddle, letting his stray hairs from his bun blow in the cool winds. Aang too would take turns with Katara on steering Oppa since Sokka was asleep most of the ride. However as they were soaring in the sky, Sokka finally fluttered his eyes open when the sun was half way obelow its peek. Indicating to him that it was late afternoon. The young man groggily got up and rubbed his head and stretched out. "Alright...I'm up...I'm up.." he mumbled, scratching the back of his head. 0 players like this post! Like? |
