 What are Caudatis?Caudatis are a species that are similar in looks to foxes. They, however, have two tails instead of one, larger eyes and ears and are bigger than usual fox. Their colours are usually orange, brown, grey, white and black and they come with various markings. Their eyes have no pupils. Caudatis are very rare and only recently they have been found. Until now, everyone thought they are just a myth. Caudatis are usually very calm and easy to tame, but some are fierce and very aggresive. They are good with other animals and humans and seem to be intelligent. They are also mostly tricksters and like to fool everyone around. They are like a link between foxes and kitsunes, and some seem to have magical powers. It is not confirmed though. Even being easy to tame, caudatis are not very keen to breed in captivity. Thus further research is needed. Sometimes, a rare colour caudatis is found. There are no informations of how they get bright colour or vibrant markings,or sometimes even markings of other animals - like frogs or okapis. They just... happen to have those. A new base has came! Every new Cauda will be made on the new one :) DECORATIONS arrived! Some new caudatis will have randomly added small decors. A decor shop will be open soon for all the caudatis already purchased! Captured caudatisWe have some caudatis that we captured! They do not seem to feel good surrounded by all our research stuff... Also, by buying them, you would help us to understand this species better! Minimum increase is not set and please, do not make me change my mind on that. Genetics will have use mostly in breedings! Also, if you buy caudatis you CAN change its magic abilities at your own, so don't worry! AUCTION FOR LEGEND   Versions without plants: Night Day We were so surprised when we found that one. At first we thought it was wearing all the plants, but it seems they are growing straight from its body. It has a very strong, independend character, but maybe you will be able to tame it? Okay! Since you have unlocked not one, not two, but four tiers have been unlocked, I need to urgently update this species thread! So, things are as follows: 1. The Genes Shown Tier As you can see, the newest batch of caudatis has things such as mutations and abilities written under their caption. If you want to know what are the traits of your previously bought caudatis just write here and I will post their traits here! Some of those traits will affect the look of the caudatis itself, some will only have effects of future children. It is all explained IN THIS GOOGLE DOCUMENT Changelog and tiers unlocking will be moved to google document too to make space for other things! 2. Decors Tier The caudatis in the newest batch randomly have a decor that suits their looks! I will add a post for decor buying for all those who want their caudatis that do not yet have decors to have them! Pre-prepared decors will be dirt cheap (around 50-100sb for a decor), but there will also be otion to order decor for yourself, and for those price might be higher and depending on complexity. 3. Custom Caudati Tier I haven't made a post for it yet, but you CAN already order a custom caudatis! A custom caudatis will have two versions: a) caudatis version of already existing character - cheaper, but you will have to provide me a ref sheet and you won't be allowed to breed your caudatis. I can add mutations that suit your character best and stack them. b) caudati designed specifically for you - if you provide me theme, palette or example markings, I will make you a custom caudati. For additional price I will add them one common or uncommon mutation (probably random one, thinking about it) Those designed for you caudatis will be more expensive, but you will be able o breed. For now I think about price of 5gb for version of existing character and 15gb or more for caudati designed, depending on complexity. 4. The Secret Tier I really was not expecting to get this much GB from this, I'm really thankful to all of you for your support and that you like the species! @Stone We have checked your caudati! It is very healthy - you caudati has no mutations or sicknesses! They however have a magical power it seems - they can warp between the dimensions! Haha, we'll see :D To be honest I really can't wait for the breeding tiers to open and I might do it before the tier unlocks if I find time! Here are the traits of your caudati: At first we thought your caudati is sick, but its fluffy tufted tail seems to be an uncommon mutation! Since they have no different bases for genders and I don't want you all to pay just to change gender I will just ask a person to pick which parent is which gender at the first breeding and it will be noted and not possible to change after that :) Noted the bid! 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Trickster Noted! I'm happy you like them ^^ @Oblivions This one is visibly mutated. As it appears this mutation is rare! It's fish fins large! Besides that it seems to be in perfect health. It also can control the waves of water! Decor shop and custom caudati shop has been added!
