She had not intended to come here. It was beneath her to meddle in the affairs of mortals who dealt with political affairs. She had a Family to lead. But his presence called her and she could spare the time.

The teeth-lined maw opens as Krii Lun Aus sits, licking away the blood of her last victim. A poacher who dared to target one of her Sisters. He was not long for this world...and she relished his screams. Intense blood eyes watched every monarch in the room, watching the veiled forms of her Initiates who shadowed her to learn. Watch them. Learn them. She was a being of death and there was none whom she feared.

But the King who addressed her held every ounce of her respect and devotion. For he was her sire into this world. And there was none other she would bow to.

"I believe they are pointless, Father."

Her voice is as cold as death, but for her Family it is warm and soothing.

"There was...potential. If the colors of the Aedric cowards are of any clue. But when the sickly green around the eyes make them look older than the vile woman who dares call herself the Night Mother...any potential it might have had was lost. It would take great convincing to leave them in my pride. I would chase them the moment they are weaned."

The respect in her eyes faded as she turned to the next monarch, glancing at them with disinterest.

"How do you align yourself? Would you walk with those who value 'good karma' and stray from dark deeds? Or are you as I am...and all shall fall to your teeth and claws. Without conscious and reveling in their death?"

The King sitting beside Krii Lun Aus nodded, his stare was intense and vigilant and it seemed as if he had been listening to every single word the leaders before him said

“Ulysses is my name”
He grinned boldly. Putting his paw on his chest as he answered
“I don’t believe in such things as karma, I do what is necessary for my pride to thrive under my rule and Apedemak’s word.” He shrugged

“Just yesterday I found out my bride’s true opinions that opposed my leadership, of all things cruel and unjust in the world outside why me?” The king exhaled sharply, rolling his eyes “She ran off east once I reprimanded her by a friendly debate she was not so fond of.” Ulysses unsheathed a claw, looking down at it as he added to his speech “She’ll turn up eventually, but I have noticed one of my lionesses has been sneaking off midday. If karma is as real as myself and the leaders surrounding me, I’m on the wrong end of it.”

“Speaking of other leaders, I saw a new face..”
He turned towards the next lion beside him
“ You won’t mind a question, would you?”
“… Of course you wouldn’t mind!”
“What do you value most in your subject’s skills, speed, or strength? Full details if possible.”

Ember mane looking startled slowly starts speaking:
" I mist admit that you caught me off-gaurd... I am actaully back from a meeting with my lionesses and subs.." He sighs and sits down.

" I would never mind a question. I value skills over most if not all other attributes. The reason therefor is, you may have speed or strength, but without the skills on how to use those attributes effectively they are useless."
He smirked " I rely on smarts, speed and stamina as I will be able to run fast and far with a plan in mind. Besides I have two strong subs and one in training if I ever need to start a fight. And if they fail I have 37 loyal lionesses willing to lay down their lives for me."
He lies down happy with his answer.

He looks around and finally looks at another ruler:
" How do you normally handle cubs you do not want or like? Do you chase them? Send them to the nature reserve? Take their life? Abondon them to a tree? Do you sell them? Or do yoh adopt them out? Oh! And I want to know the reasoning behind your thought process please!"
The 'please' is followed by a creepy smile.

Jask looks to Embermane, and pauses for a moment. Their large wings fold around them as they think of their answer. Finally, their soft voice speaks.

“Regardless of how a cub looks when it is born into my pride, I always want them to have a chance to find a good home. For most of my cubs, I will deliver them to the tree once they are old enough, so they can find new prides that will hopefully treasure them as much as I do, for all my cubs are special to me. There have been a few, however, that I have sold in the trading center, due to them having mutations or special bases, or rosettes. I actually don’t mind selling rather than giving them to the tree, because when I sell my cubs, I know the next pride will cherish them. After all, lions tend to treasure something more when they’ve given up something to obtain it”

They look around, their green, almost reptilian gaze landing on the next ruler. “With tonight being the last night of March, I’m sure you must already be preparing for the April event. That being said, what is your favorite part of the upcoming event? Is it the stat items, the event lionesses, the fluffball decors….” Jask pauses, a cheeky smile on their face before they say their next words: “Or maybe you’ve taken a liking to Wenet, and you’d like for her to join you? Tell me, no judgement here!” They finish with a slight chuckle.

Lunastar joins the circle, taking the place of Orchidstar before. He smiles at the rest of the leaders, grateful to have a place in the circle. Then, Lunastar considers Jask’s question carefully.

“Personally, I am indifferent to this event. Despite it only being the first day, and my first event as King, I quite enjoy Wenet’s quests. It breaks the regular day-to-day events of pride life.” The ferus pauses, smirking to himself, “The possibility of welcoming her into my pride is also intriguing, I have to admit. Other than that though, my lionesses love the floral decor that is available to purchase.”

Lunastar turns to the next leader and asks, “Are you a friend of the fluffballs? Or do you openly hunt them like my pride does?”

Igneous yawned, sunning his fur on a large rock, he sits up and puffs out his chest as if to make himself look intimidating and confident. His green eyes flickered with amusement.
"Lions friends with fluffballs? Hah! What a joke, those lions must have bees in their brain! I make use of the stupid rodents and hunt them, at the very least they'll feed my lionesses!" Igneous could hardly contain his laughter.

"Hmph, I've heard of humans making music and songs. Do you or a pridemate listen to them, if you do, what song is your favorite?" Igneous tilted his head before looking away, as if embarrassed about his enjoyment of the subject.

Afelis tilted his head to the side, a curious expression on his face. "No, I have not listened to any of those human creations, but I've met a few lionesses in the past that have explained a bit about it to me. It's quite an interesting thing in my opinion. Humans are such strange creatures."

Afelis turned his gaze to the next king/queen.

"What is your opinion on Wenet? I personally think she's a strange one, but I appreciate her confidence in her goals."

The Fallen One of Vita let out a low laugh, shaking his head almost imperceptibly. “While I don’t get such indiscriminate slaughter, I will not spread malice without knowing what is inside of her heart.” He sat down, a faraway look in his eyes as he spoke with a vague smile. “There is no individual without blood on their paws, I am quite obviously no exception. Whether it be for survival, hunger, righteous authority or even malice.. This is not a world that bases itself off of black and white ideals.” The Fallen One lowers his gaze, “I do hope she finds fulfillment in wherever this path takes her.”

He narrowed his eyes in a kind smile as he looked towards the next king/queen in line. “Does your current path differ from what you envisioned as a youth? Tell me about yourself.”

Amazonite was sitting next to a large white furred horse, licking her paws. She sighed and looked up at The Fallen one. The question getting her blue eyes to spark with interest as she began to speak.
"Ah, that's a long story. Let's see... I was originally gonna be a normal huntress, but as I grew up, I had this burning desire as I saw Igneous grow weaker and older. He hadn't picked a heir yet, so I gathered the pride and we had a little....'talk.' And now I'm the queen of this pride." She flicked her ears, being incredibly confident about her words. That much she inherited from Igneous.

"Hmm, you! I've got a question, what are your thoughts on animals other than lions, could be leopards or zebras. I don't mind what animal you choose to discuss."

Xenopeltidae perked up at the question and quickly snapped their head over to Amazonite with pure happiness in their eyes "well, im glad you asked" Xenopeltidae sat up from where they were taking a nap and thought for a bit for which animal they should talk about. "i think reptiles are such amazing and interesting animals, you can get them in a variety of colors and sizes. even with geckos you can get one that only stay about the size of your claw, maybe even smaller. or you can get one that grows to be almost 3 or 4 times the size of your paw. i should probably stop myself before i keep rambling"

Xenopeltidae looks over to the next ruler with disinterest "how about your pride? is there any meaning behind their names?"

"I usually let the females name them but when me and Luxers found Klude I named him after the ice cold stare he gives. After that I named all the males after the vibe they give off. Of course they're better than the names the lionesses gave them. Once I named a male Bobcat, turns out that male was a female so that was my only time I named a lioness"

Wimbo looks around and points at the next ruler "You! What do you think you're life would be life if you had remained a nomad or stayed a pride member?"

Raate pauses before answering, caught in memories of his youth days before king. ''I would be fallen in guilty if I refused to rule. King Djur, The Heavenly, chose to mentor me for a reason, and I would hate to disappoint him, even though he's no longer here anymore.'' He shakes his mane, in a attempt to wipe any tear away from his face.

''How do you feel about the leader that preceded you? Do you think you're doing better than them, or are you the starter of your pride?'' Raate sits down and turn his head to the back, toward the next ruler.

"Im the starter of my pride, and I hope those after me will treat it just as well or better then I have" (The terribly named) King hummed, closing his eyes wondering if he could see the future kings if he tried hard enough, before sighing and turning to the next king.

"What if your favorite eye color to see appear in cubs? Will you actively chase that eye color?"

Agambir was like lying on the ground, he had shaken his head at what some of the others had said, it made parts of his mane move. He was old now and could retire right now, but he was still strong and mighty and still felt about as great as he did in younger years. He remembered some back then days. There was a pause from his patient self before he answered. ..."I am the first king of my pride." He blinked slowly without aggression and looked around in front of him in a short range.

Perhaps he had waited a bit too long, and had not spoken very loudly. But he agreed with the lion, he too wanted the kings after him in his pride to rule well, and was thinking of adding that in his answer.

He looked around to see if any other lions spoke up. Should he answer the question? "Hmm, I don't really have a certain color I'm chasing after to have most of my pride have, but I like amber-brown colors." he answered without a long pause beforehand.

"What's something you want to complete before you retire?" He asked.

"Hmm, I'd like to breed a ferus into my pride. Their body shapes are absolutely divine. And their raw unmatched power against humans could be useful... In some cases." Amazonite suddenly spoke up, while she said that now, she was quite young still and had a long time to decide what she'd like to do.
