"I've rarely had the luxury but I tend to favor fish, or more pointedly, shark. The taste is a plus but I enjoy more than anything the way it feels sinking my fangs into the rubbery flesh."

A new face entered the lands of many. His eyes narrowed, he was with a shadow it seemed. "Look at all this filth Nightmare.. makes me sick...unless of course..someone has the same mindset as me. Then respect given..." He gave a snarl and Nightmare replied.

"There are a few Bantos...as far as my senses goo.." Nightmare hummed in his ear, a sick grin on his face as his usual.

Bantos huffed and a voice sounded, it sounded like a question. He walked over and stared down the smaller king. "Territory..? I prefer a dark place filled with lions who do my bidding..They would hunt outside my lands for food..of course Outlands have no food. We'd break the rules.." A sick grin came to his face as he raised a claw to the kings chin. "I live in a place where good goody two paws like you are killed off.." He swiped his paw down, leaving a tiny mark under the king's chin. He walked away with a huff, his voice now louder.

"Now let me ask all you lowlifes a question. Why do so many of you follow such stupid traditions and rules. What's the point hm? What traditions are there to even follow anymore?! What rules?! Prides have been following goody goody two paw rules for so long.. If you could change that, what you do? What would you DO if you could change your rules?!" He snapped before huffing and walking off.

(Long reply. The question pretty much is, if you could change any traditions or pride rules, what would you change and why)

Despite the annoyance burbling beneath his pelt, Salim held a steady, dignified gaze that locked with the mountain of muscular fur's own gaze. Barely a flinch was portrayed even in the midst of being gifted a small wound; whether that was foolhardy or not, the clearly physically inadequate lion would die before he let anyone belittle him & walk away. "Do no presume to know me, you oversized lout." His voice bellowed calmly, narrowing his gaze. "I'm not certain of what rules or traditions you speak of... but I only do what is best for those that live amongst us. Where the weak suffer, I step forward & give them strength. Which is clearly a notion you lack, though I suppose not much can be done for an inciting egoist." He paused, lashing his tail. "Only a fool seeks to create chaos where there is peace." Salim growled, doing no more than watching the large figure disperse to a safe distance before turning his own back. As far as he was concerned, the faster this barbaric creature left, the better.

With a quick turn, Bantos walked back. "First off tiny.. I'm no oversized lout...I'm an oversized lion who can kick your sorry ass into the ground with one swipe of a paw...you wanna see some scars? Fine, I'll show you some scars.." His voice was low and very intimidating. He lifted a paw and pointed to his right eye. "This was earned in a fight with 3 HYena's when I was barely an adolescent..and this.." He turned some and showed a scar on his back, very large, with a huge patch of fur missing. "This was earned when I was just a cub. I had been pushed into a boiling hot geyser only seconds before boiling hot pressurised water flung me into the air. And you wanna know what I did to the lion who did it..? I slashed their throat with one claw in their sleep the next night.."

Bantos turned and walked a ways away. "On the subject of murder.." He turned once again. "Does anyone have any INTERESTING murder stories? I would LOVE to hear one..to lighten the mood.." Bantos grinned, and Nightmare give a sickening chuckle.

Icarus, who had been watching from the sidelines up to this point, suddenly spoke. "I murdered one of my own daughters when she was very young. It was quite interesting, actually, to see how she reacted to my betrayal of her trust. She was, simply put, a nuisance, and I had tired of her; I ended up ripping her throat out because her incessant talking had driven me insane. Her mother seemed not to care either. It was quick but not painless. I rather enjoyed it." His voice was quiet, but laden with a sickly indifference. The piebald king seemed to consider something for a moment before piping up again.

Cú Chulainn pondered the question while swishing his long tail from side to side. His icy blue eyes narrowed in thought. It wasn't something he had thought about in great detail prior to being asked. He cleared his throat. "Heritage does not matter very significantly to me, now I think of it." He sunk into thought again, a light tone of curiosity leaking into his voice when he spoke once more.

"well, I'm kind of new to this king business, so I haven't had much experience with costs, but keeping them in line and such has cost me mentally. its a new tradition in our pride that we don't change anyone's looks, genders or anything else, we also keep buying at a minimum."

slicu paused to think

"i might have more to say about the topic in other years, but as of now the lion Nim has cost me most. I had to get her after she ran away which cost me beetles and mental stability".

slicu scoffed

Princess Leia groomed a paw elegantly. "I rather like celestial speckles and vitiligo markings. In our pride, we believe a lion has been blessed by the stars has he one of those."

Her soft green eyes trained on you, she asked the question. "Have you been fortunate enough to breed or own a cub with a lethal genetic mutation?"

Icarus blinked, lowering his head. "Unfortunately, my lionesses have yet to birth a lethal mutation into our pride." The young king perked up a little, "However, we have managed to bring a lethal into our pride through other methods." He spoke vaguely."A little one-eyed boy named Ahtahka. Immortal within our pride. Don't be fooled by his weak appearance, he's a god amongst us." The king explained eagerly.

Suddenly, he stopped himself. "Oh! I have to ask a question too!" He shook his head apologetically, "Hm... does your pride have any stories they like to pass around, whether real or not? I'd love to hear."

King Carnage chuckles darkly, looking far off into the distance with a fond expression. "Do we have any stories you ask? Why yes, we do. The girl's still whisper about a long lost heir, a son of the once Kind and gentle Aroma Mocha. Unsure what the boy's name was..." A lone cub wanders up, timidly and shyly tries to seek attention from it's 'father'. A snarl rips out King Carnage's throat and he bares his teeth at the little whelp. The poor thing screams and runs. "Annoying things....Anyway, yada yada yada, the lost heir is suppose to return and claim his rightful place as King. Load of hogwash in my opinion. Aroma Mocha never sired any really potential cubs from what his old Queens tell me. Not much potential." Carnage carries on to pick a sliver of fur out from between his teeth. The fur looks eerily lion like.

"Oh, excuse me, questions, right. How do you act when other Kings approach on your territory? I know that one King's kid is seriously annoying." The word 'annoying' is accompanied by a hungry glint in King Carnage's eye and a lick of the teeth.

King One Night Only gives King Carnage a disapproving look. He puffs out his chest, doing his best to look presentable beside this beautifully decorated piebald king. He's rather intimidated, but has the composure not to show it. "I welcome that king into my land, and invite his young, adorable cub - should he have any - to play with my own cubs. I discuss whatever might be on everyone's mind with him. For instance, I might discuss the sudden appearance of a large number of tigers and the rabies epidemic going around. And then I graciously walk him - and his cub - back to the border and wish them all the best luck." He nods, as if reviewing everything he said in his mind.

"And now, a question. How, may I ask, do you treat your lionesses? As equals, with their own personalities, hopes, and dreams? Or perhaps you treat them as objects - bred without a second thought as to what they want and then cast aside?"

King Icarus looked slightly disturbed at the fellow king's question. "I love and adore every lioness in my pride. They're not only my equals, but without them, I wouldn't have much of a pride at all. Each of them has their own personality, hopes, dreams, experiences, and roles to play within my pride. I respect each of them, and if I were to meet a king who didn't respect his own lionesses, I would find it my pride's duty to free those lionesses from an unfair life."

Ruffling his fur slightly, he shifted and glanced over his shoulder, thinking for a moment. "On the subject of lionesses, who's your favorite? And is your favorite lioness dependent on her personality, her history, her appearance, her stats, or whether or not she has a mutation?" He questioned. He didn't have a favorite lioness, personality, he loved all his wives so much that it was impossible to decide who he loved the most. He did have a favorite lion, though, his husband... despite how much the two seemed to argue, recently.

Princess Leia's face spread into a broad smile. Her eyes lit up. "I tell my pride in don't have favourites... but between you and me, I favour Jyn and Qi'Ra, for their personalities, mutations, and, well.. I hope one or both of them will be my queen. They keep my heart beating."
