Hnnng, i'm conflicted right now.

I absolutely suck at making characters. Aleister is supposed to be confused, irritated, and possibly dangerous- but he's just sounding like an angsty, childish teenager on his form. Or sheet, as you guys call it here. I was really hyped- but now I realise my writing ability is terrible.

Well, he's a hellhound/shapeshifter hybrid. And idk for sure, but I'm going with 'hellhounds don't have discernible genders' so he technically doesn't have any gender characteristics in hound form, but in human form he is male, so he goes by male pronouns.
Imma just copy & paste the abilities I put down for him~
- Legend says that if someone is to stare into the eyes of a Hellhound three times or more, that person will definitely die
- Seeing or hearing it howl may also be either an omen of death or even a cause of death
- Enhanced physicality (strength, speed, stamina, endurance, durability, agility)
- Enhanced senses (hearing, sight - night vision, smell, taste??)
- Constantly heated body
- Hellfire manipulation
- Fear inducement (the user can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target’s brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. The victim’s perception may be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even seen as a monster)
- Can alter aspects of the appearance for short period of time.

Hmm.. that eye thing starting off the list seems a tad bit overpowered, but it is just a legend, and doesn't necessarily have to be true. I suppose the howl is kinda O.K- but I probably shouldn't of asked to advise you. Eden does this better than me. The other abilities seem alright.

I agree with Xolani on the eye thing, as long as its legend, and of course the howl can be an omen of death considering hellhounds mythology of bringing in damned souls (doesn't mean someone always dies though).
The fear inducement seems a little overpowered, so I'd add a weakness there, and maybe combine it with the appearance alteration?
i just think it needs some weaknesses to balance it out, other than that

Guys, I have an immortal dragon. You are fine, stop worrying about making your characters too powerful- the only thing off limits is time travel.

I love the howl idea, although I'm not sure how the eye thing would pan out- it would definitely cause issues, but work-arounds could be found. (Like glasses)

And Xo, go ahead, I like to see opinions, and as far as Aleister's sheet, we all know characters don't always come off as they do in their sheet- like my Avery. Have you heard any snark out of him? No. and I've been trying.

Hawk's idea for a weakness is good-

It's just in this world, no matter how powerful a being is, know that other being's fear and hate of them will increase with it. No matter how accepting the community is, who would welcome a creature who could induce their worst fear?

That's just my philosophy.
