Sup! A few fridays ago, staff implemented mane fails, so that mane passing is more complex (more annoying for some people). They said that Breed Only manes had the least chance of failing but seeing as these manes are already pretty hard to get, being breed only, I don't believe they should be failing at all. Tsavo, Savage, and Pariah should not have shape fails. Technically, Royal falls into this category as well (and seeing as it's made by forcing users to deal with some of the more unpopular manes, excepting maybe sideward, I wouldn't be opposed to removing fails for the Royal mane type either). Thanks if you support! If you don't, you don't need to leave an explanation, though it'd be nice to hear the opposition's points! |

@Bez, no I understand, I was explaining what I meant to someone else. I'd support a suggestion to tweak the genetics slightly, I just don't support removing fails altogether.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Then perhaps I don't understand what you mean by "breed smarter". There's no smarter breeding than same to same. Regardless, this actually would make me less likely to use Saltlicks. I had, at one point, planned on grabbing a few to finish converting all of my breeders to Tsavo, but since they'd be able to throw non-Tsavo cubs afterward, there's no reason. It'd be a waste of event currency that I could use to nab items that are worth more later. 0 players like this post! Like? |

For everyone making the argument that the manes make the cubs worth more - have you actually seen the cub market? Even Primal and Piebald cubs sell for less and less. I can't give away some of my special based cubs, much less find someone who cares about Tsavo manes other than me. Having the mane fails means a lot more hardship for those of us who don't play the lion market and keep to ourselves. I only keep my own cubs and ncls. Tsavo having a fail means I have less and less cubs I actually would like to keep. I support. 0 players like this post! Like? |
