I'm not sure if anyone has put this up yet but here goes: This is when the thyroid gland under-produces certain hormones. This under-production can result in the slowing down of metabolism. Basically, you can be affected in various ways such as weight gain, fatigue, appitite loss etc. Just imagine a chubby little lion or a sleepy looking one! (To get a slight idea of what i'm talking about google "chubby, sleepy tiger"/"chubby,sleepy lion") Anyway this would more likely be a letal since they wouldn't be able to hunt but I thought it would be nice if they could live with it. What do you think? If you vote no please explain why.(don't overdo it please) You don't have to say why on this thread you can send me a message! Fortunately i don't bite. :3 (i will FAIRLY defend myself though) P.S. People/Animals with the disease aren't guaranteed to gain weight and I don't mean to offend anyone that has this Illness |

No support, this is basically taking a disease that plenty of people struggle with and making and calling it cute. As stated before it doesn't always cause weight gain. It is somewhat offensive to take a serious disease and call it cute. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Its not a mutation, but a disease but support anyway cause I want obese lions. Maybe it can be called something else? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Diabetes causes obesity in cats. But dunno if thats a mutation, its a disease I think. Might be by inheriteness and/or bad diet? 0 players like this post! Like? |

To quote the first post "I was thinking that lions affected by this illnesswould be really cute!" And "I just thought they would look so cute!" Plus multiple people voicing support have shown they want this because they think it's cute and want 'chubby' lions with cute poses without any or much negative impact. So yes, it is being called cute. The point of an illness being put into a game shouldnt be 'it'd be cute' not only because, as a few people with hypothyroidism have said, it's offensive, but also because illnesses and disabilities are a serious issue and shouldnt be taken lightly. Not to mention that weight gain isn't the only symptom and doesnt always happen. 0 players like this post! Like? |

They are not calling the disease itself cute, They are only voicing that they think a chubby lion would look cute, Or a sleepy lion. I in no way think the disease is cute, But i think a chubby cub would be. 0 players like this post! Like? |

At least in cats hyperthyroidism causes weight loss not gain, im not sure how it would effect a lion though. But the effect in cats certainly would shorten the life span if it were unmedicated 0 players like this post! Like? |
