This RP was created by myself and the ever amazing Bumblehugh (#65260).

It goes without saying that Bumble has equal say in what's decided, accepted or rejected within this RP and or the applications for characters. Feel free to PM either one of us with any questions or inquiries. However, please note that if we don't get back to you, the green dot occasionally lies and we do have other things to do.

Some Updates:

Okay, so after a little more of a talk with Bumble, we've formulated a potential start-point for this RP and are heavily considering starting either tomorrow or Monday depending on thoughts from you guys. The starting point, to summarise for those you have not seen the film yet, will take place a day after a conversation between Owen and Claire that leads to the two of them deciding to go Isla Nublar. (Keeping things vague to avoid them spoils, yo'). And within said starting point, the characters you have chosen/created will all be either on the plane or preparing to board, assisting with things etc. allowing for introductions and whatnot.

Now it should be said that those 'against' the dinosaurs should not reveal themselves if they're against them in the way the movie shows. A character coming to the Island with the pretense of 'Oh I decided to see them before I give my opinion' when they're actually against them is fine, and the pretense is one possible excuse you should use. Any 'true' motives should only be revealed on the Island ;D

With that said, there will be a number of basecamps to choose from before the group decides to join forces, as it were, and sides will vote on whose based where. For example, a tropical storm has drastically damaged the boats, but they aren't sunk, which provides Shelter and salvage. Jurassic World may be in ruins, but some of the buildings seem stable enough to offer the same, while the original park is further into the Island, perhaps the same could be applied there also. It's a risk, are you going to take it?

NOTICE: It should be added that Bumble is going to be away for July as she's visiting some family, she can't promise that she'll be too active for that reason, but she'll be able to toss in Claire a lot more once she's back. There may be a possibility she could be active, we don't know yet, neither of us can foresee the future. So, your understanding there is appreciated!

With that in mind, as Bumble has done, for the sake of others it would be appreciated and convenient for a 'heads up' if something comes up or you no longer wish to be a part of this.

The purpose of this post was so that the rest of you may weigh in on when we should start and whether or not the mentioned starting point was okay for/with everybody else, so feel free to voice any issues or ideas you may have! I'll be reposting this to the first post on the first page, too <3

Really, the lists I made were mainly naming a generalised spectrum of carnivores and attempting to name what I'd seen across films past and previous, there was bound to be some I missed ;D

UPDATE: If you claim a Dinosaur, claiming a human character would also be appreciated, to stop an influx of dinosaurs. This is now rule #5 on the thread, for reasons listed below -

It has occurred to me that because the Dinosaur list is much longer than actual canon characters, an influx of Dinosaurs with only a few people here and there would not make for a very interesting RP. Mentions don't need to be constant, but interactions here and there are as highly appreciated as taking on a human character would be.

Male also, as demonstrated by my Dilophosaurus demonstrates, whom was female but became male when younger female Dilphosaurus' matured. As mentioned in both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, the incomplete sections of Dinosaur DNA was filled in with the DNA of frogs, whom like Clown Fish, are capable of undergoing a sex change instead of finding a new mate.

For example, if the mate of a male Clown Fish dies, the male becomes a female instead of finding another female, and pairs up with a single male. While Dinosaurs of course do not possess this ability, those in the Jurassic Park franchise do, and change when the population of females overcrowd.
