Sorry for the lack of responses, the UK timezone rather sucks when compared with others, so allow me to get to addressing you all ;D

@Typhon - Of course, we'd be thrilled to have you! Granted I haven't quite worked out how the Indoraptor could come into it as the majority of the RP will take place before....You-know-what, occurs to Isla Nublar. I'm open to any suggestions you may have, currently I'm musing over eventually having the group get off, but that begs the question as to what would happen after the events at Lockwood Estate. (Please PM me with suggestions, we wouldn't wanna spoil for those that haven't seen ;D). Otherwise, leave it with me and I'll get to brainstorming ^^

@Lostpelt - Mhm, though I will ask that your combinations don't get *too* OP, y'know? For example, combining the Spinosaurus and another large and lethal carnivore wouldn't be the best idea when it comes to characters having to deal with that. So I'd suggest maybe the Spinosaurus being mixed with traits of an animal/traits of the large and lethal?

For example, it could have the colouration and poisonous secretion of a poisonous dart/tree frog. Or, if you were to combine say Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, have the Spinosaurus be predominantly that, but with a slightly different ccolouration and be bigger than the average, maybe with sight that like the Rex, was based on movement.

With the exception of overpowering dinosaurs, you're completely free to do whatever wish as long as the artwork is properly credited, colour variations are super neat!

Nope, just go right on ahead into sheets and after reading the rules and whatnot if you haven't already, you should find the application form ^^

And it depends as to which film you refer. The newest 'granddaughter' is Maisie, Lex was John Hammond's granddaughter and one of the children of the original Park, Tim being her brother. Of course now they're all grown up.

Mhm, she would be, if not slightly older. That gives a lot of creativity as to what you can imagine she went on to do and become; for example I had Tim dabble in Zoo-keeping and veterinary work, returning to Jurassic World and still retaining his dinosaur passion in spite of what happened both then and in 2015.

Maisie is available so if you'd like I'll mark you down, and after checking Lex is also.

I'd say round-a-about, yeah, her age is never distinctly given but Tim was eleven in Jurassic Park and the two strike me as similar, so its an age that works.

Some Updates:

Okay, so after a little more of a talk with Bumble, we've formulated a potential start-point for this RP and are heavily considering starting either tomorrow or Monday depending on thoughts from you guys. The starting point, to summarise for those you have not seen the film yet, will take place a day after a conversation between Owen and Claire that leads to the two of them deciding to go Isla Nublar. (Keeping things vague to avoid them spoils, yo'). And within said starting point, the characters you have chosen/created will all be either on the plane or preparing to board, assisting with things etc. allowing for introductions and whatnot.

Now it should be said that those 'against' the dinosaurs should not reveal themselves if they're against them in the way the movie shows. A character coming to the Island with the pretense of 'Oh I decided to see them before I give my opinion' when they're actually against them is fine, and the pretense is one possible excuse you should use. Any 'true' motives should only be revealed on the Island ;D

With that said, there will be a number of basecamps to choose from before the group decides to join forces, as it were, and sides will vote on whose based where. For example, a tropical storm has drastically damaged the boats, but they aren't sunk, which provides Shelter and salvage. Jurassic World may be in ruins, but some of the buildings seem stable enough to offer the same, while the original park is further into the Island, perhaps the same could be applied there also. It's a risk, are you going to take it?

NOTICE: It should be added that Bumble is going to be away for July as she's visiting some family, she can't promise that she'll be too active for that reason, but she'll be able to toss in Claire a lot more once she's back. There may be a possibility she could be active, we don't know yet, neither of us can foresee the future. So, your understanding there is appreciated!

With that in mind, as Bumble has done, for the sake of others it would be appreciated and convenient for a 'heads up' if something comes up or you no longer wish to be a part of this.

The purpose of this post was so that the rest of you may weigh in on when we should start and whether or not the mentioned starting point was okay for/with everybody else, so feel free to voice any issues or ideas you may have! I'll be reposting this to the first post on the first page, too <3
