i already voted my support, but that German actually looks very similar to a hyena to me— the only huge visible difference is the hyena's higher head placement, but the body itself looks very similar

I have No Supported this for a while, but never gave my reason..
First, I really disagree with a lion "looking like a hyena"... that wouldn't make any sense. Just because it has a hunched back doesn't mean it suddenly looks like a hyena.
If you want a spine-related mutation, then make it realistic please. "Primals aren't realistic", reverting to a primal state is entirely possible, and through breeding can cause it to happen, however it happening suddenly isn't so realistic I agree (I never liked the idea of Primals anyways).
Spine mutatoons/disorders aren't light. They're big issues that can easily kill an animal/human, and the main reason why an animal will survive with one is because of human care.

Here are some symptoms of spinal disorders: Partial/Full paralysis, muscle spasms, locking of the jaw, difficulty swallowing, lesions, and much more (these aren't all for birth defect, as spinal disorders can be caused by many, many different reasons, like infections or trauma).
All of this would kill a lion that lives in the wild.

If this was for a spinal disorder that is more realistic, then I could support.
But just because the only reason that this was created was to make a hyena-looking lion... I just can't support that no matter how much of a similar skeletal structure a lion and hyena may have.

Honestly, support. Anytime someone brings up "realism", I have to chuckle. If this game was realistic, we wouldn't have all the cool events and bases. Don't see the harm in this at all, and I love your concept art. <3

I saw this and I thought it was really cool! I have a extra bone in my back, and it's hard for me to do some things, I'd love to have a little Lioden mutie to relate to kind of. And take what I say with a grain of salt because I'm still kinda new.

I feel like the hyena markings should appear more often with this one, so it's not completely pointless in making the ears and stuff different. Maybe the ears and such should be a small chance in appearing with this one too? I'd love that! Plus, I think the thought of even having the events unrealistic should mean that we should have unrealistic mutie cuties too! We have so many unrealistic things in Lioden (from what I've seen) and I think it'd be only right to have some more. I also feel like we should have more hybirds anyway, more attention the hybirds! Again, take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm only going off of what I know, assume, and think. And yes, I'm aware this was made like... 2 years ago, but still, it needs some light. The more the merrier!


Edit: I believe this can be like a deaf mutation, where they could possibly get left behind and forgotten about during a event where they have to run away from a threat. Like a message could appear like

"Uh oh! [Cub] was too slow to catch up with the others when they were being chased by a [Animal, there's many that could be chosen.]!"

and such. [Sorry if this was already talked about and such, if so, I forgot.] I feel like their back would make it harder for them to run away from certain events and such, making them more like a deaf mutation.

If what I say is already spoken of, I'm sorry, I don't often pay attention the little things... But still, more light on this please!
