As the warrior was about to head towards the lake to try her paw at fishing, he dish-like audits swivelled, picking up on the sounds of voices. One of which was small and high-pitched, most likely a cub. A foreign scent intermixed with that of her Pride-mates, though it smelt matured. So perhaps a patrol found a cub and mother? Curious, Noxflare carried her catch for a little longer, before she could pick up the flashes of pelts between the trees. Pausing, she quietly buried the bird and continued on. Her small, lean stature helped her conceal herself in the undergrowth as she crept forwards, intent gaze sweeping the situation analytically. The caraval thought it wise to remain concealed, lest she need to race back to camp with a warning, or leap into a scuffle, or ambush the stranger, or-

She cut herself off, forcing her attention back on the scene. The she-cat identified Ashheart, the leopon standing over the hybrid cub, who Noxflare recognised as Raincub, and the cub's carer, the bay cat Sleepysoul, standing nearby with a mildly distraught expression on her generally drowsy features. The spotted warrior narrowed her eyes at the rude intruder, fur bristling. The cat was a primal lioness, who promptly made a last comment and waltzed away. Her claws gouged the earth as a hiss escaped her. How dare she walk away like a coward! Fight! Springing up, Noxflare emitted a yowl and launched herself after the primal lioness, leaping up over her head to land on her back. Fixing her claws into the ruff around the stranger’s neck, she growled and clung on. ”You shouldn’t have trespassed, how dumb are you, to cross MoonPride’s scent line?!” Noxflare cried out furiously, short tail lashing. The warrior prepared to leap to safety should the large she-cat try to roll over or crush her against a tree, muscles coiling in anticipation.

Recoiling at the serious question her mother posed, Addercub glanced at her paws. ”Um, yes…” she muttered quietly, almost mumbling. It was true, her gaze was blurry, but she could still make out shapes and colours with her right eye. It was just… a little impaired, was all. She hoped, at least. The cub feared that she would lose all sight when she was older. ’How will I ever become the strongest warrior in MoonPride if I can’t see my own paws?!’ she screeched internally, scraping the nest with her harmless claws. Curling her tail around her hind paws, she slowly looked up at her mother, Cypressstar. ”I don’t want to be a healer or an elder,” the young cub complained, ”I want to learn to fight! No matter what, I’m gonna be the best warrior MoonPride has ever seen!”

The leopon grumbled, your hunt? "This is MoonPride territory", the warrior said in a low voice, he doubted that the stranger even heard it. Ashheart looked over, as he noticed Sleepysoul come out of the camp. Stepping aside a bit, the warrior pushed Raincub to Sleepysoul with his paw. He was not very good with cubs, so he was glad the the Broodmother came to look for the little trouble maker. Looking back up, the warrior looked after the primal lioness, as she walked away. A growl came from the male leopon, he was definitely not going to let a stranger walkthrough pride territory and hunt their prey.
Looking back at Sleepysoul, the warrior nodded his head to the Broodmother and Raincub, "You two should head back to camp", the male advised. Turning on his heels, Ashheart walked after the primal lioness. As he neared the lake and the area where the stranger had stopped, Ashheart could see that the lioness was being attacked. "Noxflare!", the more senior warrior called. "Get off her!", the tom ordered, quickly walking over to them. He knew that the warrior had attacked the primal lioness, because she was on MoonPride territory, but Ashheart would rather chase the stranger out of MoonPrides territory. Stopping next to the two cats, Ashheart sat down and waited for Noxflar to get off.

Cypressstar tapped her son's nose with her paw, "Eyes can't brake dear", the queen purred, with a smile. She had never heard anyone put it that way before, it gave her a chuckle. The queen set her paw down, as she heard Addercubs answer. The mother looked to her daughter, a slightly concerned glint in her eyes now. "Don't worry, you'll become a great warrior", Cypresstar said, leaning down and pressing her cheek into Addercubs. "You both will", the leopon added, pulling her son closer. "Do you want to hear a secret?", the queen asked in a conspirative low voice, "Ashheart, your uncle, is actually blind in his right eye", the mother informed her cubs. "But don't tell anyone, he does not like to admit it", their mother added, with a chuckle. "Addercub, if you want, you could ask him to help you with your training", Cypressstar said, looking to Addercub.

Stormcub growled as he shook his hindquarters flicking his two tail-tipped tail as he watched the leaf he hung on a branch. as e watched it blow slowly in the wind he jumped at it grabbing it in his teeth as he tore it apart with his tiny claws. As he jumped with triumph he let out a sigh as he looked around the camp shuffling his paws as he licked himself trying to find something to do.

Stormcub looked around the camp trying to find something to break until he saw a fluffed up Raincub stumble out of some den. He smiled as he ran up to her at full speed before stopping at the last second and jumped around her. As he studied her he let out a purr as pushed his pink nose into her fur and said " hey Rain! What's wrong?" he said his long legs making him jump high up.

The large lioness hardly responded to her offensive manoeuvres, pretty much ignoring her. With a sharp, hissing growl, she leapt off neatly upon hearing Ashheart’s call. The tom was a senior warrior, after all. There was only a soft thump upon the earth as her dainty paws landed carefully on the sandy earth. Tail lashing, the scowling warrior glanced at the leopon, before glaring up at the rouge. ”You best believe yourself to be lucky you escaped without worse injuries.” the she-cat nodded curtly, as if pleased with herself, before backing off. She stepped back a few paces, narrowed eyes remaining locked on the other she-cat. Her hackles were raised, pelt prickling with open hostility.
