They cant do much as we have no identification on them. As that can be cruel. We may be starting some sort of identification though.But we sent photos of the goats to them. Not alot of livestock is recovered after it is stollen.

I think they took advenage of fair week. As thats when they started to disappear so I don't think they are comming back.

Just as a warning if you have livestock keep an eye on them. Or any pets, as some people can be horrible creatures.

Instead of tagging or branding, maybe you can do something like a necklace of sorts that has their ID number attached to it [Ex], or Freeze Branding like they do with mustangs. IDK how expensive that would be but I know that Freeze Branding can be less long-term painful. It causes white hair to grow in place of the brand instead of leaving a scar. Tattooing might be another relatively minimal pain option.

Birds have little bands around their legs, maybe something like that would work?

Nope, essentially a porch that's enclosed but has airflow through screens. Doors to outside, and inside are closed.

Maybe you can put up a razerwire fence, really strong floodlights might work too if you herd the livestock back up towards a barn, or your house- wherever you set up the floodlights.

Motion cameras would be a much cheaper option, floodlights- strong ones- are really good for scaring off both people and predators.

Good, We fought an aboleth and after looting, I got a nat 20. So I ended up walking away with a flying carpet.
