He's a very smol Parakeet! He's only about 15 cm tall, including his tail, which is 3 cm shorter than the average. He's just a tiny lad [he's 3 years old and done growing, but is fed a good diet and everything just small]. Budgerigar is the technical type rofl

He's one of the sky-blue variants, a very handsome little lad. He's molting tho and because I've only had him for 2 months he's still not super trusting of us [he steps up and likes being pet but he won't go more than a few feet away from his cage]. I'm trying to teach him to fly and stuff because he's really weak when it comes to it [about five seconds of flight and he has to stop panting]. He's my favorite though, he's a rescue of sorts [my cousin bought him for a classroom she only taught for a year and just had a baby and hadn't been socializing/caring for him like he needed so she gave him to me]. I've wanted a bird for... like three years now so it's really an exciting thing for me!!

Aww, he's so pretty. He's definitely lucky to have come to you, I hope you get him to regain his confidence and flying strength.
I have a little green budgie, so I definitely get what you meant, when you said that he was being too loud before. He was also sort of a resque (My mom found him in the outdoor enclosure of our chicken coop one day), so he was really shy and not trusting at first. What really helped me in gaining his trust and getting him to have more confidence in himself though, was to know what his favorite food was.

Ahhh how cute! We're still working on finding his favorite foods, but I'm hoping that bananas do the trick <3

My little guy's favorite foods are Letus, Millet, and Noodles. If you want, you could see if he likes any of those too. We've owned several budgies in the past and I've found that most of them like Letus and/or Millet.

Ooo, interesting! I'll give both a try! His name is Mr. Bird [literally]. He's 3 and he knows his name which means I can't change it w/o his understanding of me dropping [right now he reacts when I say his name], so I'm sticking w/ it! Kiwi is adorable as well :o

Mr.Bird? Very original? But as long as he likes it and reacts to it, when you call him, it doesn't really matter. Kiwi is around 4 right now. He only got really close to me around the beginning of this year, even though I've had trying to get him to warm up to me ever since I got him 4 years ago.
This is a picture of him, I barely have any cause he's always running (very funny to watch him waddle) or flying around.

We got him from the auction. I think he's 3-4 months.

As for a name its a toss up.

Either Pork chop (my d&d characters pigs name) or Gilbert.
