Some time tomorrow, most likely around the evening (LDT as usual), new recipes for Locust Wing crafting will appear in the Monkey Business crafting area! They will include two Applicators: one for special locust-inspired markings with two new unique marking shapes (Ghost Feralis and Inverted Quagga, which will appear in future in usual colours), and a matching one for a Red Medium Solid Common base called Locust. We didn't really plan on releasing a new base at first, but as it was already created for the markings (just like Cloudburst), we thought some of you may enjoy the actual base itself. The design is inspired by gregarious locust colours, and we hope it will add something fun and new to do with the Locust Wings you guys find during the September event!

That's a lot for just a base but it's pretty cool nonetheless! Looking forward to trying it all put in the wardrobe when everything is uploaded (unless it already is, idk, my phone doesn't play nicely with the wardrobe) Also, harbinlions would be awesome, he has such a cool design haha. Fix locust base. It's supposed to be a red medium solid special as it is an applicator base. From the newspost for the base genetic update: "Special" bases are what those difficult-to-breed bases are now categorised as. These include applicator, non-common combo, and raffle-exclusive bases such as Cairngorm, Celestial, Haze, Lilac, Orchid, Pulsar, etc. Locust is a craftable app and as such, should be special, not a common. Admin Response: You are always welcome to make a suggestion on our Game Development forums if you feel that a base was placed in the wrong genetics category. "Locust" was made a Common base, as we're quite fond of the idea of a Common applicator base. As well, we do have non-special combo bases. 0 players like this post! Like? |
