Some time tomorrow, most likely around the evening (LDT as usual), new recipes for Locust Wing crafting will appear in the Monkey Business crafting area! They will include two Applicators: one for special locust-inspired markings with two new unique marking shapes (Ghost Feralis and Inverted Quagga, which will appear in future in usual colours), and a matching one for a Red Medium Solid Common base called Locust. We didn't really plan on releasing a new base at first, but as it was already created for the markings (just like Cloudburst), we thought some of you may enjoy the actual base itself. The design is inspired by gregarious locust colours, and we hope it will add something fun and new to do with the Locust Wings you guys find during the September event!

Tbh not a fan of the new base and markings. It feels like they match up too much with sunrise and ruffian colors, and the back and quarter spottings.. I hope bases in the future don't follow this trend. I'm excited to see what becomes of the harbinger line of things, definitely enjoying that! The new base looks like a sunset base with brown/tan markings on the back and some really cool (wish they existed) onyx marking. I feel like the Ruffian base would have fit in so much better with the locust theme then in the last one (it's colors just remind more of famine). The Locust Markings I'm not a fan of either. I honestly can't even see the markings other then what's on the legs and under belly and what little is on the haunches. Maybe that's the point. But it sure makes it hard see what it looks like. 0 players like this post! Like? |
