Okay, so I'm probably behind the curve as always. But Beastars you guys!

As a rule, I avoid "furry" stuff, and high school dramas, and tbh anime with rabid fanbases >.>. Cuz the gimick "what if high school ... but animals!" hardly appeals to me. I've been outta school too long. And gdi, why are they even animals (lookin' at you Zootopia)?

Shit though, this actually uses animal characters effectively! And I really think placing it anywhere besides an integrated boarding school would have done it a disservice.

Here on site I'm usually existing in a vague state of "have all the plans, wait what were my plans again?"
I'm a hard mode player, but mostly because I like having clean lines and short/no heritage lions. I'm also a Cloudburst Breeder, and owner of the Cloudy Skies cloudburst clan. We're very small but I'm mostly excited to be spreading the love of the cloudburst color, since I'm so fond of it myself! I've been a player for years, although I dropped off the site for a while before coming back. Imagine my surprise when I found mutations and poses and new coats oh my! But I definitively am glad to be back on site and in the community once more.

About Your Fursona/Character:
I actually have two official sonas (Incoming text walls I'm so sorry).
One of them, Lynn, was the first one I got and the first character I had that really felt like Me. She was a gift design made for my by someone I love, which cemented her all the more in my heart. But more then that, she represents a lot in my life I couldn't have or that I felt I wasn't allowed to like when I was younger. Bubbly, fun, and a bit of a flirt, Lynn and her pink and blue pastel colors felt like freedom to me and even now, years later, she is so fundamentally a part of me that I could never give her up. Someday I hope to either commission or create a full body suit of her, because I really want to go to cons and events and just physically be all that she represents for me. The second is incredibly new, but was also a long time in development and went through a lot of changes before I finally had something that felt right. She's also a lot more personal to me in general, mostly because unlike Lynn she IS ME. and a version that I love and am proud of, even if it took a long time to get there. Lupin Wulf is a username I made years ago, from a nickname that just stuck, and its the name she bares. Golden retriever, pale and anxious but ultimately sweet and happy to make new friends, troublesome and a bit of a klutz, a total goofball, and sometimes very dumb in her bad moments. I'm happy to call Lupin, well, me.
I only have one image of her, artwork done by the same beloved dork who made me Lynn, but its very good.

About You as a Person:
I'm a bit of a mess as far as being an actual person goes. I'm anxious, shy, sometimes painfully awkward, rather quiet, mostly confused, and absolutely a dork. I came from a close knit family that moved all over the place till we eventually settled only to fall apart. Though in the end, not in a bad sort of way. With two little sisters who grew up and moved out to have their own lives, and a clingy mother who found love late in life and settled into a small house with her guy andfar too many cats, Life has been strange but ultimately good, and given the chance I don't think I would change it. I'm finding my own way in life now, rocky as that path may seem, but I have people who love and support me and who I can do the same for them. Once life settles down (*cough pandemic cough*) me and my wonderful basted of a mate will hopefully be able to get our own place (not renting) and maybe start up our own random craft nonsense. We hope someday to make fur suits and stuffed animals and start up a web-comic maybe. But for now I'm living life as it comes and enjoying it when I can.

I'm doing ok...quarantine and working from home has me in a weird state of mind. But being able to actually go on Lioden more and participate in events is nice. I'm usually not on every day because traveling to and from work takes so long.

Hi Vero! Ohnos not the schoolwork x_x a fursuit though?? How exciting!

My grandma handed her old sewing machine down to me, I've been trying to learn how to use it but it's proving uhhh... difficult. The thing is at least as old as me, so it's gotta be over 22 years old and it has quirks. Old Singer machine. I want to make things though, I just need to learn. But with quarantine, it's not safe to visit my grandma and have her teach me, which sucks.

Question to y'all, does anyone know y'all are a furry? I'm having a hard time telling my boyfriend. Mostly because I've been a closet fur for years, and it was easy to hide it because we didn't live together, but now that we're on our own it's uhhuh, daunting xD he's seen fursuit before, and his emotions about them range from "that's really creepy" to "idk what that is but it's cool af and perfect for you"

I'm really open with telling my hobbies to people so I'll just say I'm a furry. Some people have been like "okay" or "oh I know you like the furry thing but I don't". I can gauge whether or not the person is weirded out by it so their reaction tells me whether or not I can talk about it with them. I've also been an anime fan for the longest time and I'm open about that, so I don't think it's a surprise when I say I'm also a furry.

The most awkward person to tell was probably my mom. Someone at my mom's job told her that furries were really gross and into sexual stuff, so I was hesitant to tell her but one day I just kind of told her and explained that the way her friend described it was not true at all.

The only people I REFUSE to tell are people at my job. Any co-workers, etc. I've heard awful stories about people being fired from their job because they told someone they were a furry and then a co-worker looked it up and got them fired.
