Baekhyun opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, the warrior was already scurrying away, leaving him looking dumbfounded. Closing his lips again, the beta stared after Kikonsa, wondering if maybe he had been too harsh.
The other looked hurt and slightly disappointed. Was he a bit too harsh? Nonsense, most of the pack members were used to his rude exclamations.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Baekhyun fixed his messy hair, which had been ruined by the cool breeze that not-so-gently tossed the golden-chestnut locks so that it was a matted mess. He shut his eyes briefly, enjoying his precious personal space before retreating into the shelter of the pack house.
Perhaps he could go grab some books and read for a while.
Or... Maybe... Baekhyun's otherwise dull eyes twinkled for a heartbeat, before dying down to its normal rich brown color, tinted with pale gold dapples.
Maybe he could play the grand piano there...
No one ever really witnessed him play the piano, nor do they know that he was quite good at it.
He'll play the piano. He just hoped no one would see.

Baekhyun smiled gleefully, hands clasping together once he entered the piano room. His slender, feminine fingers were perfect for the instrument he already knew how to professionally play. His eyes roamed around the luxurious room and the clear glass windows, giving a beautiful view of the forest just beside the building. The sunlight streamed like a river through the glass, lighting up the beautiful grand piano, slightly dusty from lack of use. Adjusting the seat for a moment, he thought of all the musical pieces he had learned throughout the years. Brushing his bangs away from his eyes, the beta comfortably took a seat, shifting his weight so it was perfect for his height. Baekhyun breathed deeply, mentally and physically preparing himself, then his fingers danced on the black and white keys. The jazzy, happy music was like a breath of fresh air to Baekhyun. His smile never leaving his features, the male started singing to the tune.
This continued on for a while... And it never seemed to stop, until Baekhyun turned to glance at the window and caught sight of a sobbing Kikonsa.

Baekhyun reacted like lightning. He was up and about, the song ending abruptly and cut off just before its second chorus. The male beta adjusted his clothes, then trotted hastily to the exit of the pack house. Did he make her cry? So many people were already used to his rude act, to the point they never seem to flinch. He thought maybe she was already used to it too.
Once Baekhyun was outside, he headed directly towards the girl, a bit intimidating at first due to his frustrated expression mixed in with confusion.
"Hey!" He called out, voice sounding louder than what he intended.
