Baekhyun gazed at her for a split-second, mixed emotions in his expression. Sighing, he looked up at the ceiling, thinking deeply.
"I've never seen you talk so much with others," He stated simply after a minute, his gaze once again focusing on Kikonsa. "Do you feel lonely? Im not the greatest person here, but I can be someone you can talk to." His last words prompted her to tell if she thought it wae necessary. His voice lowered to a gentle, soothing tone, aided by the hushed sounds of falling leaves just outside.

Almost instantly, his eyes hardened at her words. "If you're thinking you're useless without Akemi, that's bullshit." He said firmly, tilting his head to the side to look at her more directly. "I may not know you, but im pretty sure Luna wouldn't accept you if you had no talent, even if Akemi begged and pleaded."
Continuing, his voice sounded deeper and harsher than previously, which it almost sounded like a lullaby. "Listen, I may not know you. Hell, im pretty sure we've never even said a single word to eachother until earlier, but I do know one thing: And its that no one is useless in this pack. So many of us have tragic, sad backstories- But look at them, they're strong, they are of use. It goes the same for you, Kikonsa. Dont forget your self-worth." With that, the male turned and walked away coldly towards the pack house to continue on his piano playing, leaving a very quiet room in his wake.

Baekhyun looked shaken. With wide, disbelieving eyes, he stared at the dead body of the hunter just in front of him, then turned to the two who saved him
"I- T-Thank you." He managed to utter, his voice slightly cracking from the near accident. He nodded gratefully to Akemi, a small smile gracing his lips despite his state, then leaned over to lay a soft, gentle hand at Kikonsa's bullet wound.
Without a word to Kikonsa, he glanced at Akemi. "Akemi, we need to get her to a healer." His voice sounding stronger, he staggered up to his feet.
"Question is, how are we going to take her there, if our healer is even awake?"

Baekhyun murmured another thank you to Akemi, before turning to look at his watch in oddly deep concentration. He lightly felt the wound then stood straight again, looking down at the injured warrior beneath him.
"And how are we going to get you to your house?" Baekhyun chuckled, the situation amusing him even if it was serious. "You cant possibly stand unless you want to break a leg or make your injury even harder to heal."
He ran a hand through his hair in obvious frustration, which was highlighted by the sunshine that seemed to make it shine a bit.

Baekhyun felt like facepalming. He padded after her stubborn, pained figure that was approaching her house. After a bit of thought and time, he caught up to her. "Let me help." He said, sliding in front of her to block her from walking any further. "Oh yeah, you're perfectly fine walking with a bullet wound. Yup, PERFECTLY fine. So let me help." Gently, he trotted beside her, and at first, it seemed like he wasn't going to do anything. That is, until he carefully put a hand under her leg and another on the crook of her back. With a soft 'oof', the beta lifted her, and he was a bit surprised from how light she seemed.
"No questions. Dont even bother protesting." He huffed, rolling his eyes before jogging towards her house even faster than her pace earlier.

"Everyone needs help, Kikonsa." Baekhyun snapped once they reached her house. He carefully laid her on the couch, making sure she was as snug as possible, before backing away. He was visibly exhaused from today's events, but he still covered it up with his nonchalant face. "What do you think the purpose of other people here is? You cant do everything alone. Its like a single ant carrying an entire buffet. I know people want to seem strong, want to be independent- But it'll hurt you simply being alone all the time."

Baekhyun looked taken aback by her words, but he supposed it was true. He shut his mouth without a word and gathered the items needed, placing them on the coffee table in front of the couch with a thump. Picking up a gauze and some tape, he gently placed the cloth on the wound, applying pressure to it before fixing it up. He analyzed all of the other items for a moment, then looked up at Kikonsa. "Do you have tweezers anywhere here?" His voice was urgent, since he had experience with this before and knew that a victim could very easily die from blood loss.

Baekhyun swiftly entered the bathroom upstairs, his gaze roaming around desperately for the small item. He found it settled in the drawer, behind medicine pills. He practically shoved aside the pills and grabbed the tweezers, washing it thoroughly and spraying an antibiotic he found onto it. Making his way quickly down the stairs, Baekhyun nearly lost his balance but put out a hand to the rail, gripping it once he swung down the last step and back to Kikonsa. He caught sight of how she had stopped the bleeding and nodded proudly before lifting her hand. Placing the tweezers on another cloth he had found on his way down, he placed the two items on the table and grabbed the antibiotic bottle that was included in the original set.
"This is going to hurt very badly." He murmured, then soothingly washed the lethal injury with the anti-bacterial liquid. He watched her flinch for a second, then continued on with his procedure. Working nimbly with his hands, the beta male dried the tweezers and readied to pull out the bullet itself. Thankfully, the steel wasn't too deep into the flesh, so he quickly pulled it out to avoid anymore unnecessary pain. He couldn't help but scrunch his nose up at the blood-stained instrument, placing it on the table and once again placing a gauze, a new one this time, onto the wound. Grabbing some medical tape, he efficiently applied it to the soft item, making sure to keep it tight enough to stop the wound from bleeding anymore. Exhausted, Baekhyun collapsed to a sitting position on the floor, his breathing speeding up to a rapid pace.
