Is a bird shifter allowed? In the shifter info it says mammal and some reptilians, but since birds are not technically mammals, I was wondering if they would still be allowed or not and how predatory can a shifter be? Like, could I have a lioness as one character or is that not okay and you were wanting more docile animals?

This sounds real neat, but I've got a quick clarification question before I toss my character forms in - you mention that something that a character has on in animal form stays that way until taken off, but does that mean that it is not present in human form? So like, if an animal was carrying something on them, then switched to human form, would that thing be effectively untraceable and gone from existence until they turned back into an animal?
And, if so, would that also work for things that potentially hurt or disabled them? Like if a human had handcuffs on, then switched to animal form, would they then be free? And if, say, an animal got a bear-trap stuck on their paw, but the bear-trap was not attached to anything else and allowed the animal free movement, would the wound remain but the trap disappear when they became a human again?

Sorry, just thinking about what sort of characters I could make and wanted to check before I went steam-rolling ahead. If these are already answered somewhere, I'm real sorry - I looked over the rules and was a little unsure, but I might just be a Big Dumb.

Ah, man, this is a good question. Way more in depth than what I had originally thought up when I typed up everything. :,D I guess by definition, they would be able to be freed from restraints, as they’re present on only one form and not the other. Perhaps if they were to shift with handcuffs on, the handcuffs would either fall off their body, or be stuck into that form of themselves indefinitely. This definitely adds another layer to the thought process. xD

I had intended that they keep their clothes because I don’t want to worry about an unnecessarily weird amount of nudity in a RP. :x I could make a point for the tracking collars that they would have had to have both put on them, in both forms so that they wouldn’t just disappear entirely if they shifted. :,D

So, I guess in this case, physical restraints would be pretty much useless. But I’m sure other ways of... containment could be devised if needed. Haha. I hope I answered this well enough, because even I don’t know.

Same goes for my character. I had the idea for him in mind for a really long time, even if that basis was just “sexy cop.” (Still haven’t fully figured out his current personality, mostly complacent, but we’ll see.)

And I think we could DEFINITELY use some short-tempered characters. Lots of drama to stir up. ;)

Catching up on the other bios before making my own, mine are definitely going to be sub-par in comparison. I'd consider myself a decent roleplayer, but my character sheets rarely reflect that rip.
