Tbh, I really don't see the point in the cub death feature. No one likes having their cubs die- it is pointless, frustrating, and extremely upsetting especially if you lose an important cub you can never bring back. It's even worse when someone sells you a cub on the verge of death and you don't realize it, and you end up paying a ton for a cub that dies the next day because you forgot to protect it. What does the cub death feature even add to the game? Nothing, really, except yet another stressful thing people have to worry about. There's no reason people should lose their valuable cubs for being forgetful- we already have to worry about feeding lions and keeping their moods up, nesting pregnant lionesses, etc, so why do we ALSO have to worry about our cubs dropping dead because we forgot to protect them? It serves no purpose outside of being stressful to manage. It isn't fun, it doesn't add anything interesting to the gameplay except perhaps the introduction of the broodmother mechanic, but why should cubs have to actually permanently die for that to be a thing?? Many people have experienced the scenario of simply being forgetful because they have huge prides, or they're busy in real life, or whatever else, and they end up losing an heir, or a special mutated cub, or a cub they just paid tons of GB for the day prior. And it SUCKS. No one likes it when that happens, especially since there is 0 chance of EVER getting that cub back again. So, my suggestion? Either completely remove the 'cub mortality' feature entirely, OR change it so that instead of dying, the cub 'runs off and gets lost', and you can pay to get them back or something. There should be a way to get your cubs back if you lose an important one- what's the point of preventing that other than to punish people who happen to have lives and not always think to check cubs every day alongside everything else they have to manage in the game?? |

this is a game though, not real life, so that argument doesn't really work lol a non-realistic game's features should be based on what is fun, not what is "realistic". ![]() |

/facepalm/ if you cant take the time to protect the cubs YOU bought, its your fault. The cub death I like, because I often forget to kill/reserve my cubs, and they magically die at RO. more cub fun. What ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, people have previously said, it was to stop cub milling. If there was too many cubs, the server would lag, and guess what? MORE COMPLAINTS FOR LIODEN. ![]() |

No support for obvious reasons mentioned above. If you don't want your 'important' cub to die, protect it with a broad mother. So many suggestions like this have already been rejected so much by the members. if you have 40 territory, then you can have 4 broadmothers. that's 20-24 cubs you can protect. that's plenty enough. having it where every single cub lives automatically would be a pain to not just the server but to people who actually like when the cubs die! it means they don't have to kill them manually. and if you don't have the room to protect the cub then well if you have 40 territory and 4 broadmothers let's hope you have the room for the 20-24 cubs you re protecting or you will have a bigger problem with space then with i can't protect them! also for just 200SB you can buy a very handy item in the money business that will raise your cubs protection to 100%! and not only that, that 100% isn't a one day thing. It will slowly decrease from 100% so that can be a solid 3-5 days with that cub. Perfect if all you need to do is sell them. and as others mentioned, mass breeding and cub milling. Cub death feature was added to help calm all that. making it where every single cub doesn't make it to adult hood. That is, again, a lot of serve space. We recently had a serve die, and I for one don't want this new server to die in a year because cub deaths were removed. I don't mean to be that person but a suggestion like this will never be accepted. at one point there was no cub deaths. then they added it to prevent every single lion from living. They will never reverse that because so many people mass breed and so many cubs are born in just one day. my two lionesses gave me 6 cubs today. imagine how many cubs was born. if every singe one of them lived then market could crash, server could crash, and people would have to waste sooo much energy killing or sending them off if they don't chase them. [edit- Changed 100$ > 100%. Typo correction] ![]() Edited on 30/05/19 @ 11:15:55 by |⛧Tacatto⛧|CleanHazeFerus| (#14803) |

not to mention is it has the skull icon then it is going to die. if you see that skull you could easily just play with them or buy the item i mentioned. ![]() |

I mean @LightFury, maybe this impacts them. Its not useless at all, it would change a lot. its just something that would negatively impact gameplay and sever space for various reasons ![]() |

Removing the cub deaths would make the game easier and thus, remove the element of challange, so I personally find removing cub deaths to be taking away from the game's fun. SO, still no support. Some things are supposed to be difficult, a game that is too easy will quickly grow boring. Again, if the amount of lions you keep, makes the game too difficult for you - downsize the amount of lions you have. When playing things like Skyrim, you dont just head-on charge onto a dragon with your bare hands, no? This is the same situation here - dont keep that many lions if they make your game too difficult. Keep less lions and your game will be easier. ![]() Edited on 30/05/19 @ 14:30:05 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

Yeah, but even if this impacts the user who made this post - this problem can very easily be solved by using broodmothers, interacting with the cub, or using a Hornbill Majordomo. The staff added multiple solutions to prevent a cub from dying. It is the user's fault if they let the cub die and I honestly feel no pity for them. ![]() Edited on 30/05/19 @ 14:29:59 by amourplastique (#115067) |
