OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Pitch takes this opportunity to climb up Dreamwalker's leg. He then scrambled onto his back, up his neck, and onto his head. He settles his small body in the space between the larger male's horns, chirping softly. His flutters his wings gently, and curls his tail around himself. He looked proud of himself for making it up there. He then yawns, his eyes fluttering sleepily as he lies his head on his paws, closing his eyes. Before long, the little hatchling was asleep.. on Dreamwalker's head. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Jade giggles softly, her tail slowly moving over the sand. She still had the mirror in her talons as she responded. "Just try not to drop him. Besides.. it looks like you have a new fan, Dreamwalker." She laughs slightly, her eyes glittering with a faint look of humor. Then she remembered the mirror, and she held it out for Dreamwalker to see. "Oh! Look what Snowdream found in the sand." The Obsidian Mirror was lying in her open talons, the light reflecting off the smooth glass surface. ----- Snowdream saw the mirror, and she chirps lightly, poking it with her talon. Suddenly, several small whisps of smoke appeared on the glass surface. She squeaked in surprise, trying to touch the whisps of smoke, which were now turning colors. Different shades of brown, amber, gold, tan, blue, green, grey, and even black and white appeared and disappeared from view on the smoke tendrils. ----- Pitch slept soundly on Dreamwalker's head, his tail lightly wrapped around the base of his one horn. Jade tilts her head, feeling a bit confused. She frowns ever so slightly, but she looked curious. "Oh? What is it? Some sort of magic mirror?" ----- Snowdream climbs down to be beside Pitch, and curls up next to him. Solstice watched calmly as Serac lifted himself into the air, making his way towards the Rainwings. She smiled, the wind carrying his words to her ears. He had made a fine member of tribe - it hadn't escaped her that he had referred to the Wall as 'ours' - that was a good thing. Perhaps he was realizing that he could very well call this Kingdom his home, too. Solstice hoped he planned on staying for a long while; he had asked to do so, but she wasn't certain what he had been doing before he came here, or whether he missed where he used to stay before. She brushed the thought away as she heard Blizzard approach, curling her tail around her talons. She mainly kept her eyes on the Rainwings, but she occasionally glanced down to look at Blizzard. "That depends, little one. I have never had eggs go missing - well, perhaps once - that I remember. I'm not certain whose you could be." She frowned, looking him over. Did he look anything like her? Maybe a little - but maybe that was just her attempting to see a resemblance in him. She frowned a little before quickly wiping the frown off of her face. ---- Bermuda gave Jade a tentative nod, watching her leave. She turned to two guards near the entrance. "Follow her, but don't interfere. Give her space. I want to make certain she is safe, but don't interrupt her." The guards nodded to their Queen, swimming out and leaving Bermuda alone with her thoughts. After a few minutes of brooding, she stood up and kicked off, swimming out of the room and through the castle. Blizzard sat down, wings dropping. “What if... what if I find my family, but they don’t want me? If I was my parents, I wouldn’t want me either.” He muttered, waving his talons at his face. Dreamwalker smiles nervously, kneading the sand with his talons. “So... what are we going to do now? We can’t bury Pitch now, since he’s somehow alive...” Koala nodded fiercely. “Good. We need to go to the rainforest now, and get what we can from my mother’s stash. She’s used her magic more than it seems, and she’s closer to snapping like Trunk than she’s willing to admit.” Mango powered onwards, diving for the swamps. ((Time to revive Blacklight)) The thin NightWing shuffled around her rooms, nudging blankets and other various items frantically. Had someone taken it? Where was it?! She couldn’t see any glints of shiny black in the room, even in the little cache of enchanted items she’d collected over the years. 0 players like this post! He grumbled internally before looking back at Koala. --- Solstice watched the exchange between Serac and the head Rainwing with interest, lying down in the snow next to Blizzard. She turned towards him when he spoke, concern etched on her face. "Don't speak like that. You are good enough for them and more." She insisted calmly, raising a wing over his head in a gesture of affection. "I highly doubt they would not want you."
