OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Serac nodded solemnly, defalting slightly. "Then I give my condolences. Unless you slew her, then I give congratulations." He shook his tail slightly, freeing the last of the sand and some newly forming ice from his scales. "Follow me." The icewing lead the way to Solstice's place in the snow, beside the strange little icewing he had carried on his back. Serac felt a pang of sympathy for the scarred dragonet, '𝘕𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳-𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵...' he thought. Solstice was unable to give him a smile due to his lack of sight, so she curled her tail around him, giving him a slight hug with the wing she was still able to use. "Of course, little one. I don't know many dragons that would charge headlong into a battle without being able to see a single thing." She chuckled, although slight nervousness was hidden in her voice. "You have heart. Although, I wouldn't recommend doing something like that again." She laughed - it was meant to be a warm statement, but at the same time, she had a bit of a stern bite to her tone - a bit of a parental warning, if you will. She looked up as Serac landed in front of her, giving him a slight dip of the head. "Not at all, Serac. Thank you." She stood up, turning her attention to the Rainwings. "And who might you be? I'll admit I'm a little shocked to see Rainwings this far from the rainforest." She asked, turning her attention to the Rainwing up front of the group. 0 players like this post! Queen Sunshower dipped her head to the queen. "My names is Queen Sunshower." She said. "I'm here to tell you that Queen Daydreamer has died... and we'll be doing things a little differently now that I'm queen. I'll be staying queen." Now that she was saying it out loud, it seemed crazy. She was changing the whole Rainwing history. But she knew it had to be done. With violence stirring around outside of the rainforest, she knew it was only a matter of time before someone attacked. And she wasn't going to have a bunch of lazy, good-for-nothing dragons, just sitting there and waiting to be killed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(ack im sorry i missed your reply @Msiai) North took a deep breath and tried again, "We should really go somewhere where there's cover. At least a spot that someone knows of, not just anywhere." He snorted a cloud of ice crystals. Swift's tail was still stuck in Falcon's fire grip. The pain was overwhelming, and he felt as if he was about to faint. But he couldn't. Jade frowned faintly, fluttering her wings uncomfortably. She looks down at Snowdream, Colchis, Pitch, and over at Seastar, before sighing softly. She wasn't entirely sure what to do, much less with Pitch, now that he was alive. She curls her tail, coiling it around her hind legs as she sat up on her haunches. She tilts her head a she spoke thoughtfully. "I don't know.. we don't know for sure that these four can breathe like Seawings do, seeing as they're only hybrids. They could probably only hold their breath for up to an hour or two, maybe three. If so we'd probably need to find a place to live on land close to the sea..." She went on, muttering what sounded like plans or calculations under her breath as she looks from the dragonets to her surroundings, then out at sea in the direction of the underwater palace. She kept slipping a glance at the mirror, a confused but odd look on her face. She eventually sighs, settling back down on the sand. ----- Snowdream slowly stirred along with Pitch, stretching her small wings. She yawns, lifting her head to see her mother sigh and settle onto the sand. She got the feeling that her mother was anxious or at least confused and indecisive.. Slowly, she got to her feet, nudging Pitch and chirping cheerfully at him to get him up. Afterwards, she bounds after Colchis, and she playfully tackles him, causing them both to tumble on the sand. ----- Pitch squeaked in protest as his sister nudged him, to wake him he assumed. He yawns softly, his yawn sounding like that of a kitten as he sat up and stretched. He lifted his head, watching as his sister chirped cheerfully at him. When Snowdream bounded after Colchis and tackled him to the sand, causing them both to tumble, he flutters his wings, watching in confusion but still curious. His stripes seemed to pulsate faintly, growing dim and then growing brighter slowly. Unaware of what he was saying with his stripes, nobody but Snowdream seemed to notice what he was signaling as he looks between Jade and Dreamwalker, then at the woods behind them. (@SillyHyena, did you make sure @chamango was okay with Dragonfly becoming the new Queen?) Solstice listened intently, hiding her shock from the new Rainwing Queen - she certainly hadn't expected this. Perhaps this would be a good thing, though - the more alliances she had, the stronger she would be. She had no issues with the Rainwings; after all, they had come all this way to deliver this message, so they obviously weren't looking for a fight. However, she was still a little shocked that the Rainwings seemed to be completely changing their way of life. "I'll admit I'm a little...shocked by this turn of events, but I would say that this could be a good thing. I would be more than willing to enter into an alliance with the Rainwings if you wish to do so." She squinted a little, thinking - Queen Sunshower had stated that Daydreamer had died, she hadn't killed her - would they still be challenging Queens for the throne. She pushed that thought aside, instead offering condolences; "My apologies for your loss." 0 players like this post! Like? |
