OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Jade looks up at her mother, smiling sleepily as her eyes glowed with pride. She swishes her tail slightly, careful not to bump the eggs. ' "I'm doing well, mother. As far as I know, the eggs are healthy." ' She flashed with her scales, then she does it once more, doing a inaudible chuckle. ' "And Cascade's an uncle! Who would've thought it? And, I guess that makes you a grandma.." ' She gives a sleepy but also slightly cheeky smile, before gazing lovingly at her eggs. She gently nuzzles each of them. ' "I already love them with all my heart, mother. And they haven't even hatched yet..." ' She admitted as she flashed her scales, the light sort of a pale but soft glow as she curls back around the eggs again. She sighs sleepily, mumbling something along the lines of "their father would be proud" and "what would Dreamwalker think of them?" and finally, something so soft it was thought to have been imagined. "..... I wonder if Dreamwalker would want to help raise them....." ((Oof, sorry for late response. I haven't been able to get to somewhere with internet the past few days ;w;)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Scorpius frowned a little. "I don't think I can stay for long. Coming out here might have been a mistake - my tribe hasn't exactly been welcoming." He sighed, exhaling in an almost forceful manner, as if he were trying to expel all of the anxiety swirling in his chest. "I suppose being King is harder than you'd expect." He laughed a little, his tail swishing around in the snow. ------ Solstice's eyes caught two things in the corner of her vision - Serac had noticed Barb's attack on her, and had began to make his way towards them. The wind had started to pick up, and she winced slightly from the rocks pummeling her, cutting into her scales. Her eyes then caught something not too far off - at least, as far as she could see through the swirling sandstorm. She could have sworn she saw a dragon that looked very much like her son, North, with a Sandwing near him. As soon as she spotted the dragons, however, they seemed to vanish into the sand. The sight only served to make her more angry, and she snapped her jaws back open, aiming a particularly vicious blast of frost at Barb's shoulder. -------- Bermuda gave her daughter an amused smile, watching her expression. "Parenthood does that to you." She laughed playfully, the glow from her scales illuminating the room in patterns. "I would be concerned if you didn't love them already. I do." She managed to hide the frown as Jade mentioned Dreamwalker - she didn't trust him, but she knew better than to try and dictate who her daughter could see or love. That wasn't fair to her, and Pyrrhia knows she had dragons in the royal family attempt to force her to love someone she didn't want to when she was young, and she wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially her children. 0 players like this post! Barb leaped out of the way and dove down into the sand before crawling around towards the side. ( who is gonna back down tho lol ? Should like somehow she sees a good looking icewing than leaves with him or they take her 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Hmm. Good question, lol. I was thinking that North or Frostbite are spotted by Solstice, and once she realizes they aren't actually being currently held by Barb, she draws back? Might have to see what they think about that tho, seeing as it's their characters, haha) Solstice attempted to twist in midair as Barb's claws suddenly released her - she managed to land awkwardly on her side, one leg curled under her. There was an audible, small crack as the leg curled underneath her hit the ground, and a slight burst of pain shot up her leg and into her shoulder, followed by a sort of hot numbness. She stood up hastily, putting weight on her foot - she could still walk, so luck had been in her favor during that fall; it seemed like it was only possibly sprained instead of broken. Still it hurt to walk on, every step sending pain shooting into her shoulder - but she ignored it, whipping around, eyes searching for three different targets - the dragon she had seen from afar, who she was almost certain was her son - Barb, or Serac. Barb had apparently managed to leave her sight quickly, and the Icewing Queen growled in annoyance. 0 players like this post!
