Introduction

As most people have discovered, the June event doesn't exactly have the most interactive storyline. You do Daily Quests for 20ish days and then fight Apophis. No expansion, nothing new. So I've made an expansion on the current questline!

Note: The “Day” is what day of the month the event unlocks, but if you don’t finish the previous unlock, you’ll wait another day for the next “day” to unlock. Ex. if you don’t finish Day 1 until the 14th of June, you’ll have to do Day 2 on the 15th, Day 3 on the 16th, Day 10 on the 17th, etc.

Day One
The story progresses as it normally does, with your king collecting the essences.
Receive 50xLevel EXP, +5 Khepri Beetles

Day Two


Day Three


The store opens now and you begin doing the “daily quests” (see below).

Day Ten


Day Eleven


Day Fourteen


Day 20
The finale of the June storyline continues as it’s already written.

Once the finale is completed, the Origin quests will become available. You can only do one at a time but you may do both.

Origin Quests
When you visit your god, they’re standing in front of the Sun Altar. They turn to you and tell you about their past with others like you - and their desire to relive it. You’re given two choices - “Tell me more” and “I don’t know…” If you say the former, you’ll be taken directly to the Path of the Ancients and will get one more chance to back out. If you say the latter, they’ll tell you that they have another task for you to take.

You don’t have to do an Origin Quest and can just continue with Daily Quests!

All
- Defeat 10 Slithering Minions
- Defeat 20 Enemies

Bast
- Claim 20 lionesses
- Gain 50 karma
- Reserve 20 lions
- Defeat 10 Large or Small Felines

Anubis
- Give 50 uses of food
- Give 25 uses of amusement items
- Kill 20 lions
- Defeat 10 Canids

Seth
- Fight 20 lions
- Lose 50 karma
- Chase 20 lions
- Defeat 10 Hyenas

I support the idea of having more things to do so this event is more interesting, but you may want to lower some of the requirements, your current plan seems like a big challenge ^^

@Fire When I got the advice of a couple of my Clans, they suggested what I had (which was halved, ex. Sacrifice 10 Lions) was too easy so I upped the requirements. Which ones, in particular, seem too hard? I wanna edit them if they seem too outlandish

hmm, actually, while i do support, i think maybe the feathers/skulls requirements should be lower? for newer or casual players, the main event quests should still be accessible, and i think those would be hard to obtain in one day if you don't already have a large stash of them

however, i fully support the high lion sacrifice requirement! hopefully it could get some of the cubs out of the tree and the too-cheap lions out of the TC ^^

Ah, that's a good point. I was mainly basing it on Egyptian ceremonies where they require a LOT of "donations" to the temples. I'll reduce it to 15? Or perhaps 20 uses of skulls/feathers instead?

yeah that makes sense! i also didn't see an issue with my first read-over, but then i remembered my first time doing events where they required feathers/skulls and how difficult it was to get them in the short timespan provided haha

but those numbers make sense!! maybe just 20 uses of amusement items? perhaps also lower the 30 amusement items on day 3 to 20?

Well, it's 30 Uses of Amusement rather than 30 amusement items. So Rib Bones and Pet Rocks (which really aren't used anyways) only need like 5 full uses. Do you think it needs to be reduced anyways?

10 and 11 and 14 are too high cost, 30 lions then an additional 20? I think 10 lions one day and 15 the next but no more than 20 is more reasonable. Otherwise we will see the same effect we did with the Demiurge when everyone bought up the lions and the catnip to try and complete the quest for progression. Even the cave materials would be a stiff challenge for a large group of players.

However, I really like this idea, it goes in the right direction. Since the implementation of this event, its been pretty stale. The first year the items were blah and cheap, now they are still blah but its really hard to get the currency to even afford the decor.

What do you think it should be changed to? I based it on the other events (April, July, October, etc.) so I didn't think it was too much but I also usually have a surplus of items so I don't know what's too much

I really enjoy this event and would love to see this sort of thing implemented.
I like the idea of Item uses being used over overall items themselves esp and a good hit for lion numbers.

I can see why the numbers/requirements are high and i agree with it. (I may just be used to Seth running my ass into the damn ground tho XD) these gods are badasses when it come to their missions lol

Honestly, the biggest reason I picked Uses instead of items themselves is so that we can get a lot of the "useless" multi-use items out of circulation and hopefully improve the market number (as well as it not costing an arm and a leg to progress)

I've also noticed how repetitive and linear the storyline and quests are. In essence the same outcome happens no matter which god you choose, just different art, personality and applicator rewards. Having every quest be to battle in explore could at least be changed or varied a bit. Because I can see why maybe Bast wouldn't want you to fight constantly but Seth would.
