For the love of all that is good in this world somebody PLEASE beat my score in Fire Escape.

I didn't acquire said score with any degree of skill, just with a bunch of furious slapping of the spacebar. It was 2017. I was younger then. My reflexes were like that of a person 6 years younger than my current age. And I'm older than a good chunk of the Lioden playerbase so if I can do it, you can do it.

Please, somebody. Anybody. This is not what I should be remembered for. This is not what I should be immortalized for all of time for. If I'm gunna be on any leaderboard, it should be the Grumpy Old Lady leaderboard. >( "There's Msasi," People should say. "That crazy old lady no one wants to get to close to anymore. You know. Because of her weird mutterings and also the smell."

Yeah. That would be great.

Some notes for 2023:

* THIS IS THE FINAL YEAR OF THE CHALLENGE. There are a couple reasons for this, the main being that after all this time I do suspect that it IS an impossible score to defeat, lmao. Perhaps I just need to accept that this is my legacy and accept it. I sort of wanted my legacy to be sepias, but sometimes you just have to live with what fate gives you.

* The prize has been boosted to 125 GB this year! Please beat my score and win it from me!



* 2022 Msasi was once again a saint and remembered to buy Jolly Pose apps (or Msasi's friends were Super Cool People who reminded her to buy them). Huzzah! This means, as usual, a full set of poses will be awarded to anyone who is on the leaderboard with a 2023 score at the end of the event. If, like last year, there are no new scores added, I will add everyone who comments on this thread this year into a big ol' list and task a random number generator with choosing a few winners. It may be useful for you to comment anyway, as this being the last year of the challenge, I may do some other smaller giveaway things at the end of the month too.
