Mutated - Role Play ThreadIntroductionHumans. They thought they were the most powerful creatures on Earth. But of course they were proven wrong. Another species, who were very much like humankind, stepped forward and revealed themselves. The members of this species are believed to be the next stage of evolution and have gained extraordinary powers. They were known to humans as Mutants. But humans are not known for their acceptance. Many, but not all, believed that the Mutants were a threat and the Mutants were forced back into hiding. But some Mutants weren't interested in hiding and decided to fight back against human rule. These Mutants believe that they should be the superior species on Earth and will do whatever is necessary to rule. The tension between Mutants and humans is rising. A war may be coming. Are you a human? Or are you a Mutant? But more importantly... whose side are you on? Rules- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play! (Official LD Rules HERE) - Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something. - LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join. - This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve. - Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily. - No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses! - Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something. - This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know! - I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three. Neveah Delgado|Female|23yrs|Allied Human|Mentions: Taya, NPCs Neveah was driving the truck and was just about to pass the city limits when she saw a woman standing outside the front of a farm. Nino ears perked up as he let out a small bark. She slowly pulled to the side and rolled down the window. "Hey, you're a nut right? Don't lie Nino only barks at muts and wild creatures." She said with a friendly smile. "Look the soldiers have arrived and all mutants will be killed and wiped out from the city. I am offering shelter at my ranch home. Lots of space to hide and it's a private place where only i live alone at." Neveah said trying to hide the fact that she was slightly panicking and just wanted to go back to her farm. "I promise I won't hurt you and Nino won't either. We love mutants and I think y'all have a right to live sweetheart." The short curvy latina began to grow inpatient but knew she had to try and save this mutant. Nino let out a small whimper as if begging Taya to join her. Blake Lakefox|Male|26yrs|Insurgent Mutant|Pyrokinesis|Mentions:Nyoka, Aquilla Blake smiled as he leaned against the wall and lit his cigarette with his finger tips. "Well ain't ya a stupidly brave." He laughed as he stood up and walked towards the two women. "No weapons or back up, just a lonely little girl with two mutants. Mutants that can kill little worms like you with just a snap.." Blake snapped his finger and flames began to engulf his whole hand before adding. "Of a finger." He let out a menacing laugh before hurling a fire ball to a crowd of people. "Enough of this peaceful bullshit, it's time to fight and end this tainted species from this world. A world we were made to rule." He yelled as the screaming of humans burning filled the air. He turned to look at Nyoka both hands glowing red as he clenched them tightly. "So will you join the rebellion and bring an end to humans, or will you stay and protect them like a damn dog?" Blake lifted his hands as the flames behind him grew larger and larger. Engulfing building, people, and killing anything in reach. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Logan Wolf|Male|30|Uninvolved Mutant|Animalistic Abilities|Mentions: Blake, Aurelie Logan saw a mutant he'd seen on the rooftop create flames and watched balls of fire explode everywhere. Logan ducked and narrowly dodged the flames coming right at him. Logan saw two kids run out of a burning shop and into the path of another blast of fire. Logan twisted and quickly grabbed the two kids before moving them out of the way of harm. The two managed to escape but Logan knew that most of the humans wouldn't be so lucky. He was pretty sure the soldier vehicles were fireproof so he hoped Aurelie would be safe for now. Logan growled in pain as he felt a bullet barrel through his shoulder sending blasts of pain through his arm. He groaned a little and turned to attack the shooter only to find that they'd been engulfed in a blast of fire. The flames just wouldn't stop growing and Logan got knocked into a car as one of the buildings exploded. This was completely chaotic. Logan winced and felt his healing factor start healing his burns. Who was this guy anyway? Logan looked at the crazed pryokinetic mutant and growled. What a crazy idiot just killing whatever was there. Soon he was going to burn everyone to the damn ground. Logan was already sick of the smell of singed skin and angrily growled at the mutant. Alexander Jackson|Male|27|Uninvolved Mutant|Invisibility|Mentions: Jackson Alex moved away from the door and sat next to Jackson. Disgust filled his stomach as now his whole body became ablaze. "What the hell are you doing, these humans were killing us just moments ago? Even our children and you go and save them?" He spat as his eyes began to glow a bright orange. He hurdled a few fireballs towards Logan. "Traitorous little scum." He roared as he flexed his muscles sending little flameballs all around. Blake starred back at Logan and charged towards him. He would kill every human and mutant traitor. Neveah Delgado|Female|23yrs|Allied Human|Mentions: Taya, NPCs Neveah let out a small sigh of relief as Taya agreed. She looked at the old woman and nodded with a friendly smile. "Don't worry ma'am, I'll take good care of her. I have a mutant brother at home. She says as Taya closed the door. She looked at her side mirror to see dark smoke coming from the city. "Let's get going, ain't safe here for us." She says pulling off leaving a trail of dust behind them. It wasn't until they were half way there until Neveah decided to break the deafening silence. "Name's Neveah or Nevi for short. What's your name?" Neveah took one hand off the steering wheel to pet Nino who sat panting in between them. "This here is Nino, excuse his slobber and wicked stinky breath. He's a sweetheart once you look past all that." She let out a small chuckle as Nino let out a bark, his tail wagging happily behind him. Diablo(Dia)|male|16|uninvolved Mutant|beastman/mind powers|Mentions: Jackson, Alexander, Neveah Diablo was was walking back to the house carrying two buckets of milk. He usually got up early to start the farm work, and hadn't realized Neveah had left yet. As he neared the house the dogs came running up to him wagging their tails excitedly and making a lot of racket. He let out a small growl to calm them down as he turned the corner. Suddenly he stopped as he saw two men standing at the porch. They looked human. Where they there to kill him? Where was Neveah? Should he run? His mind began to race and fear had him frozen in place. He wasn't wearing his mask so his face was fully exposed. They would surely beat him when they saw him. His eyes landed on Artemis who was trying to play with one of the men. He felt a sort of jealously for the small dog. Nobody ever played with him like that. He didn't say a word just stood there hoping his looks would be enough to frighten them away. Nyoka|Female Insurgent Mutant|Mentions: Aurelie - Nyoka slithered out of her hiding place in the wall, and shapeshifted back to human form, looking around. Her bag was gone, but the Eradicator had clearly forgotten about the knife in the wall. She pulled it out of the wall, before smelling smoke. "What in the everliving hell?" she said to herself, before quickly climbing the wall to see what it was. A huge fire was burning buildings just south of her. She looked to see the source of the fire, spotting a mutant standing in front of the flames, making them burn brighter. She smiled. Maybe she could kill a few humans or in the chaos. Jumping from building to building, she ran closer to the fire, eventually climbing to the ground when it was only a few blocks away. She ran the rest of the way on the ground, occasionally stopping to kill humans that were running away. Once she was there, she looked around, before using one of her knives to slice a human's throat. She whirled around, hearing a scared voice from inside one of the soldier vehicles. She used her knife to try and pick the lock, succeeding and flinging the door open. "Who are you?" she asked, hoping it was a mutant. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She breathed quickly, scared, but then her breath slowed into calm rhythms. Studying Nyoka carefully, she decided that she wasn't threat. "..M-My name is Aurelie." She lunged at the closest guard, biting his hand and injecting her venom into his bloodstream. She whirled around as she shifted back and stabbed the next guard with her knife before kicking the third into a blaze of fire. Turning back to Aurelie, she held her hand out. She shapeshifted back into a snake and slithered through the debris, looking back to make sure that the fox was following. She went until she arrived at the camp she had lived in for years. Looking around, she made sure that everything was there.
