Mutated - Role Play ThreadIntroductionHumans. They thought they were the most powerful creatures on Earth. But of course they were proven wrong. Another species, who were very much like humankind, stepped forward and revealed themselves. The members of this species are believed to be the next stage of evolution and have gained extraordinary powers. They were known to humans as Mutants. But humans are not known for their acceptance. Many, but not all, believed that the Mutants were a threat and the Mutants were forced back into hiding. But some Mutants weren't interested in hiding and decided to fight back against human rule. These Mutants believe that they should be the superior species on Earth and will do whatever is necessary to rule. The tension between Mutants and humans is rising. A war may be coming. Are you a human? Or are you a Mutant? But more importantly... whose side are you on? Rules- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play! (Official LD Rules HERE) - Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something. - LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join. - This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve. - Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily. - No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses! - Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something. - This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know! - I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three. She gave the signal on the door and waited til it opened before letting a tired smile cross her face. Alright let's head home, yeah?" She said as she petted Nino who stood next to her wagging his tail. "Lock the door it's going to be a long ride so just bear with it." She closed the down and made her way to the driver's door. She opened it letting Nino jump in first before getting in. She started the car which started the a/c that was built into the trailer to start as well. Nyoka walked among the crowds of protestors with a hoodie pulled over her face so no one can see her strange appearance. She wanted so desperately to kill one of the humans, even if it meant being caught. She decided that she had enough hiding and just wanted to fight. She stabbed the human closest to her, and everything else was a blur. She remembered her hood getting pulled off, and then she ran. - Aquilla reacted nearly instantly when she heard the shriek. Some of the protestors were crowded around a body, and a black haired girl was running away, and Aquilla chased her into an alleyway. The girl turned around to reveal snake-like eyes and scattered black scales. Aquilla smiled. "You're a mutant," she said, "That would explain why you injured them. I suppose it is more of a defense than anything else. Trust me." She pulled out her gun, ready to kill the snake-girl, but as she aimed, the girl shapeshifted in front of her and slithered into a hole in the wall. Eric Hyde|Male|40|Human Eradicator|Mentions: Logan, Aurelie Eric walked swiftly through the base ready to give out new orders to his soldiers. The town was still not under control and he had much more important things to do than wait for the soldiers to do their damn job. Eric headed to the Captain's office and handed him the files he had in his arm. "Captain, we still haven't got control over the town and we only have one mutant," said Eric, "I need you to send your soldiers to the town to capture as many mutants as possible. Tell them that they have permission to kill if necessary. But make sure to tell them you don't kill this one," Eric slid over a file to the Captain labelled as "Project Fenrir". Eric smiled, "Send the female we captured with the soldiers too, I have a feeling that somebody wants her back." The Captain nodded and exited the base with his soldiers not long after under the new orders. Logan Wolf|Male|30|Uninvolved Mutant|Animalistic Abilities|Mentions: Aurelie Logan saw a commotion and units of soldiers started to head out of the base and into armed vehicles. He saw the van that had Aurelie in it exit the base. Logan could sense she was still there but had no idea why they decided to bring her out again. Logan decided he'd find out as he crept out of the woods, shifted back into his human form, and stealthily pulled himself on to the underside of the van as the soldiers headed towards the town. 0 players like this post! "I guess nobody's home. They must be out in the town," said Alex. "Maybe they wouldn't mind if we hung out here for a while and wait for the town to settle back down. There should be heaps of hiding places around here and they might not even know we're here when they get back." Logan Wolf|Male|30|Uninvolved Mutant|Animalistic Abilities|Mentions: Aurelie Logan felt his shoulders slowly began to stiffen as he held onto the underside of a car with the front wheels spinning and lurching near his head. He was in the last car of the soldiers' vehicle convoy and was right behind the van he knew Aurelie was in. The drive from the base was a long and bumpy ten minute drive for Logan. When they arrived in the town Logan saw soldiers step out of the vehicles who immediately started storming the nearby buildings in search of mutants. The mutants that had been fighting earlier were overwhelmed by the reinforcements and were captured or killed in all the commotion. Logan rolled out from underneath the car and was prepared to see if he could break Aurelie out of the van until the soldiers started focusing on him. To Logan's surprise the soldiers weren't using lethal weapons on him. Not that they'd work very well on them anyways. Logan growled at their stupidity and started fighting back against the soldiers as they tried to push back him and fight all the other mutants around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It was odd. Although this could've gone worse, he could be dead right now and that's not exactly ideal. "I guess hiding out would be the best option for now." He started to move towards the house, not being all that cautious. His mind was still set on what exactly he was going to do after all this, he probably couldn't go back for a long time. But Jackson wouldn't let that bother him now, he had more important things to focus on. One of those being doing his best to not be found. 0 players like this post! Like? |

There were no cars on the road and there was hardly anything apart from lots of farmland stretching out everywhere. The house seemed tidy and small compared to the huge paddocks with the occasional cows staring at them. Alex heard a bit of barking which seemed to be getting closer. Alex looked to the side and saw a small dog running at them. It didn't seem aggressive at all and sniffed around his shoes. He said with a slight smile, reaching down to pat the dogs head. Being as short as he was, it really wasn't hard. Once he got bored of petting the friendly creature, Jackson turned his attention back to the house, going up to the front door and/or front porch. He knocked on the door a bit roughly, but stood his ground as he waited. Nothing.. He tried one more time just to make sure and... Still nothing. "Huh. Guess they really are out.
