Time's offered gifts seemed to be an odd mix; several creepy crawlies paired with two generously sized bottles of dye. She explained, quietly, that it was meant to permanently stain the fur of the user, and that some of the lions within their pride had used it with satisfactory results.
Heart moved within the tunnels, offering a final farewell and thanks. Her pawsteps soon faded off, the noise replaced with the soft chatter of her young ward. Though still so nervous that her muscles were twitching slightly, Time seemed rather knowledgeable- at least in the practical sense, if not lacking wit. She filled the time with talk of their earlier kings; Shadow, who few talked of now that he was dead, and Cloud, who was climbing in age and would soon be as distant of a memory as their first king. She spoke of Heart, too; how the new Queen had challenged her predecessor, not entirely kindly, but had spared his life even when her victory was clear and assured. She was not as generous as their past leaders, already, but she was practical and cared for her pride. She retold Heart's stories; of the Queen's sister, no older than Time herself, and of her parents, a strange King more in tune with his primal roots and a female hybrid. She passed the time with her own stories, too- of her Pride, of her family, of herself. She talked herself hoarse, sitting beside Icestar and motioning excitedly with her paws when she did, face open and ardent.
Just when she was beginning to think she may actually run out of things to say, soft pawsteps sounded closer. Heart's ward had no concept of how long she'd actually been gone, but she knew that it was worryingly long. Heart, a dangerous, risk taking leader with fire at her paws and her face of marble. Heart, who when she resurfaced with the fruits of her labor, allowed Time to- entirely inappropriately, as they were before someone who was still a stranger to them- skitter forward and embrace her in glee. "Queen Heart!" She chirped, while the young ruler gently pried her off and gave her a brisk but fond lick between the ears. "Thank you, guardian of the tunnels, for allowing me to so selfishly seek for riches, and for caring for my ward as I did." She'd hardly seen Time happier.

as the large male approached you, his head hung low and he sighed deeply before slowly looking up,
"hello icestarz … I'm here to go in the tunnels again..."
his voice sounded slower than normal, he didn't look happy, there was something on his mind...he just looked a mix between sad and worried...
he sat down next to you and tried to put on a fake smile as he looked back down... his attempt failed and he just sighed again...

With two shining golden beetles and shocking red paint, Heart could quite agree that going through the treacherous tunnels had been worth it. A slight smile upon her expression, the Queen swept her tail about the bouncing Time, gently setting her spoils into the younger she-lion's satchel. "I think that I just may do that. Once more, thank you for allowing me to do this. Perhaps I will return later, either with my sister or another of my wards..." Shaking her head to clear her thoughts of her rambling, the Queen bowed her head in respect after. "I hope to see you again soon, Icestar," She finally said in terms of farewell, departing gladly with her shivering ward at her side.

Tigermane legs still feel stiff from his escapade in the tunnels. He stands up and arches his back into a long and satisfying stretch. He yawns and shakes out his mane in attempt to get out all the leaves and dirt from the cave. He pads out of the small cave he settled into for the night and into the day light to reveal the wide open clearing. He squints his eyes and let the fresh air bathe his mouth., "Prey.." he thinks to himself as he breathes out. He can smell a small lamb that must have escaped the humans and it's gates. He looks across the large clearing and in the distance sees the tunnels in which he went into the other day. He can very vaguely see the same feline that greeted him the other day greeting other travelers. It is true, he liked being near others and he kind of grew fond over the feline. Even though it was only a small period of time, he liked her company. "Maybe if I bring her some prey, we can talk again and I can check out the tunnels.." He mumbles, only to catch himself saying his thoughts aloud. He sniffs the air and catches the scent trail of the small lamb and starts trailing after it. After not too long, he found it grazing under a small oak tree in a small opening of the forest, opposite of the field that he settled by for the night. He creeps around and stalks the young lamb, making sure it doesn't hear him. After going into a semi open spot behind a bush, he leaps out, confident he can land easily on the small lamb. His theory was quickly proven correct as he lands squarely on the lamb, and killing it with a quick bite to the neck. "Perfect, this will do just fine." He muses as he picks up the prey and makes his way back to the tunnels. He notices the same spot he crept out of the shadows yesterday to greet the feline and decides to go that way once more. Though he had the lamb carcass in his mouth, he still smelt his scent stale from yesterday. He looks over at the feline through the bushes. He watched a lioness and what seems to be her ward pad away from Icestar, and so he makes his way to the feline, in attempt to make an entrance. The feline, notices the broad mane as soon as he sulked from the shadows, turned to look at him. "Was the a smile on her face?" He shook the thought, not wanting to get ahead of himself and assuming someone likes his presence. "It's only her job." He lectured himself. "She does it for everyone." Still, even while he convinced himself that, he couldn't help but admire the feline. She's very kind and considerate to share the treasures of the tunnels. "Goodmorning!" He mumbled through the lamb caracas only to realize she probably couldn't hear him. He sets down the carcass on the warm, soft grass. "Goodmorning! I thought I should welcome you with some breakfast since I came to bother you again so soon." He chuckled nervously, hoping he wasn't bothering her. "It's just nice to be able to talk to someone, and you seem like good company." He smiles a little awkwardly and sat down. "I hope you like lamb."

The sky now tainted to that of oranges, reds, and pinks shown dimly as the sun which kissed each plant and animal with in it's reach orange. Birds seemed to be nesting down for rest and bats now eagerly swooping about for an early snack before the bugs of the day bed down. Zebra and gazelle getting ready at water's edge to rest. Dried grass dance against each other as the dark body of a hefty lioness pushes her way through the darkened land, blending almost perfectly into the landscape around her. Deep jet eyes look at the guardian. Without a work she enters the caverns once the gateway is opened. Her pelt almost appearing to be star kissed as she slides in, her claws tapping on the hard, chipped stone path. Over head she scans the top, plants hanging down as bugs crawl about. Distracted from above a centipede crawls across her muddied paws. Snarling in a mix of fear and surprise she hops away, her short fur standing on end as her small rounded ears pen back. At noticing it was merely a creepy crawler her lips fall as she sighs, leaning down to ensure the commotion did not harm the little critter. Sighing she continues, ignoring various small creatures, at hearing other lions in the tunnels she hurried the other way, taking slow gentle steps as pebbles roll under her paws. Her breath slowly became the only thing she could hear, growling softly in frustration. Her king sent her here alone, no other lions at her side, and now she was to find something. He didn't tell her what, or where. Just something. Her head presses into a stone in the wall in frustration and exhaustion, though soon enough the stone sunk a bit deeper into place. She quickly stumbles back, watching in amazement as the moss covered stone barrier which once held its position slid out of the way, revealing a darkened room. Gently she walked in, bolting out at any sudden sounds, not really wanting to get trapped in the darkened depths of the chasm. A little moon light filters through the top of the cavern revealing an odd trinket. Gently she laying her mouth around it and drags her treasure out of the tomb. By the time the lioness found her way out the moon was high. Exhausted she flops down into the soft green grass near the guardian, panting as dry dust sticks to her nose and paws. Her jet eyes look down, her claws sinking into the dirt, for the first time ever just so happy to have soft ground under her paws.

He paused and waited for IcestarZ to open the gates.

The little axolotl crawled out of her sleeping bag and stretched, seeing Icestar waiting by the entrance of the gate.

Lotl cooked up two cured fish that she had in her backbag and proceeded to head towards the brilliant blue feline, Lotl offered a fish to her as she ate her own fill for the day. "Yum!! These fishes the village pollymom are wonderful! Last forever and cook really well! want to try one dear Icestar?"
