about a good 20 minutes later he walked back out, carrying what he found on his back, he looked a little more relaxed.

Tigermane chuckled and layed down again. "Thank you, my father always said I talked to much.." He felt his ears go flat at the memory and a shiver goes down his spine. Not wanting to worry the feline, he laughs it off. "But that's a story for another time." He said a little too quickly for his taste, but he brushes it off. "I'm sure she won't push me to talk about something I'm uncomfortable with." He thought as he glanced at the kind feline enjoying the lamb. "In fact, I'm glad you really like it, the lamb I mean. That means I did something right." He muses. "Say, I saw some lion come by with cubs, you have any of your own?" He asked with curiosity, only to realize right after that the statement might have been too straight forward. Considering he only had just met the feline the other day. "S-sorry, you don't have to answer that if it makes you uncomfortable." He laughs nervously, hoping he didn't just scare away his company.

Icestar giggled. "It's alright. I do actually have kits of my own, Quite a few actually! But they live in different clans, Similar to prides but our line of leaders are alot more complicated than yours." She told him. The two chatted for awhile about many different topics as they ate their lambs.

After an hour, Tigermane finally stood up and shook out his hefty mane. "Wow, was it already mid day?" He thought as he looked up at the setting of the sun against the bright blue sky. "I'll get rid of the bones and be right back." Tigermane said as he picked up the bones and carried them in the bushes to bury them. As he dug his long claws into the soft dirt, he thought about what Icestar told him. Clans? What were those? Were they much different than prides? And are they truly more different and complicated? He continued venturing his thoughts and the probabilities as he pushed the bones into the ground and buried them. He makes his way back to Icestar and sees her talking to a young lion that went into the cave earlier. As the lion left with his prize he must have gotten in the tunnel, Tigermane padded back up to Icestar. "I see another has come out of the tunnels?I think he was the second within the hour, hmm.. not sure, lost track." He chuckled as he sad by the feline. "I think I took up enough of your time, I think I'll be going back into the tunnels." He said, shaking out his mane of any dirt. "If you don't mind, of course." He said, now turning to the feline once more.

"Will do, and the pleasure is all mine!" He said, before getting up and padding to the entrance of the tunnels. Icestar opens the entrance with some form of magic Tigermane doesn't think he'll ever understand and he turns back one last time to say goodbye. After the final farewell he pads into the dark, damp tunnel. It's smell hitting his tongue sharply, making him take a sharker breathe then intended. He sniffs the air while his eyes adjust to the tunnels. He smells his stale scent leading a trail into the tunnels. As he pads forward his eyes adjust to reveal the familiar surroundings of the tunnels. Following his scent, he makes for the fork in the trail that he encountered the first time around. "I went left last time.. I should go a different way now." He says out loud without realizing, as he reminisces his last visit. Finally deciding to go forward this time, the broad, stocky lion makes his way through the tunnel which narrows, he notices, as he continues straight. He feels his mane brush slightly against the cold earth and he flinches at first, but gets used to it after a few moments. "I wonder what will lay ahead?" He thinks to himself as he continues down the path.

Hawthorn passed the guide with twisted intent in his eyes, flowers in his mane nearly covering up the scent of blood on his claws. The malicious king didn't bother with questions, wandering in to turn over rocks and scratch at walls. Despite his cruel eyes and reputation, his massive paws were oddly careful.

Icestar waited patiently for Tigermane's return. She thought about the morning they spent together, It made her feel warm and fuzzy inside knowing that others cared for her let alone other species in general.

The lotl smiled as the feline enjoyed her fish. Looking at the entrance she spoke

"Hey Icestar, May I go on another adventure in there? I'd really love to explore the secret cavern more, maybe we can find more information about those runes on that box, maybe we can figure out what exactly happened to your people!"
