"He's a human, Cora! I don't know, but maybe cat people like you heal faster! He'll recover, but who knows when the war'll happen! It could be tomorrow!" Jace struggled to not shout.

Cora raised an eyebrow, "If he doesn't heal maybe that's a sign of your medical abilities, not my species. Anyway, I doubt the war will happen tomorrow, seeing as no troops have been dispatched yet, though then again we may get the order soon..."

“He’ll heal, but most likely he won’t be able to fight in the war. One less Iedra soldier means that more Iedra soldiers might die,” Jace tried to reason with Cora.

Cora looked down at the soldier who was moaning and clutching his bleeding arm. "Yeah, I don't think he was going to be saving any lives. If anything he'd be one of the first to die, so I just saved his life."

Cora didn't respond, narrowing her eyes at the soldier, "If you really want I could finish him off right now since you said he'll be useless in the war..." The soldier looked at her in terror.

They were attracting attention and Jace was now truly unsure about where Cora's loyalty lay. "Iedra soldiers don't kill their own comrades." was all he said.

Cora crossed her arms, grumbling like a kid who didn't get what they wanted, "Now you sound like my aunt. Oh Cora, you can't just kill the neighbor kids because they bother you. Oh Cora, it doesn't matter if you hate the teacher at your military school and think you could do his job easily, you still can't slip poison into his coffee."

"Maybe you need to go to an asylum instead of a war," Jace helped the soldier stand up.

"Oh come on, you all know what I'm talking about right? Commander Isaic? He was a horrible teacher wasn't he?" Cora asked some of the other soldiers. There were some nods and one person mumbled, "So glad he died of those mysterium circumstances..."

The wounded soldier mumbled his thanks as he kept giving Cora and the other soldiers terrified looks as they kept talking about the "mysterious" circumstances of their military teacher's death.

Jace had another medic take the wounded soldier away and he returned to Cora and the other soldiers. "Cora...Don't ever do that again. Iedra doesn't have infinite soldiers nor infinite military teachers for you to harm."
