It's not rare though. Rare means hard to come by. The APPLICATOR might be rare, but the markings are EVERYWHERE.

A simple search will conclude that.

That's markings in general. They are easy to spread. The only ones that are difficult are the rosettes.

Surprisingly, rosettes aren't that hard to come by either tbh-
And they are definitely not an applicator.

However, this whole argument isn't really about the markings themselves. It's about the cost of the applicator and making it fair for everyone whilst still providing a stable ground for the applicator in the long run.

We shld look at players that don't have money to flush to LD, the free2play players, casual players that log in onlyonce in a few days etc, etc

I guess what it comes down to is that most players don't feel as though these marking apps are worth the price that's being asked. Everyone has an idea of how long it would take them to personally earn that amount (while still continuing to support their pride and play somewhat normally). When they compare how long if would take them to earn the amount to the item they would be buying, they find that it just isn't worth it. And sure, you could say, "well, just don't buy it then," but the whole fun of these events for most people is to get fun apps like this without breaking the bank.

@Roxanne- welcome xD I was doin a list of how I'm gonna make all the money for what I want this year as I was expecting shards to stay used as shop currency so I had the math for the apps added already since that's apparently changed and wants me to suffer lol

edit to add in quick note to Quould- it's not JUST 15k. That's for one item. It's various amounts of SB for the shop plus 5/10k for interstellar quest. July is overall very expensive depending what u want lol.

From a new player perspective these price increases are actually crippling. We don't have anything cool or have lions that are really worth anything because we're new. The only motivation we have to even play the game at all is the fact that we can buy applicators from events to sell later. This is supposed to be one of the events with items that we were told all year we should stock up on so we maybe could have a chance at earning enough for a hybrid or something cool later on that would make the game worth playing. Personally my only motivation for playing at all are the goals I have set, which involves earning enough to be able to do one thing or another on the game. This price hike actually means that we'll be lucky to buy just 1 thing from this event and for many players newer than me, it may mean they won't get anything at all.

I know there are ways new players can earn currency. We can sell food uses, but no one is going to pay SBs for food now and GB value is in the toilet over this whole thing, so we can't get much for our GBs either. GBs used to be equal to 1,000 SBs, but now they are selling for 800 SBs or less and this is only day one of these changes. It makes more sense to just scrap July, save our GBs and pick everything back up again next month. Or at least that is what I have chosen to do. i am planning to take a 3 week hiatus and return next month when things are more stable with the game economy because honestly these changes just sucked all the fun out of playing at all. It's very sad and such a disappointment.

Lmao I COULD make 1k a day and I'm still peeved about these high prices. I could be putting my sb to other things but no I gotta spend it on overpriced apps. Event apps are not a rare item, they are supposed to be easily accessible to people that can put a little time to grind event currency. This has royally screwed the small and big time grinders of event currency that sell later when prices rise after an event is over. That's how a lot of people make their money. Now they have to invest and probably NOT make it back. And this doesn't even include the people that are going to drop 15k+ on an app that they don't even get the marking they want.
