A smooth mew brings your attention to a young lioness, several others following her. You notice a familiar face amongst them.

"Ruby!" Celestial Watcher pushed her way past the others. "Our pride is in debt to you, we wouldn't have made it through that dry patch without you!" She licked behind the cub's ear once again.

"Hello cubs, I'm Burnt Lilly," A piebald purred. "This is Skull Hoarder, Russet Burned and over there Jester Tail!" The large group of lionesses stared eagerly down at the cubs.

"Oops, forgot the real reason were here!" Russet Burned, the eldest of them gave a nervous chuckle. "Skull Hoarder, bring the beetles. Jester Tail, get ready! How much with 270 silver beetles grant us?" Skull Hoarder dropped a large bag of squirming insects in front of Obsidian, knocking it over ever so slightly enough for the beetles enough to scatter away and escape from the bag.

"Oops," Skull Hoarder smirked, earning her a smack over the head by Jester Tail.

"Bismuth, Obsidian, I'm so sorry for this delinquent's actions!" Jester Tail gasped and begun to scoop up the bugs, her tone was very sarcastic but at least she was able to put Skull Hoarder in her place. "Anyways, Crystal... 270 beetles gets us...?"

Ruby Blushes from embarrassment a little, you can tell she's not used to the attention
"Hello Lilly! Let me think 270 Silver Beatles? Ruby how much?" Crystal looks at Ruby questioningly
"U-uh I believe 54 uses of food" she says quietly

The lighter-tan lioness huffed and looked over at her fellow tan-white patched lioness, Who in response sat down and curled her long slender though tufted tail over her paws before nodding in approval with wise, Kind eyes. The darker-tan female playfully swatted at the 2 little cubs tusseling with eachother at her paws, She batted her unclawed paws agasint the back of their heads gently, Making one of them turn onto their back and begin biting and kicking at her paw, Weak and high pitched growls coming from the little cub, As the other charged into the darker-tan lioness's side, Only to be stopped by a harsh, though gentle lash of her tail, Which caused the small cub to wrap its little paws around her tail and begin biting at the tuft of hair at the end with small needle-like teeth. The lighter-tan lioness's whiskers twitched in amusement and she purred lightly. She blinked slowly and dipped her head in approval to the deal, Pushing the large pile of scrambling shiny beetles over to the small cub. This lioness seemed to have many months to feed. As a bit of debris flew onto her smooth, white patterned coat, Her fur rippled to reveal hardened muscles, Though spots of her fur looked to be torn out in few places and parts of her fur were shorter than others in patches.

The cubs look at the lionesses and then one speaks up
"Are you guys ok? And is the 140 uses enough?" Obsidian speaks up

The lighter-tan lioness smiled. "Yes, Yes that will be good enough for us all, Isnt that right Kaja?" She looked over at the darker-tan lioness, Who nodded in agreement.

Burnt Lilly, seeming just as embarrassed gave a little nod, clearly becoming a bit uncomfortable at the cub's own embarsment. Russet Burned slipped in-between Celestial and Lilly. "Yes, of course, thank you. Skull Hoarder, help the cubs, they deserve a bit of a break from yanking prey back to and forth! Jester Tail, carefully hand over the beetles if you could."

"Thank you again! Be sure to look out for us again, my mother and our pride leader, Frosted Fern, would like to meet you eventually! Our hunters are working harder as well now that we've gotten back in our feet--Youll have to meet my daughters!" Celestial thanked the cubs again, leaning over. "And, Young Ruby, might I add that your plans to sell your left over prey is genius! Credit to your for the idea!"

"th-thanks, but the credits all to crystal, I just count the food and run the numbers" she says shyly
"It's not a big deal we just always have extra food" crystal adds
"We can't wait to meet them!" Crystal and ruby says almost at the same time
As the other two cubs drag carcasses out of the pit then after a second ruby counts them up and they swap the food for SB

"Ah, there you are. I am in need of food for my pridemates." He said sheepishly and smiled a little. He was embarrassed because he was slacking in his work and doesn't want his mates to leave the pride he spent so long on building.

He stiffened and bowed his head slightly. "Uhm.... Well, how about 107 uses... I hope I can pay for that amount." He murmurs and looks up at them again, his ears laying back
