I'm curious how each month's events rank within the playerbase! In your comments, feel free to list the event(s) you like the most as well as the one(s) you dislike. You can give reasons why if you so desire c:

I'm going to include every month in my list, but you don't have to add all of them if you don't want to!

Updated list as of 8/2/2023:
February - I don't hate the imagery, though it may be a bit awkward if someone's peeking over your shoulder, lol. Love the breeding items!
October - The theme is so fun! Fighting the enemies feels like it gives a decent amount of currency most of the time, and it's cool to have different encounters when exploring at night.
August - Maybe it's the fact that July was kind of overwhelming this year (could never really find the time to go through my Meteorite Shards, so I have about 1500 for next year), but I have a strong appreciation for how relaxed this event feels in comparison. No more dealing with battling all the time, just clicking between Good and Evil choices depending on what you want. Ahhh.
September - Need Gnawrocks and Saltlicks for my project, haha. Still don't really like the locusts (yuck!) but I was dramatic when I posted this, and it was fairly ignorable last year if I remember correctly :v I have missed using regular energy!!
May - Championships were ok! I managed to stick at the top of my stat bracket for a good part of the month, so I won a decent amount of trophies and currency. Not a whole lot of interest in the items, though it still has good stuff. Also, GROUPIES. I always side with V'Kai in case I get one with a cool marking or a mutation!
July - I like being able to, y'know, afford stuff in this event. Looking at a certain... June-ish... month. While the entire event was a bit much with a storyline, quests, rare applicator in regular Explore, and another whole Explore with battling and juggling energy, switching between everything... AGH! I was SO tired by the 25th, the last day of the storyline. That said, I still love the bases and markings in this event every year, the decor is awesome, and the art is absolutely stunning.
June - I love the Egyptian theme, and the bases are generally pretty good. Some of them are among my favorite applicator bases. But, the event feels pretty unrewarding. I was able to explore pretty damn extensively this year and only ended up finishing with around 3000 KB across both accounts. I might've started with leftovers from last year and maybe bought an app halfway through the month (I don't remember), but considering the amount of decor and prices of everything, it would be impossible to afford more than a couple apps at all. I'm saving all my currency for 2024 to see if they lower the prices a bit or increase the amount of currency gained for defeating those damn snakes.
April - Still love Wenet! I'm not a big statter though, so the Easter Egg currency doesn't mean much to me beyond the new decors that get released each year. I hoard them Roasted Lambs though
December - It's a fun time of year. I like the gifting and pooping system just fine. It kind of sucks to open all your gifts and get a bunch of junk, but... you can't expect people to give good stuff to EVERY den they visit. The 888 gift thing is also a bit too much for me to attain (reason why I'm stuck on the Vredefort quest is the visiting dens bit) since it's so tedious. I really liked seeing other event NPCs in Explore though!
January - Eeehhh, kinda boring. Laharu is cute, I guess. The Explore imagery was also kind of sad. Regarding currency, I don't like having to use SB to buy apps and things from the shop, but I do like using my LB getting a ton of Leopard Orchids this month. Gotta get me through the rest of the year's chased NCLs :p
November - BORING! NEXT!
March - Horrific imagery in Explore :( Though, I like some of the decor and backgrounds, and the apps are decent.

Old list from 10/23/2021:
February - I think the explore encounters are fun, personally! Not to mention it's the season of breeding items
October - I seem to go on hiatus around this time so I kind of forgot, but I didn't this year :D I like the unique battle enemies of heaven and hell, and it feels awesome to get up to 14 currency in certain battles as opposed to... 1...
June - A cool storyline, and I love the bases each year (especially this year's!)
December - The season of giving! And blue bases x) The explore encounters are extra cute this month.
May - In previous years I didn't care for groupies so it used to be low on my list, but now I can't live without my heritageless babies
April - Wenet is gloriously eccentric!
January - I like the food pile lol
November - I'm a huge hoarder and this is my main way of getting herbs, since I don't have beetle patience
July - This past year's was... interesting. Not sure how I feel about losing the old storyline though. I did like it, for the most part.
September - I ALWAYS GO ON HIATUS AROUND SEPTEMBER. The shops are the saving grace, I think, because it's kind of icky otherwise. Just... I can feel the bugs flapping around in my head when I see them lmao, eww locusts
August - Thirst is suuuch a drag, man. Plus it felt like my currency went away quickly with the savages costing so much to give me POTATOES.
March - I don't remember March. Lol.

July and June would be near the top because I love space and I love mythology. Personally not a huge fan of the July storyline though. And I kind of wish June had some marking apps.

Near the bottom would be February (Good items but the mating encounters make me uncomfortable) and August because it doesn't have any base apps or marking apps. It has a couple eye apps, but I'm not fond of the way those eyes look. Plus I dislike having to make mean choices on one account to open both shops. XD

April and September don't have marking or base apps either, but they do have the ncl markings you can later apply with piety in November. Plus April is just kind of fun.

The dislike of months without marking apps somewhat comes from it messing up my plans to create a lioness with a marking from each event (I ended up making one with an attribute from each event instead.)

im gonna drop real unpopular opinions lmao

april - lil biased because I joined then-- but I like most of decor and bg there. I just have good memories for that first year, it makes me feel warm around heart
june - Egyptian theme I ADORE, and I DO enjoy just battling npc... I dont really like events where I need to look up wiki and memorize which actions are bad and which will get me best curency. it is simple and I hope it stays like so, not every even needs to have so much going on---

idk rest, I dont have much opinions on? they are neat?

july - esp since it was redone, it again has too much going on, and even before it was too much shops, places
october - too much thematicly for me.... rabbies + angels vs demons AND halloween-- also I don't Nirah, I skip dialogues but when I read them I cringe. I don't like any npcs that do romantical moves towards my lion(s) (yes, I minus points for Wenet in april there ppfft)
february - yes breeding items are fun, but i hate encounters, I just don't like vibe, I hate to remmeber each 15 min to flirt and I hate to see flirt pop ups in general. fight me lmao. if it isn't so much profit month I would just remove event activity, constant grind is tiring
march - traps are annoying af, again, gotta look up at wiki too offten to see which stupid move will cost be energy and hunger :V

I just like simplier and more chill stuff, I wanna relax and mindlessly go

January- Ooh I’m gonna get a lot of flack for this but Laharu annoys me as a character. And I’m not a fan of events that have gloomy vibes so this isn’t my favorite

February- I think it’s implied that almost every player likes Feb LOL I can’t help but get overwhelmed and pressured this month though. I always get burnt out the first week in, go on hiatus the rest of the month, and forget to spend event currency 💀 got 1k HS stashed atm

March- Usually still on hiatus. I know it’s supposed to invoke strong emotions and tug on your heart strings, but I simply can’t do it 💔

April- a lot of people dislike this event but to me it’s so charming and I love the primordial spring this is usually when I break my hiatus

May- This event is so dull and boring I hate it. The best part is when it’s almost about to end.

June- I didn’t rlly participate in this event in the past until like last year. I used to enjoy this event but this year I personally didn’t have a good experience.

July- I’ve been around for a while and I remember when the event was just the civil war storyline. I do get overwhelmed by all the changes and new additions like there’s so much to do. But ig that’s a good thing because you literally can’t get bored lmao. Although I’m not a fan of the Tefnut memory thing the price for SB is insanely high imo.

August- This is the thirst one right? All I remember was enjoying fire escape

September- Im gonna be honest I don’t think I’ve ever participated in this event. Maybe I played for a few days but that’s it. I blame school since this is when fall semester really kicks in

October- for some reason I am always active during October. This is when I first joined. I rlly like the storyline, the vibes, npcs

November- God I hate this month. It’s probably my least favorite since there’s nothing really of value in the event market. It’s also my birth month and I’m salty I have a lame event lmao. For some reason, I ALWAYS without fail forget to spend my event currency at the end of the month so I get pissed that I have nearly 1K stashed away

December- I already love December irl as a month due to Christmas. I just love the vibes. Seeing past npcs in explore always makes my day. And I like the event apps

For me: (I haven't played consistently in febuary yet, sorry febuary truthers :,D)
--------------------------
1. July
July's just always been hype for me, so I'm excited when it comes around! This might just be because I've played both the old and new versions of July, and honestly, new July is such a massive step up it's ridiculous! :D (EDIT: By this, I mean 2023's 'new' July, not 2022's 'new' July. 2022's July was cool, but it felt more like Wolvden than Lioden and I missed the branching story when it was gone :,D ) It's really a testament to what the LD team can do with events, and it always hits me so hard just how much it changes the game.
--------------------------
2. September
When I played sept. for the first time I was a newb, so maybe I'm biased, but holy hell did I have fun with it that first time!! I didn't finish the storyline, so maybe that's part of why I'm so excited for it to come back! Also, the rewards for this event are also really cool - both the events and the really helpful breeding items, including the GMO cow and Ochre Gnawrock, which are insanely expensive outside of this event.
--------------------------
3. October
The vibe of the community in October is something else. The Heaven vs. Hell seems to make people rise from inactivity to take a side, and it's really cool! It was also my first event, so there's that too lol. The decors are fantastic, and the heavenly blessing is an honestly slept on item that is so incredibly useful in and out of season.
--------------------------
4. November
People sleep so hard on this event it's unreal - I almost never hear anyone talk about it, but when it comes to utility, it's a head above most other events in the game! The chance to get NCL BO markings from the February, April, and September events with Piety is incredibly powerful for breeding projects, and the craftable bases are valuable for breeding combo bases. An increase in your stats for Piety is - especially when your level is high enough that level-ups are few and far-between - game-changing. If only September's Ochre Gnawrock was in this event, it would be perfect (For me!! For me.)
--------------------------
5. December
I love the gifts that the December event brings us, but in my experience, this event is heavily geared towards longtime players. The cub challenges are great if you have an account with lots of lions and breeding items, but not so great if your account was created close to or during this event.
--------------------------
6. May
This event sounds so cool outside of the month, but inside of the month, it feels a bit like a grind. Groupies are really great for heritageless kings, but to get the most out of them, you need to plan carefully around account freezing or timings for breeding projects, so ironically, the most fun choice for participating in the event, for me, is to use Vashkartzen's energy boost instead to reap the rewards that were already in explore outside of the event. It feels really good to win tournaments, though, and lion balls are relatively painless to farm.
--------------------------
7. August
The studs are one of the best parts of this one. I'm a Scoundrel lover and it's so nice to have a way to get their markings without having to use randomly generated lionesses! The lore around the event is also exciting to me - aside from adding another bar to keep track of, which is annoying, I love how the environment changes around the event! Honestly, this event feels like the March event with a lot more depth and features applied. EDIT: I forgot a lot of things about this event, the most pressing of which is the fact that it comes directly after the July event, which always leaves me feeling that post-July depression. I knocked this event from 4th to 7th because of that :,)
--------------------------
8. January
Laharu is love, Laharu is life. A lot of this event feels a bit like a lottery, and I hate that most of the best rewards cost silver beetles to buy. I don't want to farm for two separate currencies to get things from this event! However, (unsure if this is still a thing, I was on hiatus last January) but there was a gimmick this month where carcasses were harder to get. It shook up the market, but overall, it was annoying, especially if you have a lot of lions.
--------------------------
9. April I love you, Wenet, but for me, this event is a bit of a nothing burger. The NCL markings are pretty, but in my experience, egg yolks are infuriatingly luck-based, and we have enough luck-based mechanics in Lioden already without trading in a large amount of egg points for another one. If you don't care about stats, then this event is even more of a skip. Grinding out EP for yolks to sell later is pretty lucrative, though.
--------------------------
10. June
These last two were difficult to place, because both have their problems, but I believe that June has a better argument for not being last. I think that this event is mainly for base breeders and decorators, and if you aren't interested in either of those things, this event might be a drag. The decors are what won this one over March for me - the decors are really stunning, and every year I see people who farm just to get them, and players who lost out on them asking where to get them in the forums. The decors are probably the best out of any month, but the combat is painful.
--------------------------
11. March
The idea of this event is really cool, and the explore encounters are moving, but the truth is that there aren't many motivators to play the game event-wise in March. People wait for this event because of the Mukombero, which, because of its encounter's extreme rarity, most people will not get. Outside of the big M, there are some alright decors, and human livers, which are pretty niche. It still confuses me why Haliotis is only craftable during March, as the materials to make it are much easier to farm in other months. I just don't get it..?
--------------------------

FAVORITES - Most to Least
October: It's my favorite month IRL and in Lioden. I absolutely love the markings and decors, and every single year I look forward to October. There's so much for everyone during October. Still hopeful for soft orange pumpkin marks and bases some year maybe.

September: I love the decors and themes of the Harbinger event. I always look forward to new ones every year to make spooky lions! It's great when you pair them with October's decors! Since adding the Omen backgrounds, I have been IN LOVE!

November: DINOSAURS AND PREHISTORIC LIONS *frothing*

February: Money money. I don't breed anything that needs breeding items, and the bases are colour groups I don't breed and markings I don't really use, so this event is just raw profit for me.

January: Giant Torts. I tend to keep stat kings. Also lotta bones and Primal Apps. Hell yea.

April: EGG and the spring is good.

July: This event used to be my other top favorite, but it is quickly frustrating me. I joined Lioden for a game about lions, and more and more, the content is no longer about lions. July is one of the biggest examples of my frustrations. Instead of letting us explore the celestial kingdom on a starry savannah, to take part in a heated war between Apademak's people and Apollyon's people - or between Menhit's kingdom and a dangerous enemy (maybe she's fighting the dragons?) - we got a lot of content that has nothing to do with lions, with Lioden, and it keeps getting sillier. Now there's space ships and space jellyfish and it's just all over the place. This event is messy and weird. It would have been nice if the devs had listened to what players were saying, and just edit the story parts people had an issue with, rather than trying to move away from the celestial kingdom entirely. It's still in favorites because my favorite bases, markings, eyes and decors can be found here. But ultimately, I've been very disappointed in how this event has progressed.

August: Manes and backgrounds.

DISLIKED - Most to Least
December: Every year I watch main chat for new players who are excited about this event. Every year I give them something nice, because I know most of the community will use their piles to give them wallow pit trash to complete their goals and seeing how hurt they are when 300 bundles are almost exclusively garbage breaks my heart. I hate this event. December is already hard for a lot of people, and this event seems like it makes it worse.

March: This is my birth month and it's very cool to get to log in and see animals chopped up and dead cats. Exactly what I wanted on my birthday. /s

June: Anubis is a trash diety who needs to work for his meals. I've been going with Set so I can actually win fights. I'm kind of fed up with snake shop being 90% snake battle sprite copy pastes and little decor content. The bases cost too much and it's the only event where they don't roll back old app prices. The grind for this month is needlessly hard. I dislike that they added yet another shop, and I was excited for the new encounters but they're kind of lackluster.

May: Boy oh boy I sure love how useless Vkai is. I always pick Vash, because his rewards feel more useful than hoping I get lucky. I only like the body paints and masks.

My filthy casual list:

July: Space dragons, bright colors for my fellow colorbomb whores, beautiful decor and similar to WDs Lunar Event
October: My favorite holiday in general, all of the decors kick ass and I've honestly learned more about mythologies based on this event
May: The groupie mechanic is addictive
September: Harbinger my beloved, and the omens are metal
November: Free rather nice apps, cool fossils and talking to the Dynasty lions is nice
June: Cool vibe but could be fleshed out a bit
April: Flower decor
January: Not my favorite story. Cool apps tho. It's funny how the starvation themed event makes it so easy to feed everyone
February: Flower decor but awkward to play in public
December: I kinda find the shtick juvenile. Also it feels like you kinda have to know people
August: Just find it kinda boring and gives me a weird secondhand discomfort
March: Can't stomach it

My list as of August:

July - Really liked the space explore & the celestial portal, they're basically an exp+impression farm as long as you can beat them/have fodder lions! Literally they're the reason July is so high up the list so far. Also most of the event bases, eyes, & apps are so pretty! I really love the decors & bgs too, I bought so much, and I like how affordable everything is. And in early-to-mid July, the : ratio drops bc of the adventure quest, which certainly helps. My only issues w/ it are that the storyline feels too disjointed from the rest of the event (at least the Demiurge is involved in the event features), and the enemies don't give enough exp relative to their actual difficulty. Considering how the overhaul went, it's unlikely to change anytime soon :(. Overall it's been neat, and I like that there's so much to do, though it could use some improvement
October: Honestly a blast, I actually like the more battle-centric theme of the event bc I don't have to juggle grinding for exp and actually participating in the event like with certain other events. There's just so much stuff to do, and for the most part, it never felt boring. The decors are cool, and the apps are mostly great. My one complaint is with the storyline and its quests. It feels very incomplete and honestly after a while I kinda forgot that there even is one. Also, once you get to 200 Reputation, it becomes pretty worthless, and once you have the wings/whip you'll get there really quickly. Also, while the apps are pretty, most of them are kinda samey looking w/ the black and red (Harvest Moon is a step in the right direction but still)
April - Wenet is bby, & the event decors are neat. Also, all those lucky feet really helped me out in June & July. However, it gets somewhat boring when you get past the storyline & I dread the GOD. DAMN. LAMB. QUEST. The age up spring, bunny tunnels, & ostrich pen are great features, though I may be biased because I like high stats. Also, egg yolk good.
September - Similar to April, except instead of egg yolks it's gnawrocks & GMO cows. Tbh the only major downside is that event encounters are pretty variable; I've gone multiple energy bars w/o a single JB encounter. Otherwise, it's pretty cool, and I usually don't have an issue with event currency. The storyline is personally the strongest part of the event; I really enjoyed Harbinger & the omens, & the spooky stuff is super cool. No special gimmicks like July & April, but otherwise a solid event & definitely one I'll look forward to seeing again.
May - Storyline's neat, and the lion balls don't hurt. The challenges & tournaments were such a pain tho, especially the stat bracket bs. And all the marking apps suck so much. Glad they finally let you convert Arena Tokens into MB, crazy how much I got by the end of May. I know V'Kai's boons are more valuable in the long run, but Vash's boons are a godsend for me. The best part was the way the storyline daily quests were organized, I like raking in the currency.
March - Eh, didn't see much. It seems cool though, and the apps are all alright. The traps were a pain though, but I guess that's March for ya
June - Love the apps, the decor, the combos, & the lore, hate everything else. Beating snakes gives way too little in exp/impression/kb relative to their difficulty, Anubis rarely pitches in, pretty much any battle quest that doesn't include the snakes is impossible to finish w/o snake scent/catnip, the bases' high prices don't make sense with how many there are now, and the whole side storyline expansion was handled pretty badly. Just, yeah...
August - Aside from the studs & buffies, it's just April but worse. Why does the vulture chase & herd tracking event cost event currency now when April's shit was free? Why does the Good/Evil system make no sense? And speaking of studs, they are too expensive to be worth it. Why cash out 3 worth of currency for one when you can wait for a player to king a better looking/higher stat lion with the traits I want at a lower price, especially since earning is more difficult than usual this month? I'm here only for buffies, food, & statting my adols, but depending on how next year's February & April will turn out for me, I'll probably skip August next year.

Predictions for other months:

September - Well it's my birth month so I'm gonna be biased towards it, also it sounds a lot better than August.
October - Also sounds great, can't wait to check out the storyline and get some cool decor. There are way too many black and red apps tho, can we at least get a cooler-toned wraith/ghost based app?
November - Hmm, 50/50 chances I'll like it. There's are lot of stuff I like, but I don't like natural looking apps, and I've heard many horror stories about the explore-based quests, so...
December - Also sounds fun. It's stupid, but in a silly way. The wallow pit seems pretty unnecessary though, it's only there because there has to be something for poops
January - Meh, don't have high hopes. Everything in the shops look drab and boring, and of course the carrion shop uses . If I don't have a good time on January I'll probably skip it
February - I've heard a lot of good things about it, mostly the moneyprinter & pretty shop stuff parts of it. I don't really mind the more awkward encounters, and the shops have so much useful shit like leopard orchids, stat items, breeding items, etc. Really hoping my first February turns out great :)

Only the months I've done so far (from most to least favorite):

1. July. So much to do, so much to buy. I love the storyline, I love Celestial Explore, and I love all the decors. The portal and the 'kill/reverse lions' quests really cut down on tree fodder and really made you want to keep only special lions again, instead of churning out trash and potatoes. For once I was able to buy everything I wanted and craft most of what I wanted. Even better, the grind was manageable. When I had the time I could do long shifts in Celestial Explore... without having to worry every 15 or 30 minutes about grinding for currency.

2. September. This month's not even over yet and it's almost at my top spot :D I love the Harbinger and how fair even his hard quests are. I'm gonna buy EVERYTHING for this month. Everything is fair and balanced, with just the right amount of creepy imagery to make me excited for my first October :)

3. February. I raked in SO much currency, but that 15 minute HS timer really made me exhausted by the month's end. Also got burned on my YB breedings. Love the decor, but that timer and some of the imagery made this event not quite my favorite.

4. December. I randomly got the itch to start playing this game back last December, and I was NOT disssappointed :D Despite losing out on the first half of the month, I still made enough currency to give my very first king a glow-up in apps and decor. I didn't even really mind all the junk that was gifted to me XD You can still sell that stuff for SB or use it for crafting. Most of the encounters were cute or funny.

5. January. I love Laharu and his quests, but most of the decor and apps are NOT my cup of tea. At least I got some tortoises, primal MoDs, and flowers out of it.

6. March. The imagery for this event isn't really that bad. Wasn't a fan of most of the decor, but I got some nice backgrounds and apps out of it.

7. April. Meh. I got some neat backgrounds and roasted lambs out of it. No luck with the NCLs or the Wenet cousins giving me anything good. And, despite all those flowers I collected alongside and everything I hoard, I STILL can't create any of those stupid bases or marking apps except the Hibiscus one. At least the grinding for the quests wasn't bad, and I appreciated the fountain of youth. I needed those two extrea years on my king to train up my heir.

8. May. The RNG was not kind with me for winning tournaments. There weren't enough prizes awarded for the sheer amount of crafting materials there are for this month. I had to grind like crazy just to create ONE app. The liklihood of finding thing like tuft hairs definitely needs to be upped.

I went with V'kai on both accounts. Too many ugly apps with Vash and I'm that that big into stat training. With V'kai I got three clean groupies I kinged or am gonna king as heritage reps, alongside a Ripe, Sunspot, and Haliotis groupie.

9. August. Really not a fan of the thirst mechanic, or the amount of useless herbs I accumulated that don't even work for the Demiurge quest. ("Every herb counts" my ass, Demiurge. Fix the phrasing in that one.) I mean, is it so hard to add an option to give one of those herbs to those all those animals dying heat in exchange for more currency and good karma instead of an endless amount of carcasses? Like, despite the lionesses failing in some hunts, there was still so much food going around it crashed the economy. Except for the manes, not a fan of most of the decor either, and I wasted so much money on potatoes from the wild studs.

10. June. Last place because of how much a dissappointment it turned out to be. I was psyched for the quests and all that pretty Egyptian decor since December... and then I slogged through in the most aggravating rip-off that almost made me quit the game again. Those new quests turned out to be near impossible to unwinnable until the devs tweaked things later in the month. With how hard currency is to get and how many vital apps there are for combo breeding, the stores should NOT be that expensive. And, like, how are we missing so much ACTUAL Egyptian decor like 5 or 6 years in? The Red, White, and Blue Crowns. Lapis lazuli jewelry (y'know, that beautiful blue and gold combo.) A headpiece or collar like in King Tut's signature funeral mask.

Mine go:

October - favorite month, favorite holiday, and I have a strong morbid fascination with rabies which helps lol. love the apps, love the battling-centric event without any timed interval stuff (hello, feb flirts / may challenges) and crunchies tend to be my main source of income over the year. overall perfect event IMO

February - to the surprise of no one, it's the hybrid breeding event. all the mating encounters make it a really bad idea to play in public on campus or something but it's a minor inconvenience. and who doesn't love gambling?! i looooove rolling the dice on hybrid heats and this year's was pretty good for me. only complaint is the flirts, which get annoying lol but a nice way to grab some extra hs.

April - <3 Wenet <3 enough said. The roasted lambs are nice too. Missed this year sadly b/c of lack of motivation to play.

December - gifting / pooping is fun. good explore events. good apps. overall nice time

All the other events are various levels of "meh" for me, which is nothing to speak of their quality necessarily, just how I've grown to feel about them and if they're worth rolling away years of my lions' lives for LOL
I feel like I would like September if I ever actively played through it... but I usually hiatus through August and then college starts back up in the interim, so by the time I remember LD it's almost over lmao
I don't feel like January, March, August, or November specifically offer enough to roll over. June is fine, just repetitive now b/c I've done the storyline like... 2 times? 3? And I haven't done anything in July since the event revamp. I explored a little bit the first year it changed and just got confused. May's groupies are fun and add the gambling aspect in as well but it's usually not financially productive unfortunately - unless you freeze an account to preserve egg yolks. Sucks that a lot of my opinions are based on lion capitalism aspects but that's how it is

1, February because who doesnt love it? Arguably the easiest event to grind for the worth you get out of it
2. May is really fun and I like the groupie bases we get from them
3. August cause i LOVE savage studs
4. September because of the great items in shop
5. April is nice because its a bit of a slow pace, but wenet/wenet cousins at the end of the month keep you logging on. I also like the shop decor.
6. December would be in my top 5 but i cannot stand the constant "poop me"/veiled begging/straight up begging and the ungrateful people in chat that cry when they aren't gifted a million GB
7. January is fun, I have a shop with leopard orchids so I just spam buy those to stockpile for the rest of the year
8. June has really good apps and combo bases, but that's the only reason I play it.
9. November is a bit forgettable, I like using piety for NCL markings though!
10. March upsets me, the treasure hunt made it a bit more bearable but if that becomes a mini event then march stays a least favorite.
11. October is meh. I'm not a fan of having to cleanse rabies every 15 minutes. The shops arent my taste at all.
12. July god I hate july. It used to be my favorite event but the rehaul of the event entirely ruined it for me. The battles are impossible. Only good thing is the celestial rl and those are one in a million anyways,

October - Fun (but as of now short) storyline and spooky time! I love some Halloween fun.

December - I'm immature I love the fun Explore encounters, fun decor, including decor featuring various different December holidays around the world, and a good excuse to gift friends. I also get covered in giant pouched rats for Christmas, so that's a nice plus.

April - lovely decor and a fun theme coupled with a storyline, and the first ever on Lioden, too!

February - good profit month with nice decor. I also love reading people's silly lioness names for the month and seeing the LGBTQA+ representation.

July - spaaaaace! Also, a good storyline and some pretty nice applicators and decor. However, I have mixed feelings about the explore mechanic. I do prefer the old July event, though I do think that the storyline change was a good call.

June - Ancient Egyptian theme! Nice decor and a great storyline. However, otherwise, I find this one pretty bland. Outside of the storyline and event shops, all you have to do is fight snakes. At least the Pride Month event runs alongside it.

May - Fun storyline and some nice decor, and the arena mechanic is fairly fun. However, I do sadly find this one a little bland.

November - extinct animals and piety are cool, but otherwise, I don't find it interesting.

January - Fun storyline, but uninteresting overall, and it doesn't have good enough event items to make up for it.

September - Fun theme, but again, boring, which is a shame, as I like it in theory.

August - *drumroll* it's boring! I do like the event studs, though.

March - I don't mind the gore, but I just find this one very dull and frustrating, with some encounters being karma gambles, battle gambles, and traps. I DO like that proceeds go to charity, however.

Bonus: the old June event - I'd rank this just above new June. I liked it! It was complicated, but I am the sort that likes complicated events. The event items weren't interesting, however. It would be AMAZING if both of the events were combined.
