Hey everyone! Cute drawing :) Just some lore behind my clan; it’s based off of astrology and zodiacs, and each starting member will have a planet prefix. I’d like for each of them to have a power once we evolve to that :) they are influenced by planetary movements and alignments, and worship certain astrological events like full moons and eclipses. Each cat has different strengths and weaknesses depending on the zodiac they're born under also :)

The lore behind mine is simply romance and darkness. females will likely have names having to do with nighttime or darkness as a whole, while most of the males, save any that come to us altered, will have flower prefixes. Altered cats of either gender will likely have very gentle names, with a select few to hold names from mythology, tying the pride together.

Mine is based on the general feeling of a rainy, foggy afternoon in Autumn. Gentle, calming, but still strong. Confused, scared, but you keep going. Their names reflect that; Reedstar is the reeds and switchgrasses, for example.

Like I said in the start post, mine is actually based loosely off of a real-life mob of meerkats! (Meerkat Manor, anyone?) I plan to add six more cats, then just breed for a while after that. I just hope Hollystar can keep up!

Replies will be today now that my work-weekend is over (the place I work has us do it in A/B shifts, so A shifts work Monday Wednesday and every other Friday/saturday/sunday, and then I'm in the B shift where I'll work Tuesday, Thursday, and the other friday/saturday/sundays) That's why I've been real quite despite setting this up x'D

@Deerteeth: Reedstar says blep x3 Love the pic tho. And truly, the fog has been absolutely insane where I'm at lately. I walk to work when I go, and it's up on the top of a hill. When I reach the top in the mornings and turn around I can't even see the bottom of the hill, much less the rest of campus. It's so insane. It's peaceful and quiet, but there's also that vibe of 'its too quiet where's the jumpscare coming from' so I love that you've turned that sensation into your clan's concept!

@Pisces: I had noticed the star signs, and that's a really cool idea to be basing your clan off of! Powers will probably come once I have all of the basics completely worked out, but I'm really excited for them to come, but I will say there will be a special gene that triggers mutations (think of mutations in like X-Men, where its a genetic abnormality), so pre-existing cats won't be able to reverse have them, but I'll be rolling a random cat chooser to decide one cat in everyones clan (if they so choose) to be carrying the powers modifier :D

@Unova: That's a very interesting concept! When you say altered do you mean cats who have been spayed/neutered? I can start adding in a small chance of that to your clans' specific rolls if you'd like for that to be a challenge for Nightclan to face!

@Stinky: I haven't actually heard of them before, but I just looked them up and it seems pretty cool! I look forward to seeing the kittens!

As for myself, like you can see on the main thread I'd like the idea of adding in some staff someday (once I have everything totally smoothed out, or if we get another sudden burst of 5+ people) because I do have a clan concept I've been wanting to use. It's not the example one I made with my alt (secretclan), but one based more off of some barn cats my family used to have. Basically just cats living in an abandoned barn chilling, but with plenty of high stakes action thrown at them, all based off the stories me and my siblings used to make for them.

Hey everyone, I'd like to give you guys the chance to offer feedback, especially in these really early days of Clan Quest!

What sort of loot do you guys think you should be able to find on patrol?
Obviously we've got prey and herbs, but what else could be helpful?
And feel free to go wild with the suggestions, even if they don't end up added, I'll be keeping a suggestion board of sorts with everything to possibly add in the future!

@Deerteeth - I like the idea of toys, though I'm not sure what purpose they would serve...Were you thinking as an extra challenge to keep your cats entertained as well as fed, more similar to Lioden, or as a training booster to help train apprentices and boost their chances of succeeding in their training?

@Stinkytoez - Oooo that's great, I'll add that to the loot table. It can be a choice in every time you find one to be like "you've found a small child in the woods...what do you do with it?"

Yes, altered as in spayed/neutered, The Clan is extremely open, they have a role for everyone that joins.

I'd love to see maybe clan interaction as we get further along.

And clan interaction would be pretty cool, I'm working on setting up a map system as a special release for thanksgiving (season of being thankful, Im thankful y'all are willing to play this game I've made x'D) so that can definitally be tied in!

@Deerteeth - Ooo now that's interesting, let me mess with my inspirational sources definitally not mods for various games I play and also pestering my soon-to-be roommate and see what I can come up with!!

@Stinkytoez - Of course! I'm not sure what you mean by them not having the same loci, since as far as I'm aware that means the order of the genetic code, and your cats are lined up. I will say a few things real quick, which should hopefully clear things up, but if they don't, then down below is the link to the Google Drive where literally everything is stored.

oo vs BB. So, Hollystar has oo because she's not black/chocolate/cinnamon based, but she's also not red based. So she's oo, where Bramblepelt is black based (even though he looks brown, because he's a tabby he's got the black gene instead of chocolate/cinnamon)
The extra WW on Holly: I gave her that because of her special breed, the way I'm doing it has it as, if it's something that's breed or mutation specific, like bengal markings, curly/wiry fur, or a bobtail, then it only shows up if there's confirmed appearances of it in the family tree. So a bobtail cat has its extra indicator BtBt. They have a kid who is not bobtailed, and that kitten will then get btbt. Even though they aren't bobtailed, this shows that somewhere in the family tree, there was the potential to be bobtailed, and that they are carrying that gene :D

Oh damn, this is really good! I was wondering what would happen if I sent out two cats at the same time to search for cats.
