Anahera slowly stepped through the rain, taking in the cold raindrops and searching through the plains. A wooden sign caught her eye in the distance that read, 'Selling my pride! Lions for sale!' She stopped walking and cocked her head, zoning in on the male who sat inside of the cave who was surrounded by beautiful lions and cubs. "Worth a look" she mumbled under her breath as she began pacing toward the cave. As she got closer, she noticed the other kings and queens stopping to take a look and decided to slow her steps.

Once she reached the cave, she looked toward the seller of the lions. She slouched her way toward the king with careful, long-gaited steps. When Anahera reached the lion she sat down beside him, "Hello, I'm Anahera. I noticed your sign and wanted to stop in. I think that some of these have a lot of potential". She stood back up, stretching and yawning from the constant rain outside. Oh how the rain makes my bones ache, she complained silently. She began walking toward the bunch of lions carefully looking them over. Moss Ball is very promising but, we already have many hybrids... I don't think it would be wise to continue acquiring them she thought carefully.

After searching through the pride of lions, she had picked a few that she thought would make good additions to her own pride. Anahera slowly made her way back to the king, "A lot of your pride are very beautiful. I want to know how much it would be for Polycaudal and Party Popper?" She again sat beside the king, aching from the rain.

"Hello again," Ponda called from the entrance of the sales cave to Tau. Ponda knew this den very well from his last visit, and he only recognized a few new faces that caught his eye. Machi his heir, and his two queens, padded in from the rainy outdoors into the den. Queen Jino, who had once been known as Snappy, and had lived among these lions went about socializing with her former pride mates. Queen Lia on the other paw, disgusted by the sopping mess her fur had become, sat down in a dry area of the den and began grooming herself. Ponda let Machi take the lead as they browsed the many lions gathered in the cave. He oohed and ahhed at practically every lioness, while Ponda explained to him that beauty was important but, not all there was to consider. An amused Ponda pointed out one of the many lionesses that Machi had mentioned. She was an adolescent lioness with a sign that read "Kinda Pretty but not Ferus", he explained that she was an excellent pick because she is beautiful and has a high probability of producing Ferus cubs. Machi agreed and they approached Tau.

"Young king Tau, we have come to inquire about the price of the adolescent marked "Kinda Pretty but not Ferus". If she is available for sale."


(I got carried away with the story. Long story short I'm interested in "kinda pretty but not ferus". Sorry bout that XD)

He turned around and made for the exit, followed closely by his heir and two queens. He waved his tail to the young king in farewell then ducked out of the cave.
