Edit: we’ve got an Amorphous Globosus CD coming! I’ll link the CD page when it’s approved! trying to get a decor for this through soon! Amorphous Globosus only occurs in twins (so likely could only happen with a lioness pregnant with two cubs?) and it pretty much just makes one baby a ball. no joke. just a hair ball. The other cub wouldn’t be affected, of course there isn’t much research at all of this (bc it’s so rare) but maybe an in-game effect is that the other cub has a higher chance of being mutated, or no in-game affect at all to the sibling cub. Edit: I said this before in the original posting, for the sake of realism I think this would only happen in cases of 2+ cub litters. So far this condition has only been found in twin pairings. it wouldn’t be an issue to add it to single cub litters though, as plenty of mutations and other aspects of the game go against reality a bit. After doing a bit more research, there may have been a case of Amorphous Globosus in humans! I cant find an article on it, so I’m not 100% sure that this is real, so please take it with a grain of salt A couple people suggested having the “cub” as a decor/inventory item when they die. The people i can find that said this (or a similar idea) are Pienut #191227, TheGreatVixen #137519, PunkJesus666 #261737, Mewflakes #88492, Kiwi #137587 D-Chan #249794 suggested that using CRB/lion meat/GMO cow + a GOP would increase the chances of getting this mutation adding onto this myself: Since the deformity is commonly found in livestock, maybe it could only have a chance of occurring if a GMO is used? King Crow #64045 suggested the mutation only being able to be breedable on april fools day ThinkerMouse (he/they) #247874 has suggested that if it doesn’t become a mutation, it could be a breeding item that increases chances of a mutation when eaten (but instead of a lion cub, it would be a cow) similar to lion meat or a GMO cow Pop-up messages: "Your lioness notices her [name]... They're not even a cub, are they? It's just a ball of flesh! She's not sure what to do with it." -London #132548 "(lioness) had a strange birth. What almost seemed like a hairball had come out of the wrong end. It appears to be moving, though weakly." -- Sol (check online date) #132333 “[Name] calls you over in a panic, gesturing to her new cubs. The first one seems fine and is sleeping peacefully, but the other... Where is it's legs? It doesn't even have a face or a head, but it writhes in pain. Gods, help it...” -D-chan #249794 gonna end this edit by saying I 100% understand not supporting because the mutation is technically not alive, but saying it is unrealistic or “too disturbing” is a reach, considering the majority of existing lethals are stillborn at birth. and as multiple people below have pointed out, this mutation isn’t any more disturbing than harlequin or cyclopia. I think the birth of a glorbosus cub would be handled as a tragedy the way other lethals are, but in a community sense I like all the jokes people have come up with and I hope we can keep having fun with the idea If I’ve missed any serious dialogue ideas or have missed crediting somebody please tell me! and if you have any more ideas for it feel free to jot down any! |

Unfortunately, no support. As you said, it's just a sack of meat and fur. Since it isn't alive, I don't see it being a Mutation. Must say tho, I never heard of that before. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I actually support that. It'd be very cute, even if non-survivable - but, so isnt the cyclops or ichty. A tribble lion. Edit: Also Potato, Marimo, and all other kinds of memes. Obviously dying the next rollover after being born, but, it certainly can survive long enough on maternal feeding through umbilical cord, so it would be "born" alive, just... live a very short life. Which is how much other lethals also live in real life, really, cyclops usually dies within minutes of being born. 1 player likes this post! Like? Wait so I actually really really like this idea... I started drawing fanart for it Can you imagine giving birth to this thing Lineart -- the ones online seem to have little flesh tails, so I drew one lol Haze base Green base LMFAO IT'S A MOSS BALL I've never colored digitally before. I literally downloaded Krita just for this and I don't know how blending works. I think I'll draw Blood Moon, Parhelion, and Frostbitten, too. And maybe my king... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?? Anyway, I think this could be an actual mutation in the game. I did some research and it looks like these are similar to parasitic twins, but instead of leeching off the sibling, they leech off the placenta. It's not a living being, but it is made out of living tissue. It can have flesh, fur, bone, and partially-developed organs, but never has a heart (or, I assume, brain tissue). If this were added to the game, only the Base and Markings would be visible. Unless they made a partially hairless version that showed the Skin. But it's cuter as a fluffball in my opinion. I think this would be one of the easiest linearts to color, but markings might be really difficult (hence why I haven't attempted to draw any yet). I would adore this as a lethal mutation that dies the rollover after being born, like Cyclopia and Harlequin Ichthyosis. Since it only appears in twin births, it would probably be the rarest lethal mutation in the game. I can think of so much custom decor for it... 13 players like this post! Like? |

I'm so glad you like it omg. I was laughing so hard when I drew the first one. Imagine seeing something like that in the news post that introduces it This probably won't be added to game as a mutation but... I might commission a custom decor of it... 1 player likes this post! ooooo! I don’t know how to make custom decor but if i did i’d LOVE to make one of little glorbosus cubs, possibly covering any lethals? or maybe just- kinda sitting beside the lion it’s equipped to 0 players like this post! Like? |

question is- do i include the other cub? the idea of them storming around with their Ball Sibling is kinda funny to me 😭🤚 or if it’s a decor, them just trying to play with it 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Awww I support! It’s a sad thought but a pretty funny concept. I also like the idea that it boosts the chance of the sibling having a mutation! It would be incredibly rare, but I think it’s a great idea 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh wow, even knowing what it was based on what you described, I was afraid to google it lol It would be an interesting mutation, even if it's not really a cub but rather just a non-sentient blob. Based on what I've read, they can't really be born without assistance (it has only been documented in farm animals) so idk if they would make sense... But, as one of the original supporters of the green lions cause, I feel like it's all been leading up to moss ball lions. It's what this community needs. In terms of the artwork, I think markings would be actually impossible to render on them, since how would it translate point markings? It has no legs or face. They would look fine with just the base colors. 2 players like this post! Like? |

I was thinking about this the other day lol. Also if it can’t pass as a “cub” maybe there’s a VERY rare chance the mother gives birth to it but it goes to the hoard as a decor item? So some people can collect them. I think they should come in different shades. Just color group colors though, like red, brown, cream, golden, black 4 players like this post! Like? |
