Edit: we’ve got an Amorphous Globosus CD coming! I’ll link the CD page when it’s approved! trying to get a decor for this through soon! Amorphous Globosus only occurs in twins (so likely could only happen with a lioness pregnant with two cubs?) and it pretty much just makes one baby a ball. no joke. just a hair ball. The other cub wouldn’t be affected, of course there isn’t much research at all of this (bc it’s so rare) but maybe an in-game effect is that the other cub has a higher chance of being mutated, or no in-game affect at all to the sibling cub. Edit: I said this before in the original posting, for the sake of realism I think this would only happen in cases of 2+ cub litters. So far this condition has only been found in twin pairings. it wouldn’t be an issue to add it to single cub litters though, as plenty of mutations and other aspects of the game go against reality a bit. After doing a bit more research, there may have been a case of Amorphous Globosus in humans! I cant find an article on it, so I’m not 100% sure that this is real, so please take it with a grain of salt A couple people suggested having the “cub” as a decor/inventory item when they die. The people i can find that said this (or a similar idea) are Pienut #191227, TheGreatVixen #137519, PunkJesus666 #261737, Mewflakes #88492, Kiwi #137587 D-Chan #249794 suggested that using CRB/lion meat/GMO cow + a GOP would increase the chances of getting this mutation adding onto this myself: Since the deformity is commonly found in livestock, maybe it could only have a chance of occurring if a GMO is used? King Crow #64045 suggested the mutation only being able to be breedable on april fools day ThinkerMouse (he/they) #247874 has suggested that if it doesn’t become a mutation, it could be a breeding item that increases chances of a mutation when eaten (but instead of a lion cub, it would be a cow) similar to lion meat or a GMO cow Pop-up messages: "Your lioness notices her [name]... They're not even a cub, are they? It's just a ball of flesh! She's not sure what to do with it." -London #132548 "(lioness) had a strange birth. What almost seemed like a hairball had come out of the wrong end. It appears to be moving, though weakly." -- Sol (check online date) #132333 “[Name] calls you over in a panic, gesturing to her new cubs. The first one seems fine and is sleeping peacefully, but the other... Where is it's legs? It doesn't even have a face or a head, but it writhes in pain. Gods, help it...” -D-chan #249794 gonna end this edit by saying I 100% understand not supporting because the mutation is technically not alive, but saying it is unrealistic or “too disturbing” is a reach, considering the majority of existing lethals are stillborn at birth. and as multiple people below have pointed out, this mutation isn’t any more disturbing than harlequin or cyclopia. I think the birth of a glorbosus cub would be handled as a tragedy the way other lethals are, but in a community sense I like all the jokes people have come up with and I hope we can keep having fun with the idea If I’ve missed any serious dialogue ideas or have missed crediting somebody please tell me! and if you have any more ideas for it feel free to jot down any! |

Hmmmm yeah I agree. But has it ever appeared irl that the twin was attached to the orb? Also yeah, both two heads and conjoined cubs are caused by the same genetic deformation. They are both twins, just grew into one. 0 players like this post! Like? |

since little is known about them, I can’t find anything that says whether they’ve been attached or not, but in the few cases I have found they are separate maybe instead of being separate cubs or entirely joined together, they’re just drawn in the same art? Since it’s implied both would die (assuming the twin is sick, though realistically from what i’ve looked up the orb wouldn’t affect the others health drastically) if not, then we could scratch out the idea of the twin entirely, and go back to it only appearing in two or more cub litters (with none of the other cubs being affected) but im still unsure of how possible that would be to code in the game or have the idea of it simply being a decor upon RO, the same way beetles become an item when dead 0 players like this post! Maybe when you get a 2 cub litter it just increases the chance of an orb but the twin is just healthy? Idk tbh but to make it realistic maybe just keep the other cub normal. 0 players like this post! Like? |

How about before the first ro, it has artwork of the twin and the orb together, then after ro it turns into the normal cub artwork with the orb equipped as decor? and if you take it off it will keep the x amount of uses till its used again(or it can become a breeding item after the first ro) 2 players like this post! Sorry I’m gonna have to pass- it has no real purpose and I feel it would do better as a custom decor 0 players like this post! Like? |

Here’s hoping that CD gets accepted… emphasis on hoping as the ones behind accepting/rejecting custom decors have not been too kind lately. Not as in mean, but as in the fact that I have had rejection after rejection lately. 3 players like this post! Like? |

I love the idea and also that idea that it could be only breedable during april fools day! But I'm fine with both. 0 players like this post! Like? |

necroposting to say gimme orbs or gimme death. lions that are just butts like Tinjoh suggested would be lots of fun too, though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm unsure whether to support or not to be honest. Cyclopia and harlequin at least still have limbs, tails and a head but this is just a ball. On the other hand, imagine turning it into a football lol 0 players like this post! Like? |
