I hate that some rosettes or special markings are so flipping hard to breed.

Mottled stripes - I have a mottled stripes girl and she's one of the rare clean ones and I can't pass the marking even if I breed her to a mottled stripes stud.

Briar Heavy/Soft rosette - Again, same problem. I have open slots, the rosette is at full or a high opacity. Will it pass? Nope.

Fiery Heavy/ Soft - Same deal. And I also can't find ones that are studding (one person said they would but that's another problem).

I love these rosettes and I'd love to have them on a king at some point (same with mottled stripes). Hard to do if I can't find clean cubs or get the rosettes to pass. Also the new seal costs a fortune so I have to wait on that one.

Disagree. I really like that there is markings in game that are more valuable than other markings that are easy to pass. I think it’s more of a challenge and adds value to lions, what I CANT tolerate is that they are pretty much all some form of Rosette. I don’t honestly care for the mark because of how overused it is and at this point you can buy them for a GB or less so it doesn’t feel worth the effort anymore unless you can get double+. Still, it’s nice that they have a different mechanic, though I imagine kings would be a lot more diverse if they weren’t because not everyone would be trying to get them.

I hate when you’re buying a heat from someone and they make it clear that if you have a lethal/first gen born that they will get the cub and refund you fully. That’s not how selling heats work. If youre paying full then you have all rights to all the cubs born. So many times do I have to pass on buying heats because of this rule even though I know it probably wouldn’t happen. I mean, imagine that. You save up a bunch for a hybrid heat and bam, once in your life get a first gen. Then they say “actually no. It’s mine. But I’ll give you your GB and items back.” Just because you are jealous that your lioness gave birth to something rare to someone else does not mean it’s okay to revoke it. They paid for it and that’s the risk you’re taking.

brooo agree. I'm glad other people are passing up on buying heats from people because of that. I know it's rare af and probably wouldn't happen, but if it did? bruh. If you want the lion, you gotta pay me for it now; it's mine :l Maybe a compromise can be reached, like I get the first gen but they get their first heat or something since they DID provide the lion that gave birth to it after all. Or something like 50/50 custody (hard to work out on a site where someone can just... disappear though)


My newest pet peeve is small in comparison haha, but I get annoyed when someone messages me with some kind of offer, I click into it to read it, and like 10 minutes later they're like "well?" And immediately I'm just, "bro fk OFF, let me type omg", I don't even wanna give them a response at that point x(

I understand being impatient and wanting a response, maybe being worried that they forgot to reply back. But... give at least an hour. Most people don't live on this game. Even so, for an offer, it does take a couple minutes to verify prices on branches and trade center - NO, I do not blindly trust that your prices are accurate lmao, I ain't getting swindled if I can help it.

A few days ago I got a message out of the blue from someone wanting to offer a few breeding items for 100 GB, and the prices they gave me were slightly higher than current branch prices so I would've paid 100 GB for a 94 GB immediate resale value. So I responded back to them, probably about 10 or 12 minutes later, and I see that I got another message from them... 7 minutes after their first message!

Hasn't really happened to me, but would agree in that situation. Makes you wonder how some people can even play this game, after all it is sort of based on patience - waiting for energy, for births, cooldowns, etc.

I absolutely hate it when studs have too many marking slots. Like, you see this stunning lion but then you take a closer look at the first 10 slots, and it's all zebra and brawl and algae and tail spotting... And even if the visible markings were acceptable, the cubs will look nothing like the stud. It feels like buying a food item because it looks nice on the packaging, only to discover that half of the stuff is missing and that the package actually says "serving suggestion".

agree. please make your slot 1-10 markings something that fits! no slot 1 red zebra that gets covered up with all the other markings on your king but makes my cubs turn out bright sunburnt red! personally i dont even use my kings 11-20 slots because chances are nobody's going to reveal those 11-20 slots on the cubs.

a small one i can't be too mad at but i hate it when offers are removed too soon. please leave your offer up! i keep getting offers that are posted then removed before i even see them. i could have accepted if it was good! i understand if it was a mistake and you accidentally added something you didn't mean to but they never come back. i understand theres nothing really i can do since its fully their right to take back their offer if i didnt accept it but god it gets a little frustrating after a while when you have no offers because you only had a 30 minute window to accept each of them and you were sleeping.

I agree! When I had an interstellar remnants app up for trade there were quite a few times (most were the same person for whatever reason) where someone would send an offer while I was offline, I’d go online 5 minutes later (it would always be like 5 minutes or less, I’d check the time-stamps) and they had removed the requests. It was a bit annoying just bc that applicator took like a month and a half to sell.

I don’t have many pet peeves for this game, and this may have been said already, but it’s a tad bit annoying when people label lions with like 1 colorful marking as a colorbomb when they aren’t. On the other end of it, I also don’t like when colorbombs have a ton of colorful markings that don’t go together. Like, yes the green markings are technically colorful…that doesn’t mean they go with haliotis. We seem to have an odd mix in the site of ‘colorbombs’ that are really tan with one haliotis marking, colorbombs that have too many colors, and the rare good looking ones. (This might be confusing and for that I apologize, I had a hard time thinking of a pet peeve to write about so I ended up kind of rambling XD)

oh my god THIS ^^ half the colorbombs on tc right now are brown lions with one haliotis marking and i actually posted about that one in this form earlier. totally agree please don't sell your lion as a colorbomb if its just gonna be like, a fawn base with haliotis feline and like one other marking

i hate it when trades are listed as something like "frostbitten cub", and you go look thinking it's a cub with frostbitten base you might want but it's actually just a random common base cub with one or two frostbitten markings. i see this with every single base that has associated markings. i feel like it's at least a little sketchy listing lions like that, it might trick a newbie into thinking they're buying a special base lion, and for everyone else who checks the lion first it leads to just a feeling of disappointment.

Lol agree. I don't usually browse the TC without looking for something specific, but sometimes my eye gets caught on a cheap "PULSAR CUB" and I get bamboozled with a plain cub with 17% Pulsar Dim :v

I hate when people make trades like "LF HEIR (READ DESCRIPTION PLEASE!!)" and the description is something short and vague like "lf mutie"... PUT IT IN THE TITLE THEN? The description can be like 200 additional characters or something, use it for specifics! Ahh!

My pet peeve is when people complain about something free, like when I did a wardrobe contest a while back people complained about the rewards I offered (some sb and the chaos snake decor) because they didn’t like the color. If you don’t want it you don’t have to take it. That’s it. No need to fly into a rage.

For me, I always get a little annoyed when I see unfair SB to gb trades. Like it'll be a trade that says 'SB for GB' and the sb they're offering is 600 SB and expecting someone to buy it for 1 gb. Idk, just seems so unfair to me, especially since it's not hard to see that sb yo gb is usually 1k sb and not such a small amount.

Agree - I've even seen people BLATANTLY flipping it (is that the word?), like buying 1 GB for 500 SB and selling 1 GB for 1000 SB. And the trades are right next to eachother... bro

I hate when someone is looking for a price check and some new player (less than a couple weeks of gameplay) weighs in with a... very inaccurate lowball. Or hell, even astronomically high estimates. I know it's not necessarily their fault, but if you don't know at least a range, don't answer! Might end up with some poor player selling their hybrid heat for 1% of the actual value, or someone being VERY picky taking offers on their primal that's worth 2 GB but were told was worth 15.
