TheSinsOfTheFather that is horrible!! I would have cussed out that Karen mom for not raising her kid right. I would never just grab someone's dog. You never know if the dog has trauma or hates touch >:l I usually ask the owner if I may touch the dog. If they say yes, I offer a hand for the dog to sniff before touching the doggo

This is the thing, you can train a dog- train to attack and defend but you are making yourself the aggressor! When you do things like that you become the threat, there is no trust just fear, correct training means the dog trusts you enough and understands its training and not just you hurting them! My current dog tiger is like 12, he is a working breed and purebred.

My mother got him and ignored the whole working breed thing, my siblings were always run over by him from his energy. So much energy my parents thought "Put him in a cage he'll learn". Not crate training- which is very good to teach a dog, but leaving him in there all day n night and sometimes forgetting to feed/let him out to potty. Not only that but he was kept in the basement and my dads friends would poke at him- "Teaching him how to attack, keep you all safe."

He is now so afraid of adult men- he is 12 and is still plagued by not only the one time someone broke in but the treatment he endured. He could have been a show dog, a working class dog on a nice farm, or a true family dog with correct training and outside time. Instead he is a fearful dog who turns that fear into aggression. I've seen this in almost every breed, no matter their stereotypes. The problem is NEVER the dog, its the owner.

I agree, Aura. It was actually my Mother (she is a not good person). We all told her it's verbal abuse and she'd yell at us to shut up, Bella was her dog, etc. Bella started getting aggressive because of the treatment but ever since I began caring more for her, she stopped which is great

I very much agree with you SinsOfTheFather. I've seen so many good dogs get abused and it is heartbreaking. Humanity sucks sometimes

Tiger is a blue merle border collie- he has two different colored eyes. Those are a very expensive type of colored coat to buy, like 800+ and they ruined him

Oooh he sounds handsome!! I'm sorry they did that to him though.. My dream dog is a red merle Australian shepherd :D My pit is a mix of things. Her Father is full pit whilst her mother is a mix of breeds. She's a snow white pit with a singular big brown spot on her left eye. She also has black dots all over her skin like a little dalmation
