Shatteredpaw snuck out of the medicine cat den. Everyone was sleeping in the den, she didn't want to wake them, but is was really stuffy in there, I mean there were three sleeping cats, ing her. Shatteredpaw breathed a sigh of relief, the fresh air was AMAZING! She looked around, was anyone out of there dens, well it isn't surprising, it wasn't even sunrise.
" I wish I could get up at sunrise to go practice battle moves and hunting.....wait, where in the warrior code does it say I medicine cats can't hunt?" She whispered to herself

Flamingpaw blinked her eyes open, bits of sunlight shining in from the mouth of the den. She pushed herself to her paws and stretched, quietly stepping out into the filtered sunlight. She sat down and cleaned the debris from her fur, glancing around at the other dens. "First day as a warrior apprentice... Wonder how that'll go." she sighed into her fur, nipping at a mossball that clung to her leg.

As Shatteredpaw was quietly and quickly walking to the camp entrance when she heard her mentor, Coriander'torn "oh, uhhh, I was gonna check on the elders?" She lied, but now that she thought of it, A few of the elders were complaining about ticks " I was going to get some moss from the sky tree, for mouse bile, and the queens need more moss " she lied again before standing a few tail lengths away from her mentor, waiting for a response

Flamingpaw flicked her eyes up to the sound of voices, and her eyes narrowed slightly as she tried to discern who said something. She noticed the small figure of her old denmate standing by the entrance, and she shrugged, resuming her cleaning.

"Errr, uhm, yeah........" She meowed so quietly that she could barely hear herself! What was she doing??? She was acting way to suspicious "sorry, I think I had something in my throat, yes I'm sure" She said more clearly now
