Thorn'paw padded over to the apprentice den. Sitting besides the apprentice den he noticed a figure, it was Lynx'Call a pale unusual striped tabby she-cat.

Thorn'paw twitched his paws thinking what his apprentice duties will be for today. Excitement overwhelmed him.

-Location: OakClan Camp-

Shade’Feather yawned and crept out of the warriors den on silent paws. His green gaze scanned the camp, until his eyes landed on Flaming’Paw. Right, training. The one day he didn’t wake up early. He flicked his tail. Sure he was a little excited, but he was also nervous he would immediately ruin it. Like he probably did by not being the one to wake the young cat up and instead she was left waiting for him. He walked over to the apprentice and stopped just before her.
“Ready to go out?” He asked. “Have you eaten yet? If not, go grab something from the pile, we are going to go out hunting today anyway, hopefully we can catch a few things.” He added. His tail tip twitched slightly, but he stilled it and waited for the young cat.

Flamingpaw looked at the cat approaching her and flicked her tail. "No, I haven't." She stood and trotted over to the small pile of food, picking something out for herself and her mentor, bringing it over and dropping it before him. "Suppose since you slept in so late, you're hungry too?" she muttered between large bites.

Lynx'call sat beside. "I've got plenty duties for you today. She gaved him a warning glance. "Were going out to the forest." She flicked her tail. Within seconds she got up. And waited until the young tom gets up.

-P.O.V. Shade’Feather-
-Location: OakClan Camp-

Shade’Feather couldn’t quite help the smile that crossed his face as he saw the kind thing the apprentice had done. He wasn’t normally hungry in the morning, so he usually just skipped breakfast, but since she had gone through the effort to bring it, he might as well eat. They should catch enough prey to replace what had been taken, but he still felt a slight bit bad to eat it.
“Thanks, now that you point it out I guess I could use a bit of food.” He started to eat the prey in quick bites. “I was out a bit too late last night searching for prey that wasn’t there, so I do apologize. I promise it won’t happen again, but if you like to get up early I can definitely accommodate to that. We should at least wait for sunrise until you get the basics though.” He quickly finished and tipped his head up to look at the sun. “Ready?” He asked and started to make his way across camp before pausing for her to catch up.

Shatteredpaw stumbled into the camp "Hey Coriander'Thorn!" She called "Could you help with this moss, I can barely walk!" Shatteredpaw wobbled a little more before she got to the medicine cat den.

Flamingpaw blinked and jumped to her paws, bounding to his side in long strides. She looked up at him, eyes half closed as she waited for him to lead on.

"I lead the way!" She growled quietly. She got on the fours trotting to the forest. Thorn'paw was following her trying to keep up.

Shade’Feather nodded as she caught up. He lead her toward the entrance and out into the forest, his tail flicking back and forth.
“So today we are going to hunt. As I find it to be the vital part of life. If you know basic hunting skills you know basic battle tactics. Stay quiet, stay alert, stay unseen. We are first going to practice stalking and learned specific scents of prey and how to handle them. Please remember mistakes are bound to happen and do not get discouraged. If you fail as a warrior, then I’ve failed as a mentor.” He rattled off his speech as though he’s said it multiple times before, and he had, only to himself though. He had been hoping and planning for an apprentice ever since he became a warrior. He hoped he was doing a good job. He kept up his swift pace as he led Flaming’Paw to a secluded place where they could practice undisturbed.
