Welcome! This is a private roleplay between Owl’Feather and I(Northe). If you would like to roleplay with us, you could join other things! Hope to see you there! Once I figure out what it is I'll put a link here, possibly the tribes! or Shattered skies! hey that rhymes Shattered Skies Main Guide! ————————————————————————— IntroductionThe five Clans of the forest have been at careful peace ever since The Storm. Now the threat grows from within as the cats get back to their normal lives. Border patrols are fighting, and the prey seems scarce, even in GreenLeaf. Will the cats unite under common goals, or will their differences be the thing to tear them apart? InformationSeason: Late GreenLeaf The prey should running well as all the trees are green and growing happily. The occasional rainstorm keeps the land green and thriving. Next Gathering: 3 Days The Gathering is coming up soon! Assignments on who can go are not out yet, but some warriors and many apprentices are hoping this might be their chance to go! Last Gathering Recap: Average Gathering. Not very high tensions, but some were disturbed by Wet'Pelt's death. Next Half Moon Meeting: 18 Days Not at all on the minds of the medicine cats, unless something has happened and they hope to meet with StarClan. Last Half Moon Meeting Recap: Silent'Ripple's first Half Moon Meeting without Wet'Pelt. He said as few words as possible. Weather: Heavy Cloud Cover Rain is very likely. The air is dense and the humidity is rising. It isn’t going to rain yet, but it will probably by the night. Current Time: Sunhigh The patrols should be on their way back, for a small time of relaxation for those on morning patrols, training for the apprentices, and preparation for another round of patrols. Recent Events: RainClan has a fight over MountainClan's and their borders. RainClan won, but their territory didn't expand, as they had been defending. Both Snake'Bite and Vine'Crawler were noted to be a powerful fighting force and took out the majority of Mountain Clan's warriors, though none were injured badly enough to be put out of commission, even for a day. The former CavernClan Medicine Cat, Wet'Pelt, died in a Rainstorm last moon. CavernClan now has a cat who is barely over the age of an apprentice healing the clan. Recap! —After Vine’Crawler and Snake’Bite finish their fight, a both hunting and border patrols are sent out. The hunting patrol, led by Snake’Bite, finds great success, despite Red’Splat’s distracted nature. The border patrol in the other hand, finds Proud’Scar alone, antagonizing two MountainClan cats on the border. The cats face off, the MountainClan cats outnumbered, but not standing down. Later, Snake’Bite and Shade’Feather arrive, having heard the commotion, leaving the rest of the hunting group to head back to camp. As Snake’Bite is conversing with the MountainClan cats, she is attacked by a MountainClan patrol, and a battle breaks out. With Snake’Bite immediately out, RainClan ends up retreating, but the battle cannot be considered a true victory, with no territory loss or gained, but also, the threat of RainClan’s anger. -Grey’Pelt has died. Snake'Bite RainClan territory LeafStar & Vine'Crawler Snake'Bite could only gasp at the angry wave of words that Vine'Crawler let flow. Sure she knew he could get angry but that he was so mad she hadn't expected. It seemed like he wasn't necessarily mad at her but at them, had she blamed him for the wrong thing? He was just a cat who had just lost his clan mate... she should have shown more empathy. Embarrassed that she had lashed out at him like she had she lowered her ears slightly, her claws were digging into the soil in discomfort. When she spoke up her voice was quiet and she didn't look either of the cats in the eyes but focused on the dirt infront of her. "I might have to apologise to you... Vine'Crawler. In my own anger I overlooked that you also lost a clanmate. Forgive me for lashing out on you, I was not in the right to..." Finally she lifted her head to look at Leaf'Star, wondering if the leader would say anything. Tear'Paw RainClan Territory-> borders Silver'Moon, other cats below camp His mother's fur brought little comfort and only let the tears run faster. A future without his father seemed dull and emotionless, truely Tear'Paw didn't even want to feel anything. His eyes hurt and so did his body, weak in the emotional pain and loss that he had experienced. The small tom sniffed and tried his best to regain his posture although his legs shook beneath him when he drew away from his mother. He felt watched as he stood there with the shook visible on his face. Tear'Paw couldn't stay there he knew he had to go find someone else to talk to... without a care he turned and ran into the forest. Desperately he hoped that no one followed him, it would be terrible if they found out he was running towards the borders... Rust'Paw PineClan Territory npcs ~ Dust whirled up as the cat landed in the dry dirt. You might have thought it was Rust'Paw, but if you knew him you would have surely known it wasn't him. It was his opponent that lay on his back in the middle of a group of adolescents with Rust'Paw himself leaning over the bullied one. An evil smile had crept over the tabby's face as he stared down onto what he hated; some cat that had come up with the plan to stand up to him. The result of the overthrowing attempt had looked something like this; a fight between himself and Rustpaw, the most strong adolescent of PineClan. His blue eyes pinned the weaker cat to the ground. The fear fed into Rust'Paw's ego and filled his chest with pride. The chant of his fellow followers didn't pass his ears without leaving an extra heap of confidence in him. He lowered one of his claws and left a few couple deep scratches on the looser's cheek, a sign to not try and overrule him again, before he let go of the cat that scrambled to get up and away. The other adolescents around him shouted mean things after the cat before coming over to congratulate their leader... (Took me forever but please welcome rustpaw! He and vinecrawler would make great friends ) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/11/23 @ 10:00:15 by 🦉𝕆𝕨𝕝🦉 (#406677) |

Vine'Crawler RainClan Territory Snake'Bite & Leaf'Star Vine'Crawler was still looking at the ground in disgust, when he felt some sort of change around Snake'Bite. He lifted his head and saw her lowered ears. He felt a squirm of discomfort deep inside for causing her to feel however she was feeling. When she spoke, any semblance of anger that still remained dripped away. His mind reeled for any response, something to fix this. This... that needed fixing. He wasn't sure what, he didn't know how, but it was wrong. He needed to fix it. He felt the anger rising up again, the need to attack something, the want to fight. His claws itched to lash out. His claws themselves curled into the dirt, pulling at the roots of the grasses. But he could think of no response. Nothing he could do. It was over now and there was nothing he could do. __ __ __ Leaf'Star RainClan Territory to the camp below Snake'Bite & Vine'Crawler Leaf'Star felt a surge of pride at Snake'Bite's words. Were these cats growing and developing right before her eyes? Were they about to take a big step in their relationship of actually apologizing to each other? Was there now going to be a relationship? Would they bond through this shared experience? Leaf'Star just couldn't help herself. Her best friend and her second best warrior. They would make such a strong family... Leaf'Star quickly snapped herself out of her thoughts as the silence stretched on. She had expected Vine'Crawler to respond, but when he didn't Leaf'Star's hopes crumbled just a little. She had hoped that he would speak up and accept Snake'Bite's peace offering. But maybe, as an outside viewer, Leaf'Star had missed something in their interaction. She was about to fall into another loop of analyzing when she realized Snake'Bite was looking at her. She cleared her throat. "It's alright Snake'Bite," She said, speaking for Vine'Crawler. "We're all struggling with this loss. It'll be alright though, our clan will get through it together. Speaking of the clan, we should hurry up. We need to be there to offer our strength as support to the other warriors." She spoke softly, referring to both these cats as strong figureheads for the rest of the clan. Snake'Bite of course as being the deputy, but Vine'Crawler as well for simply being such a strong and valuable warrior. Additionally, if they can refrain from fighting in front of the others, it will show a better unity among the higher-ups and hopefully supply a sense of safety, that they will make it through these tough times. She didn't say any of this out loud though, and as she turned to brush past the two to lead them back toward camp, she hoped her few words might help the two cats think and recognize something within themselves. __ __ __ Rain'Drop Below RainClan Camp Tear'Paw & All the others Rain'Drop shifted on her paws, her breath catching in her throat as Tear'Paw ran off into the forest. Something itched in her paws to chase after him. He was her apprentice, and she needed to make sure he was okay. But something else told her to stay. A quiet voice in her mind told her she was better needed here. So she turned back to the gathering of cats. The silence was painful. It wasn't any sort of peaceful silence that would imply the quiet grieving of the loss of a well-loved cat. It was the silence that sat on the edge of a knife. One wrong move might ruin it, but Rain'Drop felt a desperate longing for this silence to end. She couldn't say anything, every thought of a word had dried on her throat, and she couldn't bear the idea of speaking now. A thick wind rustled through the undergrowth carrying the heavy scent of rain. Rain'Drop's ear twitched at a low rumble that echoed off in the distance. It seemed that even the stars would weep for the warrior's death. Just then, Red'Splat made an entrance down into the group. He plopped down on heavy paws, and just managed to not flop over. He looked around the group, eyes narrowed. "Where's Vine'Crawler?" He asked. Rain'Drop glanced over her shoulder. Where were the other cats? She should have gone back to check on Vine'Crawler and Snake'Bite again. They probably still needed medical attention. She remained silent as she worried about them. ((Whawehehehehe... Snake'Bite RainClan territory Leafstar, Vine'Crawler, others The silence that Vine'Crawler responded with sent shivers down the length of her back. Unwillingly her fur rose slightly but she calmed it down a little. It would have been way easier to deal with Vinecrawler shouting at him instead of not saying anything. Luckily Leaf'Star saved then both the embarrassment of talking and pushed them to return to camp. The deputy, ashamed at how the fight had happened and that she hadn't been able to save her warriors, had her ears lowered and stared more at the ground than the obstacles infront of her, bringing her to stumble over a couple roots that had grown across the dirt. It was embarrassing enough that they had both lost their words, these two cats that fought so often and never seemed to be silent and a fall would definitely not be what she wanted to happen right now. To her relief they reached camp swiftly without any further encounters or roots and cats, but the relief quickly faded when she noticed how grey the whole clan seemed. To be fair they had just lost a respected warrior. What hit her the hardest was watching Grey'Pelt's mate Silver'Moon completely destroyed. The pretty she couldn't bear facing away from the body that lay so quietly on the ground. Some of the other queens had gathered to comfort her, but nothing seemed to help. Snakebite debated walking over and giving her condolences but her words wouldn't have helped her at all so she stayed besides the leader and the cat that she had hated before the fight. Tearpaw Rainclan border/ Pineclan border Rustpaw, npcs.. Tearpaw couldn't see where he stumbled. His eyes were so blurred because of the tears that he hadn't noticed that he crossed the border and didn't even recognise the noise of a group of cats which he happened to run into. Surprised at the other cats he immediately stopped and looked up astonished. As he was still an apprentice he hadn't really gotten to know many other cars but these were none of his clan mates. He must have ran into another clans territory without noticing! Terrified at them he stood up and tried backing away but some cats had already blocked his way. npc 1: "What do we have here?. A tiny kit perhaps? RUSTPAW LOOK AT THIS!" An especially scary looking apprentice turned around and stared at Tearpaw, who wanted to sink into the ground and not be made fun of like this. What would they say to him running across the borders without a care? Rustpaw PineClan borders/territory Tearpaw & npcs A chuckle had left him as the bullied cat disappeared into the territory. He wouldn't dare snitch on him and get him into trouble, Rustpaw had made sure to scar him enough to get that thought out of his stupid mind. The other apprentices suddenly stopped chanting his name, much to his annoyance but one of them called out to him and so he turned around, just to face some random cat. Oh no, that was no random cat, he knew this cry baby. Sure of himself he stepped forwards, tail raised as to seem all friendly as he planned how to manipulate this cat the easiest way. "Oh Ant'Paw (npc), this is no random cat. This is Tearpaw! The RainClan's medicine cat apprentice. What an honour to have you! Feel welcome dear. But may I ask, you look troubled, are you alright." His caring voice seemed to get to the other apprentice and he quickly was told that this loser's father had just died. Interesting. One less cat for Rainclan, perfect! With a concered look he comforted the other. "I'm sorry that happened Tearpaw, we all feel for you. He will rest with Starclan, Grey'Pelt was a great cat." He had given his followers an evil grin, making the others catch up to his manipulation and quickly backing his words up with 'sorry's and 'he was loved's. Rustpaw was a step ahead to say the least. If the cat played into his wished he'd have a new source of information and a new member of his own clan, the true claws. Oh that name sounded great. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Vine’Crawler RainClan Territory to Camp Snake’Bite, Leaf’Star & The Rest It was decided. Vine’Crawler didn’t like feeling this way. He felt so powerless, weak, and broken. How did it all go so wrong? He walked along, his head down, trying to make sense of it all. He noticed when Snake’Bite stumbled, and for a split second he nearly stepped over to help her, but he kept his paws firmly on the ground taking one step after another. This silence was oppressive. It didn’t leave as they came among the other group, and Vine’Crawler’s demeanor changed to that of sulking. His brother, Red’Splat, seemed to sense something and he came over, taking the place to stand next to Vine’Crawler. Vine’Crawler stood there for a moment, then sat down, keeping his head low in defeat. He curled his tail around his paws, and listened as Leaf’Star shuffled her paws to begin a speech. Red’Splat sat next to him, leaning annoying close. ——— Leaf’Star Below RainClan Camp All Cats Present “This morning has been one of turmoil and loss. Have we all gathered who can make it down from camp?” Leaf’Star started speaking softly, if only to break the silence. She looked around at the cats present. Oh this sadness was just too much. She did note the absence of Tear’Paw, but she didn’t bring it up, thinking that maybe it was too much for the young cat. She took a deep breath, and did her best to say some words. “Grey’Pelt was known by all, a proud and brave warrior who valiantly gave his life in battle defending our territory. He was a warrior, a mate, and a father…” She paused for a moment. “But, as we must, our lives continue. We will remember our fellow clanmate, and ensure that the life he fought for wasn’t lost in vain. Please, if any of you have words to share, go right ahead.” She ended quietly, unsure if she had done a well enough job. What else should she say? Leaf’Star also couldn’t help but notice Vine’Crawler and Snake’Bite sitting next to each other. She was on Snake’Bite’s other side, and sat back to give some other cats space to speak if they wished. ——— Shade’Feather RainClan Camp-Nursery The kits & The Elders These kits were such a menace. Especially Yellow’Kit. Who the heck gave this kit access to those sweet berries that look poisonous but aren’t! Okay, yeah, that was his fault. How was he supposed to know that those sneaky berries he learned about in his rogue days would make this kit insane? Has he lost all his brains? Trying to wrangle this kit without running all over was proving to be difficult. Especially since he was trying to rest his shoulder. The kit ran into his paws and Shade’Feather pushed him over gently and held him down with a paw while he mewled and giggled, nibbling his tiny needle teeth into the warriors paw. Thankfully Yarrow’Heart was there to keep the younger ones safe and comfy with her soothing stories. It was enough to almost make Shade’Feather forget about the grief that had settled over the cats below. It all came back though as Horse’Tail sat next to him and requested to hear every detail about what had happened below. As the young tom turned solemn again to repeat the battle and the subsequent activities, a spark came to the elder’s eyes. Shade’Feather knew he was reliving the joys, and struggles, of his younger days. He made a note to make sure someone would keep the poor old warrior entertained with some of the newer battle stories in the future. ——— Rain’Drop Below Camp All below camp She lit up a little upon seeing Leaf’Star and Snake’Bite come into the group. She gave a nod to Leaf’Star in response to her question if all had joined who could. She didn’t think the elders or kits needed to come down, they should be doing their own version of this little chat. If she had to guess, maybe Horse’Tail and Yarrow’Heart were telling Shade’Feather all about when Grey’Pelt was a kit. They would have seen him grow up. Or maybe even Shade’Feather was sharing details of the valiant fights. When Leaf’Star finished, Rain’Drop decided she ought to say a few words as well, even if she only reiterated what she had said before. “Grey’Pelt hunts with StarClan now. His spirit will live on and watch over those of us left to cary on his legacy. He has achieved greatness, and walks among the stars. We all fought the best we could, but he has found peace.” Then she as well, bowed her head, leaving it open for any other cats as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snake'Bite Rainclan territory Leafstar, Vinecrawler, rainclan cats The heavy feeling lingering below the camp was creeping up Snake'Bite's back, leaving a trail of shivers behind. Leaf'Star's speech had left them sulking up the words, most cats unable to speak up, still grieving. If only Snake'Bite would had known how to from words of appreciation, but that generally wasn't her best skill. All she could do was wait for other cats to speak up, the weight of the battle still on her hurting heart. Raindrop did leave some words behind, and the sweet words almost made Snake'Bite forget the horror of Grey'Pelt's death, almost that is... Silently the brown cat looked up, pain in her gaze mixing with surprise as she only then really noticed that Vine'Crawler was right beside her. If the fight had turned out differently, say, they would have all gotten back without serious scars or worse, their voices would have been the only thing to hear throughout the whole camp. It almost scared her that for once it was actually silent between the two of them. Something in her was almost pleading for him to lash out on her, just so that she could take the guilty feeling of the others onto herself. Instead of saying anything she kept staring hoping that he would say something in the end... Tear'Paw Rainclan/Pineclan border Rustpaw & npcs It was wrong, and he knew it. Hanging around on another clan's territory. Strictly taken, he himself could travel through the territories as his position allowed him such, however that was more strictly limited to important missions or to sharing messages. He on the other paw (see what I did there), really had no other excuse for being there except for being mad and blinded by tears to the extent that he didn't see where he ended up. Although it was difficult to admit, the condolences of the stranger adolescents comforted him more than his own mother's words had. Perhaps the grief had been too much for the young cat but he didn't feel too unwelcome among the young cats, maybe he even felt, seen or heard in his case. Of course he was emotional, it was one of his main traits , but with being emotional came his empathy for his patients which had so far aided him in his studies. Now he felt almost childish to cry infront of the slightly older youngsters. He sniffed another time before lifting his head slowly,"I really don't mean to bother all of you, especially now. And I don't want to be... intrusive... but, how come all of you are outside camp without your mentors? Don't you have to learn hunting, or... fighting? Now I would know for sure, I'm a apprentice medicine cat soo...." Rust'Paw Pineclan border Tearpaw & followers (npcs) The silly cat amused him, mind games were his very favourite. Especially if the victim of those games was so clueless to his early stages of torture that he could literally say anything and it wouldn't change how the other cats viewed him. Rust'Paw could literally see the mental battle going on in the young cat's head and his paws tingled at the excitement of it all. The tense shoulders of the other cat seemed to lower and his whole demeanor seemed to change into a more relaxed one, a smirk appeared on Rust'Paw's face; he had cracked the cats shell. "Don't be concerned about us, you couldn't possibly anger us, hmm?", his last sound was directed to his followers who all eagerly nodded, with a swift look around he grinned and his gaze met that of the medicine cat again. "To answer your question, our clan handles their apprentices a bit differently than all the others do; we have days where we apprentices spend our time outside alone to become closer to another and to build the team spirit, that is while we hunt of course.", a confident look had overtook his eyes, it wasn't really a lie, apart from the fact that they weren't actually allowed to Hangout outside and dismiss training. Oh, and the fact that it was only his clanmates that hung out there, no no, it was cats from pretty much every other clan that wanted to join his group. To his surprise the dumb, little cat hadn't seemed to notice the sheer amount of apprentices that couldn't possibly have all been part of just pineclan... (Hey, I am actually so sorry that I'm online so inconsistently, but I do love this roleplay so I will reply, even though its 3 months late ) 0 players like this post! Like? |
