"Well, don't touch the kelp, silly!" She flipped around, rolling around in the water. "Float on your back!"

Korola lowered her curved ears, glancing back at her mother to check it was ok before splashing into the water. she let out a small squeal of alarm at the weird feeling under her paws, splashing for a moment before clinging onto a floating piece of drywood

Mooi paddled over, lightly grabbing Korola's paw. "Flip around on your back. If you keep your head back, you'll be able to breathe without hurting your neck." She lightly tugged at her sister, urging her to release the wood.

'Okay..' Korola clutched onto the log tightly, unsure what to do. Spice watched from the banks with her paws tapping against the ground in case she suddenly had to move to help them. Korola squeaked, rolling onto her back and holding her small paws up, feeling the water wash over her fur.

"Yeah! You got it!" Mooi grinned as she watched her sister float successfully. "Now try to paddle around." She gently kicked her back legs to show her.

Korola huffed, rolling onto her stomach and bobbing in the water idly, her fluffy fur acting like a life jacket and keeping her above water (I did google research for this >:[ ) 'I don't wanna-..'

Mooi rolled her eyes. "Fine. But at least you're floating." She dipped underwater, hiding within the kelp.

Spice paused, watching the kits before sliding into the water smoothly, going to get mooi. It was dangerous enough above the water, but a kit at the bottom of a pond would be even worse. She brushed at the kelp with her paws, letting out soft chirps of worry.

Mooi came floating silently up behind Korola. "Boo!" She giggled deviously as she rolled around.

Korola squealed, holding her paws up but just ending up rolling herself over, her head briefly getting submerged in water. She splashed about, snacking mooi in the face angrily. 'No! No boo >:('
Spice raised her head from under the water, her whiskers twitching from the ripples before she swam back to the surface, coming up a few tail lengths away from the two kits and swimming towards them.

Mooi gently splashed Korola and dove under before coming back up and splashing her again. Giggling, she swam all the way down to the river bed and looked for shells.

Spice let out a soft chirp of worry, hitting her paw against the surface of the water and looking down in attempts to keep up with the kit.

Mooi floated back up to the surface with a small pistachio shell, trying to convince Korola that it was some rare clam species.
