The achromatic marsupial would be twisting flower stems together in order to form some sort of.. flower stem chain, though it seemed the jill was just fiddling with the plant for the heck of it. Meanwhile, Indira had been tasked to venture further into the wooded area to harvest some more elder- and cloudberries to refresh Puawai's stock. The tigress had already gone hunting earlier that day, and managed to catch a few scrawny rabbits and a puny squirrel. Puawai had initially offered up some of her berry stock to Indira so she wouldn't have to eat such stringy meat, but the felid turned down her offer and said that she would be fine.

Also, please understand that I can not be online all the time and am trying my best to respond in a semi timely manner and still have my life outside of the rp. :000

Besides that, I try to have lengthy responses when there’s a big thing going on so please understand if it takes me some time to respond and don’t always expect for me to take 5-10 minutes, although that would be ideal. ))

Anteros nodded as Aphrodite spoke, gasping at the beauty of everything as he smiled— murmuring that Aphrodite herself was as beautiful as the land as the two walked along, side by side, of which reminded him of the past— the past that he had hated for so long, that past that was now creeping up behind him as it tried to suffocate him, although he had long since freeed himself of the shackles of the abuse, and tried to focus on DIte, instead, which seemed to be of no avail as he was constantly reminded. . .

- Flashback, both Vesta and Anteros pov -

It was Vesta’s first day in the big group, of which they had promised her shelter from the creatures and safety from others’ harm, she would be safe and comfortable here, with the others, as long as she did her role— that was what she thought.

As the days passed, Anteros had grown thinner and thinner, having not eaten or drank a single thing since the time of his abduction besides scraps and the rain water that scarcely fell, or was blocked off by the high ruins of the city. His healthy was quickly deteriorating, and it wasn’t made much better by the make shift chains on his body and the fact that he had to pretend his own emotions to the point where he no longer knew himself— and to the point where it made it increasingly easy for others to manipulate and use him for the sake of his powers, to make themselves feel happy, to make others like him, anything and everything, and they used him to solve it..

Vesta had seen this abuse happening, along with much of the other, hidden away dirty and ugly truths, and it disgusted her. She felt pity and anger, and so much so that she finally one day, although it had been against the rules, began to talk to him and give him her food— and upon hearing how hoarse and croak his voice was, she began to cry, tears silently falling down her face as she realized all the friends that she had made here had lied and let this horrid abuse go on; that he had suffered through so much pain. .

Anteros, feeling pity for her, made the sadness go away, much to Vesta’s surprise, as there was suddenly a smile across her face, and it was as though something had happened against her will, she no longer felt sad nor happy, but scared. . . Although she quickly shook away the feeling, vowing to come back to him in due time.

And that is exactly what she did.

Every day she came, every day she wasn’t sent away to do tasks for others, bringing back to Anteros amusing stories and tales of her time away, food and drink, as she explained to him her plan to escape, until finally, one day, she enacted upon it, setting him free at the cost of her well being.

- present, Anteros pov -

He tried to shake the memories away, his golden fur shimmering as he focused on the now besides all else, smiling as he looked to Dite and continued to listen to her wonderful ramblings about the surreal beauty of the land.

Thalia pov ~

The vixen’s aflame body shot up, her head ringing as she confusedly looked around, growling at the sight of so many unfamiliar faces, the smoke rising from her body only making her condition so much more unstable, but she still stood with her body alight and with her fangs bared as if to say— ‘ try me,’ and following the scent through the thick smell of smoke to Thallo— and upon her eyes landing on her familiar figure, she paused, if only for a second as her ears fell back, her eyes grew wide as if she had seen a ghost— and she ran over to Thallo, the high flame’s that ran along her back and body only a second ago dispersing as she hugged Thallo with all her might, squeezing her as she nuzzled her small head.

Thallo pov ~

On the other hand, Thallo was confused,, groaning as her wound hit the ground upon Thalia throwing herself at her, trying to push the fox away as she squealed and shoved uncomfortably, unable to do anything as Thalia simply looked confused and angry, her head tilted as she scanned Thallo’s shivering body, the lynx’s eyes growing glossy as she tried her hardest to escape from the weight on top of her, but to no avail.

Thalia pov:

Finally, it seemed the vixen caught sight of Thallo’s wounds and made up her own record of events: after the creatures attacked and they were all separated from one another, everyone thinking that Thallo had sacrificed her self by using her powers and distracting the creatures, pushing the others away , someone of the group had found Thallo; however, instead of helping her, they hurt her, seeing the fragile and vulnerable state she was in and deciding to abuse it, perhaps that would explain why Thallo for some reason couldn’t remember Thalia.

Her own theory was enough proof and evidence for her to grow mad; the flames bursting, sending embers flying and her wounds trickling with blood as her blood boiled at the mere sight of the “attackers”— she hissed even at the small mew of the kitten that was pushed away as Thalia ran towards Thallo.

She could barely form words; these beasts, no better than the creatures— worse, even— hard hurt Thallo, or of the only people who stuck by her and gave her comfort and kindness in the worst of times— she had been right all along, others were never to be trusted, and it made her see nothing but red.

Ember snarled, being knocked back. "Who are you?" She snapped, making a ring of fire around herself. (Also if they both have immunity to fire, they can't really fight fire with fire?)

They resort to good old fashioned fists. They can still use fire, therefore putting others in danger because only Thalia and Ember are immune. :00
